“Beep, beep, beep…”

The signal suddenly cut off. She tried several different positions, but there was still no reception. Only then did she give up.

She then remembered that, according to the novel, the original owner’s parents and older brother had all managed to survive for quite a long time after the apocalypse began. With that thought, she stopped worrying.Full novel: I Transmigrated into the Apocalypse as the Villainous Female Supporting Character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She took out several packets of crispy instant noodles and started munching on them.

She thought about scrolling through her phone for a while, but then remembered that there was no internet or signal.

She then decided to test her ability again.

It was still just a tiny twig. Nothing had changed at all.

Only then did she remember that, in the novel, the original owner had initially been rather weak and delicate. Although her wood-type ability had little offensive power, she always did her best to use it to heal injured teammates.

She had also continued growing stronger over time. Although she was somewhat willful and spoiled, she still fought desperately against zombies with a long stick and never became a burden to her teammates.

Sighing, Song Chuxia looked at the tiny sapling with some disdain.

It seemed she would have to kill more zombies from now on to obtain more crystals and strengthen herself. That way, when she eventually faced the protagonist group, she would at least have the strength to put up a fight.

She wasn’t sure whether it was because she hadn’t adjusted to her new body after transmigrating or because her nerves were too tense, but she ended up suffering from insomnia.

After tossing and turning for a long time without being able to fall asleep, she decided to get up and organize her space.

She had never realized how messy it was until she took a proper look.

It was an absolute disaster!

Using her mental power, she first arranged the beds and shelves in order. She organized everything into separate sections: food shelves, clothing and hat racks, and shelves for daily necessities.

Once everything was arranged, she looked around with satisfaction.

Not bad! She actually had quite a lot of supplies. She could easily survive for three months without going hungry.

Feeling completely satisfied, she finally drifted off to sleep.

“Ahhh!”

A piercing scream suddenly jolted Song Chuxia awake.

She listened blankly to the noises outside and couldn’t help complaining inwardly.

Why are people wandering around outside in the middle of the night instead of sleeping? Nighttime is for humans to sleep. It’s not like zombies need any sleep!

The growling outside continued without a break. Eventually, after some time, the noises gradually faded.

Song Chuxia slept until ten o’clock the following morning.

After getting out of bed and washing up, she ate something before putting all her belongings back into her space.

She carefully listened to the sounds outside before opening the door. Then she went to the various dormitories to retrieve the power banks and desk lamps she had left charging the previous day.

After taking care of everything, Song Chuxia resumed collecting supplies.

When she reached the entrance of the dormitory building, she discovered that there were considerably more bodies than the day before.

She felt somewhat uncomfortable at the sight, but quickly comforted herself.

I’ll get used to it eventually.

She also wondered when she would be able to return home. If she died here, would she be able to go back?

“Help me!”

A sharp cry for help interrupted Song Chuxia’s thoughts.

She hid around the corner and saw a young man and a young woman being chased by a group of zombies. They seemed to be trying to reach the dormitory building for shelter, but before they could get there, the zombies caught up with them.

At the critical moment, the girl suddenly shoved the young man into the group of zombies.

She only heard the young man let out a scream before his voice abruptly disappeared.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the girl ran toward the dormitory building.

Song Chuxia stopped watching the scene and climbed out through the balcony of a first-floor dormitory.

When she looked up, she discovered that it was actually the parcel collection station!

She had searched everywhere for it, only to find it without any effort at all. She couldn’t help feeling secretly delighted.

After checking her surroundings, she quickly entered the parcel station.

Once she confirmed that there were no people or zombies inside, she began collecting everything.

Everything!

She even took the shelves.

After finishing, she suddenly remembered that there was a fruit shop next to the parcel station. She decided to check her luck there as well.

When she entered the fruit shop, she discovered that the situation was even better than she had expected. All the fruits were still intact and had not been damaged.

She immediately collected everything.

