Song Chuxia carefully recalled the descriptions in the book.

Ye Feng was the student council president. He had always liked the female lead. Because of the “credit” Su Qianqian had taken for herself, Ye Feng disliked Song Chuxia immensely. Although he had never harmed the original owner, he had always treated her coldly and indifferently. Whenever she was bullied, he simply turned a blind eye and refused to help.

He was probably out looking for the female lead, Su Qianqian, right now.Full novel: I Transmigrated into the Apocalypse as the Villainous Female Supporting Character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Song Chuxia had actually liked him before, but now all she felt was disgust. What an unpleasant man, she cursed inwardly.

“Move aside. I want to go out and take a look.” Although Song Chuxia disliked him, she still spoke politely.

Ye Feng hesitated for a moment before stepping aside.

As soon as Song Chuxia reached the window, she saw all the zombies at the entrance rushing toward the intersection.

“The zombies are leaving!”

The others immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

“I’m leaving.” Song Chuxia gave them a brief farewell before heading downstairs.

“Let’s leave too and find something to eat. Otherwise, we’ll starve to death before the zombies even get a chance to bite us,” the boy in the white T-shirt said.

Although the others did not say anything at first, they were all thirsty and hungry. They immediately agreed in unison.

“Yeah, okay.”

The group followed Song Chuxia out of the cosmetics store.

“Hey, there’s a convenience store over there. Let’s go there,” the girl wearing a bow-shaped hair accessory suggested.

“That’s great! I’m practically starving to death,” said the girl in the pink dress.

“Let’s hurry,” the boy wearing a hat urged.

“Aren’t you coming with us?” Ye Feng asked when he saw Song Chuxia heading in the opposite direction.

“No. I need to find someone,” Song Chuxia replied, casually making up an excuse.

“Who are you looking for? I happen to be looking for someone too. Why don’t we go together? It’s better to have more people,” Ye Feng suggested.

“No, I’d rather go alone. I’m leaving.”

Song Chuxia refused.

She thought to herself, I finally managed to get away from the male and female leads, and now you want me to go back with you? Wouldn’t that just be asking for trouble?

She could not help sighing inwardly.

As expected of the female lead. No matter when it is, there’s always someone who cares so much about her.

Song Chuxia decided to find somewhere to hide for a while and return to the cosmetics store after they had left.

She watched as they gradually disappeared into the distance. Once they were gone, she returned to the cosmetics store, hurried upstairs, and stored everything away. Then she went to the storeroom and collected everything there too.

Ah, Song Chuxia looked at the space packed full of daily necessities and felt thoroughly pleased with herself.

There was a commercial street nearby. She would go and see if there were any supplies worth collecting.

The Good Taste Duck Neck Shop was a nationwide chain. It was the original owner’s favorite duck neck shop, so Song Chuxia decided to go inside and take a look. She wondered whether the shop had lost power.

After entering, she found the place remarkably clean. There were no signs of fighting, and the freezers were still running. They must have had their own generator.

Sure enough, after looking around for a while, she found the generator.

She then stored everything in the shop inside her space.

Song Chuxia looked at the deserted street. Although it was in complete disarray, with ruins and debris scattered everywhere and dried bloodstains on the ground, something seemed strange.

Why weren’t there any zombies?

She decided not to worry about it for now. She would collect supplies from the surrounding clothing stores first. While everyone was still caught off guard, she could gather as much as possible.

As soon as she opened the door and entered a women’s clothing store, a zombie lunged straight at her.

Song Chuxia immediately recognized her. She was the shop owner.

Song Chuxia quickly dodged, retreated outside, and shut the glass door. Looking through it, she saw that the store was in complete disarray. Bloodstains were everywhere, and new clothes lay scattered across the floor, covered in footprints and blood.

Song Chuxia guessed that the reason no one was around was probably because everyone had either fled home or gone looking for food. As for why there were no zombies on the street, some might have been trapped inside buildings, while those outside had probably gone off in pursuit of prey.

But something did not add up.

There had clearly been so many signs of fighting in that store. Why was there only one zombie trapped inside?

Song Chuxia curiously examined the area.

Oh no! There was another door on the side of the store. The zombies had probably escaped through that entrance.

Song Chuxia rode her bicycle around and visited several women’s clothing stores with their doors still open. She picked out clothes that suited her taste, including sweaters, skirts, jeans, and tops, then collected everything along with the hangers.

She also visited several shoe stores. Avoiding the bloodstains, she selected shoes that suited her, including sneakers, canvas shoes, slippers, and sandals.

She also prepared plenty of clothes and shoes for her older brother and father. Naturally, she picked out a good number of outfits for her mother as well.

When she reached a branded lingerie store, she collected everything.

At an accessories shop, she gathered hair accessories, hair ties, hair clips, headbands, hats, umbrellas, bags, and small plush toys. She casually selected the things she liked and stored them all away.

Looking at the little accessories filling her space, Song Chuxia felt that she had collected enough to last her a lifetime. Only then did she finally stop.

Song Chuxia spotted a nationwide chain dessert shop in the distance and thought about going to take a look.

However, the door was locked from the inside. She guessed that someone was hiding in there. There were also bloody scratches on the outside of the door. Someone had probably been calling for help at the time, attracting the zombies’ attention, but no one inside had opened the door.

Song Chuxia turned and left.

She had already noticed two zombies trapped inside a snack shop.

She took out a stainless steel rod. She had found it earlier in the clothing store, which seemed to have been recently renovated. Several stainless steel rods had been left stacked in a corner.

She walked over to the snack shop. The two zombies had already spotted her and were pressed against the door, baring their teeth and clawing at her.

She suddenly opened the door. She had intended to smash their heads with the metal rod, but before she could do so, the two zombies lost their balance from the momentum and tumbled down the steps outside.

Song Chuxia seized the opportunity, picked up a brick, and brought it down hard on the backs of their heads.

Bang! Bang!

The two zombies’ heads were smashed open. They lay motionless on the ground.

“Ah, bricks really are the best!” Song Chuxia muttered to herself.

She took a long tree branch and stirred around inside their heads. To her surprise, she discovered that both zombies had crystals.

Song Chuxia put on a pair of gloves and picked up the crystals. She then took out a bottle of water, rinsed them clean, and placed them in a box inside her space.

After that, she entered the snack shop and collected all the untouched snacks. She also went into the storeroom and stored all the supplies there.

It was getting dark, and Song Chuxia thought she should find somewhere to spend the night.

She opened the door, got on her bicycle, and noticed a large group of zombies at the intersection attacking several people.

Song Chuxia quickly changed direction and pedaled as hard as she could, putting more and more distance between herself and the zombies.

This vehicle is pretty good!

Song Chuxia had obtained her driver’s license before, but she had never driven after passing the test. Seeing the off-road vehicle reminded her that she could drive in the future.

But…

“I don’t have the key. I can’t even unlock the car!” Song Chuxia muttered to herself.

“Why is this different from what the book said? When the male and female leads were escaping, didn’t they just find a car and drive away? Why can’t I even open this one?”

“Could it be that I have to smash the window? But then… how am I supposed to keep the zombies out?”

“Ah, forget it. I’ll just collect the whole thing first.”

After storing the vehicle in her space, Song Chuxia thought it over for a long time. In the end, she decided to return to her university dormitory and spend the night there.

Riding her bicycle, Song Chuxia did not dare to enter through the main gate. Instead, she took the familiar route she had used before: climbing over the university wall.
