In the original disgrace of the royal family, Princess Evelyn was supposed to awaken her dragon powers today.
The King who showed up for the second princess’s debutante ball senses it and rushes to the forgotten villa where Princess Evelyn resides.
Not wanting to acknowledge Princess Evelyn but knowing that he has to after all the fuss he just caused, the King makes a show of “disciplining” the maids who he “thought” were doing a good job of taking care of her.
“Aren’t you angry Myrah.” Genevieve asked softly.
“What?” Myrah asked as she looked down in confusion.
“You were beaten every day because of me, don’t you want revenge?” Genevieve asked innocently.
“Revenge is a lofty dream your highness.” Myrah said with a dry chuckle.
“The top maids that the First Queen chose for you before she died where all top mages.
I couldn’t even scratch them much less get revenge.” Myrah said as she laughed again.
“What magic can you do?” Genevieve asked like a little child and Myrah chuckled at her cuteness.
“Yes, I guess you wouldn’t have seen me use them.” Myrah said as threads appeared from her hands.
“This is my magic.” Myrah said as she showed off her red threads.
“It’s only usefulness is for sewing, but it’s strong and hard so every cloth I mend doesn’t rip even if pulled.” Myrah said happily and Genevieve looked at her as if she were mad.
“How can this only be used for sewing?” Genevieve thought as she continued to look at Myrah like she had three heads.
“Forget it.” Genevieve thought with a sigh.
The friends or people close to Princess Evelyn were absurdly kind while the people who hated Princess Evelyn were absurdly vicious.
That’s just how the book goes.
“Myrah,” Genevieve called with a kind smile and Myrah straightened up immediately.
“What I am about to tell you now might seem crazy but if you choose not to help me, I wouldn’t know what to do.” Genevieve said pitifully with Princess Evelyn’s face and Myrah’s face fell.
“I will do whatever you ask me to do your highness, how can I ever ignore a command?” Myrah said anxiously as she dabbed Princess Evelyn’s face with her handkerchief and Genevieve smiled discreetly.
Moments later Myrah “Astria!” Myrah yelled as she ran to the top floor of the villa where Princess Evelyn was rightfully supposed to reside.
“Something is wrong with Princess Evelyn.” Myrah said as she dragged Beatrice’s limp body behind her.
“What is it?” Astria said lazily as she came out with two women with refined and beautiful appearances.
“The princess is acting strange!” Myrah yelled anxiously.
“She suddenly began breaking everything and Miss Beatrice was not enough to control her.” Myrah said as she pointed to the middle aged maid, Beatrice who was knocked out cold.
“Her awakening must be coming soon.” Astria said with a chuckle as she packed her long blonde hair into a bun.
“The power of the dragon was always too pronounced in her.” Sally said as she wore her brass knuckles.
“It will be nice to teach her a lesson so she doesn’t forget her place and cause a ruckus for the royal family.” Gwenda said with glowing eyes as the three of them surged forward to torture a little girl Princess Evelyn Genevieve ran as fast as she could with Princess Evelyn’s small feet.
“Faster.” Genevieve whispered.
“They could be on to you any minute now.” Genevieve whispered as she ran into a long hallway but before she could take the bend out of the hallway, Astria, Gwenda and Sally appeared.
With her heart almost beating out of her chest, Genevieve staggered backwards.
“Where did you think you were going princess?” Astria asked with a smile as she stepped closer to the trembling child who kept staggering backwards.
“Are you perchance running over to your family who is having a nice time at the second princess’s debutante ball?” Gwenda said and as her eyes glowed, Genevieve saw her worst nightmares came to life.
“Stop!” Genevieve yelled as she clutched her head in pain.
“Please stop!” Genevieve yelled as silent tears dropped down her eyes.
“Stop?” Gwenda said with a grin as she stepped closer to Princess Evelyn.
“All this wouldn’t have happened if you stayed put.” Sally said as she knocked the air out of Princess Evelyn with her brass knuckles.
