His cock, freed from the confines of his pants, sprang out as though it had been waiting for this moment.

Already fully erect after being confined for so long, it slapped against Enoch’s abdomen as if announcing its arrival.

The sight of it snapped Sarah’s hazy mind sharply into focus.

The organ looming grotesquely before her was unsightly, like the sole blemish on Enoch’s otherwise perfect physique. Its head, pressed against his beautiful abdomen and ruining the view, bulged like the head of a vicious viper.

Its thick shaft, standing like a totem pole, looked harder than any part of a human body, more like an ancient, gnarled tree that had weathered thousands of years. Veins crawled over its surface like vines, making it seem almost like a living creature with a will of its own.

As if its shape weren’t unpleasant enough, its dark red color made it look even more unappealing.

“Slave.”

Enoch casually wrapped a hand around the unsightly shaft and pointed its heavy head toward her.

Then he playfully bobbed it up and down, as though playing with a doll, and chuckled.

“Let’s go to heaven together~.”

Sarah fled like a wild animal escaping a trap, wrapping herself tightly in the blanket as a shield.

“Why are you suddenly acting like this?”

Enoch, his own excitement cooling, grumbled in dissatisfaction.

Having secured a safe distance from him, Sarah shouted angrily from inside the blanket.

“I told you from the beginning I didn’t need it! I don’t want the reward!”

“But you still snuggled up in my arms.”

“It was cold!”

“And you didn’t move when I touched you.”

“That’s because…!”

I was captivated by you!

Sarah, who had been firing back without hesitation, swallowed the words, unable to bring herself to admit such a pathetic truth.

When Sarah suddenly fell silent, Enoch lifted his chin smugly, as if to say, See? I told you so.

“So your mouth says one thing, but your body is honest.”

“…”

“You even got a nosebleed because you liked it.”

“No! I was just a little surprised! What kind of pervert would enjoy something like this?!”

Having been made out to be the strange one, Sarah desperately defended herself again.

“But everyone else liked it. Emily, Rosa, Victoria, Prin, Diana, Jacqueline…”

“Stop! Stop! Do you think I actually asked because I wanted to know?!”

But Enoch, in an astonishingly casual tone, proceeded to shatter what remained of Sarah’s common sense.

“Fine, forget it. Forget it. You’re the one missing out, not me.”

With an utterly indifferent expression, Enoch irritably stuffed himself back into his pants.

Yet the same Enoch who had so readily told her to “forget it” pulled her into his arms, blanket and all, the very next moment.

“Excuse me? Didn’t you just say to ‘forget it’?”

“Yes, I did. So…”

Then why are you holding me?

Sarah drew a deep breath, intending to ask exactly that.

“Don’t I need to sleep too?”

Anticipating her question, Enoch beat her to it.

“I can’t sleep alone.”

I’m scared to sleep alone.

Enoch offered this explanation with an exaggerated shrug, burying his face against Sarah’s back.

“…”

What a load of nonsense. I’ve seen him snoring peacefully on top of corpses in the middle of a war, so where did this sudden fear of sleeping alone come from?

And if he really is that afraid of sleeping alone, Sarah should be the last person he wants beside him. Wouldn’t it be even more terrifying to hold a woman with the same face as the one he killed?

“So stop making a fuss and go to sleep.”

Before Sarah could find an argument, Enoch patted her chest, urging her to sleep. Then he pulled her tightly against him like a teddy bear and closed his eyes.

It wasn’t long before deep, rhythmic breathing sounded behind her. Yet the arms around her remained firm, making it impossible to tell whether he had truly fallen asleep or was merely lying there with his eyes closed.

As Sarah quietly observed him, the arms holding her gradually began to loosen.

Is he asleep?

Sensing her chance to escape, Sarah rolled sideways and slipped out of Enoch’s embrace. After rolling a few more times, she easily shed the blanket that had served as her armor and sprang to her feet.

That was nothing.

She had already resigned herself to wasting several hours, but escaping Enoch had been far easier than expected. Delighted that she could finally go find Leniss, she hurried to leave.

It had been too easy.

That was when Sarah should have grown suspicious. Even a renowned hero of the age wouldn’t fall asleep so carelessly. If only she had realized it sooner—

“Ack!”

—she might have avoided the misfortune of having her ankle seized and being dragged back.

Sarah lost her balance and crashed to the floor, landing hard on her knees.

Before she could even process the tear-inducing pain, she was dragged backward.

“Ugh, you really are a lot of work.”

A drowsy, irritated voice clicked its tongue. Annoyed by Sarah’s relentless attempts to escape, Enoch carelessly hauled her back to his side and swept his hair away from his face in frustration.

“Sleep.”

Without warning, he struck the side of her delicate neck with the edge of his hand.

An impossible sound burst from her body.

Ugh.

For an instant, dazzling white stars flashed before Sarah’s eyes. It felt as though her neck had snapped, yet strangely, there was no pain.

By the time her disrupted sense of balance returned, she was already lying on the floor. A moment later, she registered the dull thud she had heard.

Ah. I’m… passing out.

“……!”

Her deeply submerged consciousness surged to the surface in an instant.

“Hah!”

Sarah gasped as though someone had shaken her awake and jolted upright. A rumpled blanket and blinding sunlight filled her tilted field of vision.

Why is there sunlight in hell?

Staring blankly at the peaceful scene, so far removed from her usual existence, Sarah raised her eyes to the dust motes drifting through the air.

At that moment, the fragmented memories of the previous day snapped sharply into place.

“Leniss……!”

Remembering the person she needed to find above all else, Sarah sprang to her feet and dashed out of the room. Despite having only just awakened, her body felt light as a feather and brimming with energy.

Just as the day before, the desolate hallway, devoid of any sign of life, was flooded with dazzling sunlight.

It had been morning when she lost consciousness, and now it was morning again.

Realizing that she had been unconscious—not merely asleep—for an entire day, Sarah raced toward the stairs without hesitation.

Her hurried footsteps echoed throughout the all-wooden house as she descended.

“……?”

The sound of her steps reverberating off the walls caused the voices downstairs to fall abruptly silent, almost as if by mutual agreement.

Had Sarah paid even a little more attention, she might have noticed that someone was there. Unfortunately, her mind was consumed by all the time she had wasted, leaving her no room to look around as she rushed forward with single-minded urgency.

And so, when Sarah’s small feet landed on the first floor—

Every gaze, already aware of her presence, inevitably converged on her.

“……Enoch Soser.”

Only then did Sarah realize what she had done.

“Why is there an immune in this house?”

All her efforts to conceal herself beneath a cloak the day before had been rendered utterly pointless.

She had exposed herself for everyone to see.