Then she opened the storeroom and collected everything inside as well, including the fruit-cutting knives and other utensils.

Just as she was about to leave the fruit shop, she heard a series of footsteps accompanied by zombie growls.

She hurried into the storeroom, closed the door, and hid.

She couldn’t help thinking to herself:

Why haven’t all the people at this school left yet? It’s already been a whole day. Why are there still so many people here?

After waiting for quite a while, she finally crept out of the storeroom.

There were no zombies outside anymore.

She resumed searching the dormitories.

Suddenly, a shadow fell from the balcony. Immediately afterward, several more dark figures dropped from above.

Curious, Song Chuxia walked over to the balcony and looked down.

Only then did she realize that someone had probably jumped from the building while being chased by zombies. The zombies behind them had followed the person’s scent and jumped down as well.

Even after breaking their legs and arms from the fall, the zombies refused to give up. They continued crawling toward the person lying nearby, whose entire body was covered in blood from the impact.

Song Chuxia didn’t look any further and continued searching for supplies.

However, after going downstairs, she used her baseball bat to smash the zombies’ heads. When she found no crystals, she simply left.

With uninterrupted determination, she finally managed to search almost the entire dormitory building.

By then, the sky was getting dark.

Song Chuxia chose another clean dormitory. She blocked the door with a bed, covered the balcony door with a quilt, washed up, changed into her pajamas, and prepared to eat.

Since she had just raided the fruit shop, she happily opened a durian. She also took out a packet of spicy Korean fire noodles and cooked it in a small electric pot.

She had found the little electric pot in one of the dormitories. When she first saw it, she had been rather surprised.

How come the dormitory supervisor hadn’t confiscated this pot?

After finishing her meal, Song Chuxia began organizing the supplies in her space.

First, she took all the parcels off the shelves and placed them in an open area inside her space.

Then she moved all the shelves to the northwest corner and arranged them neatly in rows.

After that, she took out some of the parcels, grabbed a utility knife, and began opening them one by one.

Snacks, biscuits, snowflake crisps, milk candies…

Chocolate!

This chocolate was actually her favorite kind!

Contact lenses, contact lens solution, shoes, clothes…

Song Chuxia continued opening parcels until well past midnight.

Fortunately, since everything was inside her space, she could use her mental power to sort and distribute the supplies.

She divided the shelves into several categories:

She carefully sorted all the items and arranged them on the appropriate shelves.

As for the shoes, clothes, contact lenses, and other things that weren’t suitable for her, she placed them in several boxes and stored them in a corner.

Before long, all the shelves were completely filled.

Finally, she discovered several small generators and small solar-powered generators sitting in the corner.

Looking at these generators, along with the one she had previously found in a dormitory, she guessed that their owners must have been fellow students.

After finishing the arrangements, Song Chuxia opened a can of herbal dessert soup and added some freshly cut mango pieces.

She ate it happily.

Although she could still hear zombies growling outside, the noise didn’t affect her sleep at all.

When she woke up, it was already past ten in the morning.

Song Chuxia sat there in a daze for a moment.

For an instant, she thought that staying here forever wouldn’t be so bad.

But once she came back to her senses, she couldn’t help mocking herself.

Forget staying here forever. I’d starve to death eventually. Even with plenty of food, I’d probably go crazy from being cooped up here all the time.

After sitting quietly for a while, she ate some bread and eight-treasure porridge before beginning to pack her things and prepare to leave the dormitory.

She had originally planned to visit the school supermarket, but then she remembered that the male and female leads were there.

After thinking it over, she decided to leave the school instead.

She climbed over the school wall, took out her bicycle, and rode away.

From a distance, she could see the school entrance.

As expected, there were numerous zombies gathered outside.

Song Chuxia couldn’t help congratulating herself on her own cleverness.

I’m really smart!

“Screech!”

Suddenly, she spotted a pharmacy and immediately slammed on the brakes.
