Qin Che glanced at him, his expression very calm: "Then thank you."

Saying that, Qin Che pushed the cart toward the kitchen.

Looking at the dazzling array of dishes, Qin Che crushed the Eye of Insight in his hand, and instantly, a strange light emerged from his eyes, shining brightly.Full novel: I Opened A Hotel In The Thriller World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

"Babu—Babu, who grew up in a slaughterhouse, was accustomed to blood and violence, and viewed living Humans as nothing more than cattle and sheep on a chopping block.

Under the years of education from his parents, Babu's mind became twisted.

One night, he heard a cry coming from the basement and discovered that his family not only ran a slaughterhouse but also engaged in the business of harming Humans; his parents, his older brother, and even his younger sister were all insane murderers.

Babu knew that if these matters were revealed, cold bullets would be waiting for them.

To protect his Family, Babu raised a Hammer and swung a chainsaw, attempting to repel all external Threats.

However, his parents were still taken away by the Federation and sat in the electric chair, his older brother was hit and killed by the car of a vengeful victim's Family on the street, and his younger sister was brutally murdered.

Having lost everything, Babu could not accept the cruel reality, lost his mind, but dared not show his face, only able to live like a maggot in the dark Basement.

When the Federation arrived, only four faces with their skin peeled off remained in the Basement; as for Babu, no one knew where he had gone."

Hiss—

Babu... such a person deserves no sympathy, but setting aside everything and only discussing benefits, if one became his "Family," wouldn't their own safety also be guaranteed?

Qin Che took a deep breath, chose a family meal set for five people, and pushed the cart toward 0625.

...

Because it was mealtime, the corridor was quiet, and Qin Che nervously pushed the cart across the expensive carpet.

Ding-dong—

He rang the doorbell of 0625.

After a short while, the door opened a small crack, and Babu's dark eyes peeked out from the gap.

"It's you?" Babu's voice held a hint of surprise.

Qin Che said, "I knew you hadn't eaten yet, so I specially prepared some simple food." As he spoke, Qin Che lifted the silver-white covers off the dishes one by one, "I'll bring it in for you."

"Thank you." Babu's lips wriggled.

The room was very dark, and the curtains were all drawn shut, not letting a sliver of light in. The layout was excellent: a living room and a Bedroom, a very square two-bedroom, two-living room unit.

"Just put it over there," Babu pointed toward the Restaurant area.

Qin Che nodded, said nothing more, pushed the cart to the dining table, and without rushing to place the food on the table, first lit five candles.

As the orange-red candlelight ignited, Qin Che shuddered violently.

Four people were seated around the dining table; without exception, their faces were Scarlet muscle with the skin peeled off.

Qin Che forced a smile, then placed the meal from the cart onto the table one by one.

After finishing everything, Qin Che looked at Babu, smiled, and bowed: "I wish you and your Family a pleasant meal, Sir Babu."

After speaking, he pushed the cart out of room 0625.

One step,

Two steps,

Three steps,

"Favorability from Babu +5, +5, +5, +5... Current Favorability is 2 Stars."

"Player No. 0326, received 5 Super Surprise Reviews from Guests, please continue to work hard."

Five! Qin Che was ecstatic, assuming the reviews from those four skinned ghosts were also counted.

With that, his Points reached 32. As long as he continued to slack off until Get off work, his Work for the day was successfully completed.

Qin Che was delighted, and looking at the 50 Favorability points he had just extracted from Babu, he suddenly didn't know how to spend them. Upon closer inspection, he realized that these 50 Favorability points couldn't do anything at all.

The cheapest single draw required 1000 Favorability points.

However, if he included the 0.1x discount coupon for the Ten consecutive draws, the first Ten consecutive draws would only cost 100 Favorability points!

If he could gather 100 Favorability points before evening to pull a Ten consecutive draw, he even felt that Ms. Moxiya, who was lusting after him, could smoothly become the second fat sheep.

Still short 50 points; the road ahead is long and arduous.

Qin Che took a deep breath, looked around the Afterlife Hotel, humming a little tune, and slowly walked toward the Employee Restaurant!

With the Points goal met, he could slack off clearly and thoroughly.

By the time Qin Che returned to the Restaurant, the mealtime was almost over; only a few remaining Guests were slowly eating.

At that moment, the Black-clothed Steward walked over and looked coldly at Qin Che: "You're quite something."

"So-so," Qin Che said calmly, "How about it, can I go eat now?"

Hearing this, the Black-clothed Steward gritted his teeth: "Go serve that last table, serve the Guest well, and then you can eat."

As soon as the words fell, the last Guest who was still dining wiped his mouth with a hot towel and then got up to leave.

"Looks like I don't need to serve anyone anymore," Qin Che turned to look at the Black-clothed Steward's ashen face, "I'm going to eat now, okay? I can eat anything by just saying your name, right? By the way, what's your name?"

"Jack," the Black-clothed Steward gritted his teeth, Veins bulging on his Forehead, his hands tightly clenched.

If not for the employee regulations restraining them, he would really want to crush this damned bug!

Jack trembled with anger; he had been a Hotel Steward at the Afterlife Hotel for several years, and this was the first time he had encountered a Player like this.

"Alright, Jack," Qin Che rested his hands behind his head, smiling as he walked toward the Employee Restaurant.

The Employee Restaurant was large and excellently decorated. As soon as Qin Che walked in, he saw his old classmates; judging by their terrified expressions while queuing, the morning must have been quite rough on them.

Zhang Qiang, standing at the end of the line, noticed Qin Che and raised an eyebrow at him: "You're in this Instance too?"

