After I was summoned, I saw a beastman and his wife. They asked for the couple to be able to have children, and then they asked for provisions and a little bit of money. Well, what did I expect? Beastmen are half-animal, so they are simpler. It was a bit different from the usual, but not by much.

I returned inside the lamp. It seems they are going to leave the artifact at a magic thrift store. Those who manufacture these items only have to worry about the cost of manufacturing, so many people who find them or simply have spare items put them in a place like this for others to use. Logically, the people who run these magic thrift stores are absurdly wealthy. They own so many magic items that they end up treating them as common things.

One might think that in a place like this, a magic lamp would be rare, but there are so many there that it reaches an absurd point: there are exactly eight lamps. Although most of them are corrupted and all of them contain only higher spirits, many people have no interest in using them because of the risk. Without someone to guarantee that it is safe, those who use them without knowing are usually desperate or on the verge of death.

Take the merchant as an example, the first person whose wish I granted: just the fact that I didn't do anything bad already amazed him. Or Leo, for example, who was in a horrible situation. Basically, no one without the proper information would risk it. That's why they leave them in a place like this; although they can no longer use them, at least they make some good money, and specialists evaluate whether they are safe or not. If they aren't safe, they are taken to a museum, or if there is a light mage who knows how to use blessings, they purify them. After all, even if the genie is no longer sane, at least the lamp will force it to follow the rules for a while.

Since my lamp was working perfectly, of course they made a lot of money from it. I stayed inside waiting for the next person. Well, that will take a little while, but at least I gain some time. Not everyone has the money to buy a lamp, and nobles usually already get everything they want with gold.

So, I kept thinking about various things. I wonder if I will still be trapped when the meeting to decide the next hero takes place. Well, I have time. The gods gather to decide certain important matters that cannot be resolved alone. Usually, a fight breaks out between Lucia and Trevor; seriously, they always argue at this meeting. And yes, there are other gods who have a certain rivalry, like the old Miria and the goddess of water, Cintia. They used to fight a lot. Who would have thought that fire and water wouldn't get along? Come to think of it, there is a certain balance in it, like Earth and Air, who are also always in conflict.

In fact, the old Miria's feeling of inferiority started because Cintia said she was the weakest goddess and depended too much on others. I remember Miria crying for a long time, and the god of earth, Gaby, who always spoiled Miria, simply provoked Cintia by saying she wasn't much different. Seriously, what kind of help is that? It's logical that both of them got angry and a fight broke out among the three. In terms of physical strength, Gaby is the strongest, but in terms of who is the most powerful among everyone, I would say it's somewhere between Lucia and Trevor. A long time ago, they already mastered the magic of will and even created angels so that others wouldn't reach that level. Any living being that comes close to that level is locked away forever. Of course, in the case of the other gods, if they are freed, they can rest easy; it's just a temporary punishment.

All of this shows how much the old Miria felt inferior for not having much control or even physical strength. And, of course, Cintia also ended up trapped in a magic lamp. She thought herself so superior that when she saw Miria practicing control to manifest sacred mana, she decided to do the same. But in the end, in the divine realm, they always helped each other; it was truly a typical sibling rivalry.

Well, I also keep thinking about my life as Alex. Although I only remember things up to my 18th year, I remember there was a girl I liked. Now, understanding the feminine side a bit more, I realize that she liked me too. Unfortunately, I don't know how that story ended.

Women usually give hints, things that men often don't notice. Today, I notice many of her hints, like when she asked me if I wanted to help her do her homework—and I, being a total idiot, just sent a photo of the completed homework. Seriously, how dense was I. She even asked me once what it was like to kiss a man; yes, I didn't understand that she was talking about herself and answered in all innocence that I didn't know since I liked women. Damn, now that I am a woman I understand much more, because I had time to reflect on it and I obtained the memories of the goddess, who was totally romantic and loved to watch the romances of mortals. In other words, if there is anyone who understands this, it's the goddess of fire. Well, I accepted myself as a goddess some time ago... will I start considering the other gods as real brothers and sisters?

I see that the memories are affecting me to the point that there are not many differences between me and her, but is it really that much? It is not easy to assimilate billions of years. And yes, there are few planets with intelligent life, which is why the gods usually come here; also because it is more interesting here. After all, you already know what to expect from bacteria or common animals, but from humans and other beings on this planet? The gods find them very intriguing.

Well, it will take a while. It will probably be like this routine for a period, I hope: someone makes a wish for themselves or for many people, then I go back into the lamp and wait again, observing the changes in this world. It seems that the regions of the countries near the Great Continent are all developed, but behind this powerhouse, to go to another country you have to cross the sea. And from what I see, there is another continent further away. Will it happen just like the Americas, where the Europeans ended up colonizing everything? Probably not. This is due to the fact that, although they are less technologically developed, because they live like dragons and have evolved into dragonkins, they are much stronger and have a higher magical affinity with the elements.

Yes, dragons are not monsters; they are magical animals, which are creatures that are born with cores and a natural affinity for certain elements. This is the reason why I can see through them, even though they don't have a ritual to receive blessings from the gods. It's something similar to spirits: some arise from elements of nature, like volcanoes, fires, or even blizzards. These spirits are also of fire or, better said, of heat. I control heat, and that's why I can see through the eyes of the dragonkins and even ask things. They have no idea that there are other places beyond that continent; after all, they don't have wings or anything of the sort, they don't have boats, and much less airplanes.

Well, I am waiting to see more changes in this world, like the City of Wisdom, where they know things that many others doubt. The people who leave that place to explain things are called crazy. This is not much different from our Middle Ages: if you went back in time and said that taking a bath is good, they would say you are crazy or possessed. In the case of this world, they just call them crazy, since demons do not possess bodies.

I hope someone from that tower can prove the knowledge that exists inside it. Will it be the current sage? It has been some time, and the sage is chosen through a democracy. Yes, in a feudal world where the king rules everything! And no, there is no interference from a tyrannical church, because the church of this world is not like the one from our Middle Ages; it is an institution that strictly follows what was said by the gods.

Basically, from Miria's memories, a long time ago we became intrigued by this world and helped it evolve out of pure entertainment, to see whether or not they would follow what we said. Apparently, they wrote down everything we said about being fair and so on. But as it happened, humans did not have faith in all the gods at the same time; they developed faith in each one individually. This is due to the fact that we taught the same thing, but with each god speaking in their own way. What happened is that, although the foundation is the same, it ended up causing many to have faith in one and disrespect the others.

For example, the God of Darkness, Trevor. He gave a bad impression, but his logic was basically: "You have to be firm; if they throw a stone at you, you make sure they don't throw it anymore". That's one of the phrases he drops from time to time, which means that one must appease hatred. Yes, he is actually just misunderstood and very emo. Because of this, he fights all the time with Lucia, who is brilliant and cannot interpret what he says, thinking he is a villain. Most of their fights are due to this misunderstanding. This developed to the point where they created a competition to decide who is right; with the magic of will, they basically make things happen however they see fit.

Well, this is my life now.
