There were no humans or other zombies inside the pharmacy. The only ones there were two pharmacy employees who had turned into zombies.

They had originally been quietly staying behind the medicine counter, but after hearing Song Chuxia’s movements, they became ferocious and started clawing at the counter, trying to climb over it.

Song Chuxia took out her baseball bat and immediately smashed one zombie’s head, followed by the other’s.Full novel: I Transmigrated into the Apocalypse as the Villainous Female Supporting Character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Both zombies collapsed to the ground.

It seemed there hadn’t been anyone else inside the pharmacy at the time. The place was very clean, with no signs of fighting.

She began collecting the medicines, directly storing all the shelves in her space. Then she found the storeroom and collected all the medicines inside as well.

After finishing, she approached the two zombies lying beside the counter.

Carefully, she put on gloves and wore a thick, long-sleeved jacket. She dragged the two zombies to one side, then put on another pair of gloves.

She found the counter rather unpleasant, so she collected all the medicines inside it and left the counter behind.

She threw away her gloves and the jacket she had been wearing. Then she walked to the entrance and looked around.

A few zombies were wandering nearby.

Earlier, she had noticed that there was a beauty and cosmetics store next to the pharmacy. It contained daily necessities, toiletries, and other supplies, so she planned to collect things from there.

She waited for quite a while, but the zombies were still wandering around.

She was just thinking about quietly opening the door and making her way to the cosmetics store when something unexpected happened.

The few zombies suddenly started moving and ran toward a distant location.

Song Chuxia quickly made her way to the cosmetics store.

Although there were no zombies inside, the shelves had already been knocked over and were lying in disarray.

It seemed that the situation had been extremely chaotic at the time. Everyone must have fled in a panic, which explained the mess.

Song Chuxia didn’t bother worrying about it. She directly collected the shelves and everything on them into her space.

Then she went upstairs.

As usual, she carefully surveyed her surroundings and noticed several boys and girls hiding behind the shelves in a corner.

“How did you get up here?” one of the boys asked when he saw Song Chuxia.

“I walked up.”

Boy:

“We… We wanted to ask whether there are no zombies outside anymore?” a timid girl asked nervously.

“There are no zombies outside. That’s why I came here,” Song Chuxia replied without thinking.

“Really? Are there no zombies outside anymore?” the girl asked excitedly.

The people around her had initially looked extremely tense, but their expressions gradually relaxed.

“No. There are still zombies outside. There just weren’t any at the store entrance when I arrived,” Song Chuxia said firmly.

“Ah, then what are we supposed to do? There’s no phone signal either,” another girl said despairingly.

Song Chuxia wanted them to leave as soon as possible.

“How long are you planning to stay here?”

“We don’t know either. We want to stay here and wait for rescue.” The timid girl choked back her tears.

“Oh.”

Song Chuxia thought about it. She wasn’t particularly short of supplies at the moment, but she decided it was better to leave first.

After all, collecting supplies was the most important thing right now. She didn’t have time to waste here.

She had just taken a step toward the exit when someone called out.

“Wait! Classmate, could you help us? Could you take us somewhere safe?”

Hearing this, Song Chuxia couldn’t help finding the request amusing.

“Somewhere safe? Where exactly is safe?”

“I… I have money. If you take us somewhere safe, I’ll give you 200,000 yuan,” the girl offered hesitantly.

Song Chuxia ignored them and continued walking.

“300,000!”

Another boy wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt raised his voice when he saw that Song Chuxia remained unmoved.

“Why don’t you shout a little louder? That way, you can attract all the zombies here,” Song Chuxia said irritably, giving him a glance.

The boy’s face immediately turned pale.

“…400,000! You can name your price!”

Seeing Song Chuxia heading downstairs without even looking back, the girl anxiously chased her to the stairwell, repeatedly raising her offer.

“Stop asking her. Just follow her!”

A boy wearing a white shirt hurried after Song Chuxia and spoke urgently.

The others inside the room quickly followed him.

Song Chuxia turned around and saw a whole line of people standing on the stairs behind her. She couldn’t help laughing in disbelief.

“What? Have you all stuck yourselves to me?”

“Don’t follow me. If the zombies discover you, I’m not responsible for what happens,” Song Chuxia said coldly.

“Classmate, please help us! As the saying goes, saving one life is better than building a seven-story pagoda,” pleaded a girl wearing a pink dress.

“That’s right! Please help us!”

“Are you sure about this? I’m just one girl.”

Song Chuxia pointed at herself, then glanced at the boys and girls standing behind her.

“You… are a whole group of people.”

“She does have a point. How can she possibly protect all of us?” A boy wearing a hat felt that Song Chuxia’s reasoning made sense.

“Let’s go back and hide. The police will definitely come and rescue us,” said a girl wearing a bow-shaped hair accessory.

“I don’t think anyone is coming to save us. There are zombies everywhere now,” a boy wearing a white T-shirt analyzed calmly.

“I don’t want to turn into a zombie!”

Several girls began sobbing softly.

Song Chuxia didn’t want to stay there any longer. She lifted her leg and prepared to leave.

“Classmate, where are you going?”

It was the same boy in the white shirt. Seeing that Song Chuxia was about to leave, he hurried forward and asked.

“Get upstairs! The zombies are coming!”

Before Song Chuxia could answer, she heard growling in the distance. The sounds were getting closer and closer.

Everyone on the stairs immediately rushed upstairs.

The boy grabbed Song Chuxia and pulled her along with him.

Song Chuxia:

He pulled her into the innermost part of the shelves and positioned himself so that she was tucked behind him.

“Stay here and don’t move.”

The boy’s low, husky voice sounded beside her ear. He spoke very softly, so softly that only she could hear him.

Song Chuxia thought to herself:

Oh my goodness! What should I do? His voice is so nice, and he makes me feel so safe. My protective instincts are about to go into overdrive! What am I supposed to do?

Now that she thought about it, he was actually quite handsome. He had fair, clean features and a sunny appearance.

“Have they come upstairs?” the girl wearing the bow-shaped hair accessory whispered to the person beside her.

Hearing the voice, Song Chuxia snapped back to her senses and scolded herself inwardly.

Hey! Wait a minute! We’re trying to escape for our lives here. Stop thinking about other things!

The person beside the girl shook his head and gestured with his hand, signaling her to remain quiet.

Song Chuxia carefully listened to the sounds outside.

She gently tugged at the hem of the white-shirted boy’s clothes and pointed at herself, indicating that she wanted to go outside.

However, the boy looked at her and shook his head, signaling that he didn’t agree.

Song Chuxia felt rather helpless.

After quite some time, the zombies still hadn’t come upstairs, but their growling could still be heard.

She guessed that they were probably gathered near the entrance and hadn’t left yet.

“I’m hungry,” a girl whispered.

“I’m hungry too. We haven’t had anything to eat or drink for two days and one night,” the boy in the white T-shirt said.

“You’ve all been staying here for the past two days?” Song Chuxia asked.

“…No, I only arrived yesterday afternoon,” the boy beside her replied.

“What is the situation outside now?” another boy asked.

“There are zombies everywhere. The students at the school who haven’t turned into zombies have probably either found a way to escape or hidden somewhere else.”

“Ye Feng, what are your plans? Are you still going to look for her?” another boy wearing a hat asked.

So this boy is called Ye Feng?