His tone was terrible. Qin Che knew without thinking that this guy was looking for trouble. After taking a closer look, he realized that his right sleeve was empty, nothing inside.

"Alright Zhang Qiang, don't start a conflict," a companion nearby stopped him.

"Are we starting a conflict? We should greet a classmate properly, shouldn't we?" Zhang Qiang's tone grew colder when he saw that Qin Che was completely unharmed.

Before entering the Instance, he had mocked Qin Che, saying he would be the first to die. Now, only half a day later, Qin Che was fine, but he himself had lost an arm—how could he tolerate that?

Qin Che said nothing, just looked at Zhang Qiang with a calm expression.

"How many Points do you have?" Zhang Qiang snorted coldly.

"Not many," Qin Che was too lazy to bother with him, casually picking up a menu to look through it. It was no wonder the Afterlife Hotel was the biggest hotel in the Thriller World; the dishes on the menu were a dazzling array.

"I hope you can be so smooth sailing later on."

Pulled by his companion, Zhang Qiang ultimately said nothing more, leaving behind such a sentence before going to the next window to get his meal.

Qin Che shrugged, ignoring the person, but the food on the menu made him somewhat anxious.

If a whole cow were served to Qin Che right now, Qin Che felt he could devour the entire cow.

Just then, a girl with a tired, world-weary expression walked over holding a meal tray. On the tray was a plate of stinking rotten meat rice; the smell was pungent, the soup was greenish-yellow, and the only piece of meat had a patch of grayish-green mold growing on it.

Qin Che almost gagged again.

"Big Ruirui? You're eating this?" Qin Che asked.

Hu Ruirui's face turned pale, completely devoid of color; it seemed this girl was quite frightened.

"The Ghost Chef said this is all there is," Hu Ruirui looked up, her face wronged, she took a deep breath, adjusted her mood, and tried to force a smile, but found she couldn't manage one.

"How could that be?" Qin Che said in surprise, "Then go wait for me over there for a bit, I'll bring you something good to eat."

Hu Ruirui didn't mind; that Ghost Chef was terrifying. Trying to ask him for a slightly fresher meal almost got her bitten to death. She nodded gently, then walked alone to an empty spot in the Restaurant, her shoulders still trembling slightly, seemingly not yet recovered from the fright.

Before long, it was Qin Che's turn. The Ghost Chef was a burly man; he didn't even glance at Qin Che, tossing him a basin of moldy rotten meat rice.

"Change this for me," Qin Che said.

"This is all there is, eat it or don't," the Ghost Chef said without turning his head, "It's my Rest time now."

"I want one portion of braised pig trotters, one portion of lotus leaf roasted chicken, one portion of sour soup fatty beef, one portion of roast duck, one portion of Tomato and Egg Stir-fry, and two large bowls of rice," Qin Che said, looking at the menu.

"Do you believe I'll eat you!" The Ghost Chef turned around, his face ferocious, twisted as if splashed with sulfuric acid, opening his mouth to reveal sharp fangs, his terrifying appearance suggesting he wanted to bite Qin Che's head off in one go.

"Steward Jack said I can eat whatever I want," Qin Che added.

Qin Che chuckled secretly. If that Black-clothed Steward couldn't do much to him, what could a mere little Ghost Chef do?

Upon hearing Jack's name, the Ghost Chef became much more compliant, dropping a phrase, "Wait," and putting back on the apron he had just taken off to prepare the food.

Before long, an exquisite Lunch was ready; five dishes and two bowls of rice piled up the tray. He carried the tray and slowly walked toward the dining area, spotting Class monitor Hu Ruirui sitting alone in a corner spot.

"Slap—"

The tray was placed on the table.

"Eat some, I can't finish it alone," Qin Che said.

Hu Ruirui looked at the green-furred rotten meat rice in front of her, then looked longingly at the dishes in front of Qin Che, and drool instantly streamed from the corner of her mouth.

"Why is what you're eating different from what we're eating?" Hu Ruirui asked curiously, licking the corner of her mouth. A few seconds later, drool leaked out again.

Qin Che smiled: "No reason, I'm just too handsome."

Hu Ruirui nodded; many girls gave Qin Che snacks in middle school, and it seemed the same in the Thriller World. Then she asked again, "Can I really eat this? Your... your friend won't be unhappy, will he?"

"How could they be!" Qin Che said, secretly glancing at Jack standing in the distance. He saw Jack staring coldly at Qin Che; when their eyes met, Qin Che turned his gaze away.

"You eat first, I'll go get some more," saying that, Qin Che stood up, pushed the tray toward Hu Ruirui, and then walked back toward the serving area.

"Hello! I want another portion of braised pig trotters... never mind, one portion of roast lamb chops, one portion of Mao Xue Wang, one roast chicken... and then, Tomato and Egg Stir-fry, plus two more bowls of rice."

The Ghost Chef had just taken off his apron when Qin Che returned.

"Get lost!" the Ghost Chef said impatiently, "Are you eating a five-person meal by yourself?"

Qin Che lifted his head, saying matter-of-factly, "Jack said I can eat as much as I want. I'm just a huge eater, so what?"

"You're lying! You didn't eat it all! You gave it to others! Don't think I didn't see! How could you possibly eat that much by yourself!" The Chef's face turned red with anger as he looked toward the Black-clothed Steward standing in the distance.

Jack nodded helplessly.

The Chef Ghost cursed under his breath, put the apron he had just taken off back on, and said through gritted teeth: "Eat! Eat! Eat! I hope it chokes you to death!"
