“Honey, look, our son.” The Great Master didn’t seem to realize yet that Tu Shihua had become Wei Jing. With a gentle expression, he patted the little dragon’s head, his deep, resonant voice sounding particularly elegant and charming.

While Wei Jing was utterly captivated by the Great Master’s striking looks, he secretly wept inside: If only he had swapped the personalities of the Great Master Qin and Tu Shihua when he wrote this ridiculous story, wouldn’t he now have the perfect version of himself?

But there was no use crying over spilled milk.Full novel: I, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Raising Babies Online [Transmigrated Into A Novel] — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He sniffled sadly and looked at the Great Master with mixed emotions. “I’m not your wife.” I’m your dad.

The moment the Great Master heard this, his expression changed instantly. One second, his demeanor was as warm as the winter sun; the next, it turned as gloomy as a thunderstorm, the atmosphere growing dark and oppressive.

Wei Jing watched the transformation unfold before his eyes. Dark dragon scales emerged from the Great Master’s otherwise healthy skin, and the color of his pupils gradually lightened, giving him a sharp, formidable edge. The aura emanating from him was especially terrifying, creating an illusion that made Wei Jing feel as if he could barely stand steady. Even breathing became an incredibly arduous task.

“What did you say?” the Great Master asked, his expression cold and his voice ominous.

“I, I…” Wei Jing stammered, unable to form a complete sentence.

【System Reminder: The target’s rage is about to reach a critical point. Please appease the target immediately; otherwise, the self-destruct mechanism will be activated!】

A gentle female voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

What the heck is this?

Wei Jing blinked in surprise. …A system?

Well, he had already transmigrated into the pseudo-ridiculous flop novel he wrote himself. Having a system appear on top of that didn’t seem like such an unacceptable thing. But—

Sister System, at least tell me how to appease the target?

【Please appease the target immediately; otherwise, the self-destruct mechanism will be activated!】 The gentle female voice repeated, showing just how unaccommodating this system was.

Wei Jing blurted out whatever came to mind, panicking like crazy. “I, I’m just too happy! Haha, our son, right? Let me see, wow, so adorable!”

Anyone with eyes could tell he was lying, yet the Great Master Qin didn’t doubt it for a second. His expression immediately shifted from gloomy to partly cloudy. “You hold him.”

Wei Jing’s heart was filled with resistance. He had never liked any animal without fur.

What did this little dragon even look like?

It was basically identical to the little Charmander from Pokémon, a small, orange-red creature with a round head, big, watery eyes, and two tiny, sharp fangs visible in its open mouth. The only difference was that there wasn’t a flame on its tail.

Wei Jing shifted his blank stare from the little dragon to the Great Master Qin’s face and began to reflect in silence: So when he originally wrote the character settings, had he really left out the Great Master’s intelligence?

How could this guy possibly think this little dragon was his offspring? They didn’t look anything alike!

“Honey, you don’t want to?” The Great Master’s expression darkened again when he saw Wei Jing’s dumbfounded look.

Wei Jing quickly denied it. “N-No, that’s not it! It’s just… this is my first time holding a baby. I don’t even know where to start. Ha, ahaha…”

Even Wei Jing himself found this lie hard to swallow, but—

The Great Master believed him. Not only did he buy this nonsense, but he also took on a serious, careful demeanor as he taught Wei Jing how to hold their “son.”

“Mm, it’s always like this the first time. Stretch out your hands and keep your fingers a little closer together. No need to spread them so wide. Yes, now support his little bottom with one hand…”

“Oh… okay.”

Wei Jing nodded, his scalp tingling. If he hadn’t just witnessed the Great Master’s instant mood swing, he might have actually been fooled by that gentle voice into thinking the man was warm and caring.

The little dragon was tiny, about the size of a six- or seven-pound house cat. But the moment the Great Master let go and entrusted his “son” entirely to Wei Jing, he felt the full weight of the world’s malice toward him.

So heavy!!!

This thing had to be at least seventy or eighty pounds, right?

When someone suddenly has a seventy- or eighty-pound creature dumped into their arms without any warning, what’s their first reaction?

Wei Jing didn’t know what anyone else would do, but his instinct was to throw the little dragon away…

Yes, he threw it.

But the little thing was so heavy it didn’t go far at all. It dropped straight down and hit the floor with a dull thud.

The atmosphere grew awkward.

The Great Master Qin, whose expression had just brightened, darkened again. He looked down at Wei Jing with an unfriendly gaze, as if sizing up a disobedient ant.

Wei Jing’s legs trembled uncontrollably. What sin had he committed for heaven to punish him like this?

He wanted to go home! He couldn’t stand this ridiculous, unscientific world for one more minute.

“Honey, why did you throw our son on the ground?” the Great Master asked in a sinister tone.

Wei Jing quickly glanced down at the little dragon, who was sitting dumbfounded on the floor as if still processing what had just happened. He hurriedly bent over and, with great effort, picked the little thing back up, panting heavily.

This body was truly too frail.

“My hand slipped,” he explained cautiously, keeping his head down. “I didn’t mean it. Really.”

The Great Master was silent for a few seconds, his sharp, almost tangible gaze sweeping over Wei Jing a couple of times before he responded with a faint “Mm.”

Wei Jing opened his mouth, but no sound came out. “……”

His only thought now was how utterly screwed he was. Transmigrating into a ridiculous story he’d written and becoming the wife of a major villain, the original owner of this body was a walking disaster. Aside from a decent face, he hadn’t done a single sensible thing and had made a ton of enemies. It was practically a death sentence.

And to make it worse, such an extreme and absurd character was his own creation.

What a disaster.

“The sun is nice outside today. Take our son to the garden later to get some sun,” the Great Master said, clearly in a better mood now that Wei Jing was standing quietly without causing any trouble. “But remember, don’t go out casually. You’ve made too many enemies, and your strength is too low. Once you leave the protective barrier around the courtyard, you’ll be an easy target.”

“……Okay.” Wei Jing nodded, tears in his eyes. As one of only two Tyrannosaurus rex characters in the book, Tu Shihua was the weakest T-rex in history, an utter disgrace to his kind!

In Wei Jing’s original setting, this was a modern world where ancient martial arts and magic coexisted. The Great Master Qin, the supreme powerhouse with the highest combat ability, had a T-rex as his original form. He usually stayed in human form but could transform into his original form during battle, which exponentially increased his combat power.

Tu Shihua, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. He was a true weakling of a T-rex, capable of maintaining his original form for no more than three seconds at most!

He was the kind of pushover who, once separated from the Great Master’s protection, could be bullied by even a third-rate human martial artist.

A delicate little sissy whose arms trembled from holding something that weighed just seventy or eighty pounds!

How disgusting. What should he do?
