"To My Beloved Family
To my step-father, step-mother, my three step-brothers, and to the true younger sister, Stella—thank you.
Thank you for raising me, Spica, with kindness and love until I reached eighteen.
The time I spent as part of your family is my most precious treasure.
It pains me deeply, but I have nothing with which to repay the love and grace you have given me except myself.
So, of my own will, I ask to repay you in the only way I can.
First, to my step-father, the head of the house, and to Cain, the heir—
Please grant me the role of Maiden of the Barrier. It may seem selfish, but I only wish to help you both as the strength of the present head begins to fade.
Next, to my step-mother—
Because you always praised me, I designed several dresses and jewels with you in mind. You may not like them, but if you ever recall them when you commission new work, it would make me happy. Also, I asked the head chef and Marisa, the head maid, to prepare a special tea blend for you. Please drink it whenever you feel unwell.
To my elder step-brother Alex—
I give you my Mystic Eye. Forgive me for not offering it sooner. But now, you can see the world through my eyes, and I won't feel lonely anymore.
To my elder step-brother Fret—
Because you always praised my poor crafts, I leave you the tassel for your sword and my sacred stone.
And finally—
To my younger step-sister Stella—
You are my dearest family. I return to you the true family that was never mine to claim. I am so sorry.
