POV Miria
After the lamp was rubbed, I recited the same phrases again that I got tired of speaking a long time ago, introducing myself and informing about the three wishes.
Without hesitating for even a second, the blacksmith asked for a powerful sacred sword made of the light element. Well, logically I know how to create a rune; after all, I accepted myself as a goddess a long time ago, after spending years accompanying the generations of the farmer's family. The memories influence a lot. Without caring too much about it, I snapped my fingers. The process was automatic, as always, but by having more information now, it became easier not to get confused by the requests.
As soon as the blacksmith saw the sword, he looked at the runes and was surprised because they were incredibly unique. He began to write them down immediately and then made his next wish: he asked for more knowledge about runes. I granted the request and snapped my fingers. It seems he acquired a vast knowledge of the divine language, but he needed a moment to recover. You could tell it was a lot of information, though it didn't come anywhere close to the amount of data that I and that young Leo acquired in the past.
I would say that if I weren't a goddess, I would be in the same situation as him, almost fainting. What happened to the dwarf was just a slight headache, and this is due to the fact that to create runes, it is mandatory to have knowledge of the divine language. If you learned another language from scratch, or knowing very few words, and absorbed it rapidly in a matter of minutes, you would also get a headache; it's too much information all at once.
Well, this dwarf will also come to understand how to do magic, since these two things are interconnected. I waited patiently until he assimilated everything and made his last wish: he would like a new ore to emerge in nature that was superior to magic ore and that absorbed even more mana.
I snapped my fingers and the new ore began to emerge in the world. It took a little while, but I managed to see through people's vision that the request was granted. It's a good thing I gave many blessings to people; how nice that I'm not demanding about these things.
I went back inside the lamp and kept thinking about how cool that sword had turned out. I lay down and relaxed while talking to the spirits. Well, it seemed like the usual: they told me various things and I listened attentively. I noticed that the fire spirits are very emotional. This brought back the memories of Miria and the times I let myself get carried away by emotions. Come to think of it, there isn't that much difference between me and Miria now. Well, it's not like I had a choice. How I wanted to be freed!
I learned through my vision that that chef created and popularized pizza, hamburgers, and french fries. Damn, and the worst part is that I can only watch. It's one thing to have your wish fulfilled through others, it's another thing to be able to enjoy it. There are much more delicious foods in the world now, but as long as I am trapped in here, I will never enjoy them.
I spoke out loud without thinking straight:
"Sigh, I miss the divine realm..."
Huh? But I have never witnessed the divine realm! Man, well... it slipped out without thinking. This was actually one of the lamentations of the old Miria that I ended up inheriting. The fact that she sought power because she felt inferior ended up making her get trapped. I continue to reflect on this. My mind is already that of a woman; although I started as Alex, the years trapped here and the goddess hormones made me think in different ways. Add the deity's memories to that and the result is this: a totally different person. Of course I ended up inheriting traits from both, but I was right, my current self has never truly seen the divine realm.
I stay relaxed just watching what happens outside. It seems the blacksmith is going to pass the lamp to a beastman. Well, I don't care who gets the lamp, everything seems very repetitive. How boring. It's always the same thing, just watching the world evolve, whether it's small things with the map or big things like knowledge and the tower. Boring, this is very boring.
To try and drive away some of the boredom, I decide to drink some wine and read some of the romances I created myself—yes, the ones I created, not Miria's. I read calmly and follow the unfolding of the story, wondering if one day a hero will come to save me from this lamp. If he comes, I hope he is handsome.
After a while, the lamp is rubbed. Again.
