Eliza stood out into open space.

She knew that it was time to let Mira in on everything in order to fully trust her and be comfortable around her in doing things, and figuring all things that needed to be figured out.

Mira was still shaken up by what she saw l but for some reason comma Elisa wasn’t too fazed about it.Full novel: IGNITING LOVE — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Mira I know this may sound very strange to you but it’s something I really need you to pay attention to what I’m about to say,” Mira was quiet while cleaning the drool off her lips that she didn’t know had started dripping out.

She adjusted herself on the floor and turned to face Elisa who wasn’t still looking at her yet.

” Go ahead,” she said.

Elisa cleared her throat and she turned, looking at Mira with a dead serious face.

“I am dead,” she started.

Mira was confused, struggling to understand what she meant by that.

Was she in deep trouble or something?

But she didn’t say a word, as she waited for her to continue speaking.

When she saw that Elisa was waiting for her to say something she asked “what you mean you did you are dead?

Elisa began to fidget; she was conflicted now, will she really believe her?

Won’t this just sound like a stupid joke?

“Mira, I need you to promise me one thing,” she said.

” I need you to promise me that you’re going to listen with an open mind and not think I’m crazy .”

Mira was still confused but she promised anyway, since she really wanted to hear what Elisa had to say.

“I don’t know how this happened but I’m in a body that doesn’t belong to me.

I….

I don’t know how to explain this to you, but what I’m trying to say is I…..

I am actually dead or supposed to be dead.

In fact,” she took a deep breath.

“Where do I start?

The honest truth is what the news is saying is not the truth.

My sister actually pushed me after I found out about her schemes with my so-called boyfriend..

I was betrayed and I thought that I would die and I did but what doesn’t make sense is why I’m in the body of this woman named Ashley.

Please don’t give me the look Mira,”

Mira could not hide the expression on her face.

She was trying her best not to call her crazy but nothing was making sense Elisa knew this was going to be dead end if she doesn’t have anything to back it up with so she began to explain every single thing she could, showing her even the chats with X and even though it didn’t explain much.

Mira seemed to be understanding or so it looks like it was too much for her to comprehend.

Mira seemed to be getting it but then she asked calmly.

“Ma’am do you think that maybe you just believe that because you’re a deep fan and — it could be that maybe your brain is interpreting that to be that you are her?” Mira said, trying not to make it sound like she was telling her she was crazy, but Elisa knew better, and she was irritated.

“I told you not to think I’m crazy” she heaved, her voice low.

“Leave.”

Mira stretched her arm to show she meant no harm and she came closer.

“Alright, I’m sorry” Mira said, “but you have to understand, this is truly hard to believe”

“I know” Elisa sighed, breaking down in tears.

“But I want to believe you, and even though a lot of it doesn’t make sense to me, there are some things that do” Mira said, sparking a feeling of hope in Elisa and she looked at her to confirm if she was being serious.

Mira nodded in confirmation before she continued to speak.

“When the news came out about how Elisa – You – she stuttered.

“Speak freely,” Elisa said calmly.

“How Elisa died, it didn’t make any sense to me.

Drunk?

It wasn’t of your nature and a lot of us – fans – found it really absurd, and to think that she didn’t want an autopsy?” Mira scoffed.

“Also—” she looked at Elisa to know if it was still okay to keep talking.

When she was sure it was, she continued “It now makes sense that you were able to meet with Mr Anderson”

“You knew him?”

“Actually, there is a fan base of you that I’m in and there are a lot of premium information that is shared there” as if she just thought of something, she nodded and added “no wonder you were looking at her like that.

Uh Elisa’s— your sister”

“Mira, I know it is still hard to process, but I trust you and that is why I’m letting you in on all of this, and — I want you to help me figure this out”

Mira, as if opening up a new bond drew nearer to her and held her hand.

“I want to believe you too!” Mira chuckled softly, tears forming in her eyes.

“No wonder you wanted a renovation – No wonder you tested me, no wonder you wanted me to call you Lee”

“I am sorry for the test, Mira.

I mean it”

“It is okay.

I would have done the same if I was in your shoes” She chuckled again.

“This might be crazy, but can I have your autograph?”

Elisa smiled warmly at her, her eyes watering-

“Sure” she chuckled too.

Elisa could not believe she just told her everything.

She really hopes she isn’t wrong about this one, else she would be shattered.

Mira brought a white polo that Elisa had never noticed before and handed it to her with a pen.

Elisa was crying now as she did her signature on the shirt.

Mira watched in amusement, as if this just helped to confirm everything.

All of a sudden, she leaned in and hugged Elisa and it felt so warm that Elisa’s shoulders loosened up and she hugged her back.

The door clicked open and the two pulled away from each other.

Ethan was standing in front of the door, the spare keys jingling as he looked at them with narrowing eyes.

“What is going on here?”
