[Free Talk] The server’s been a complete mess lately
Everywhere you go, it’s just kids picking fights nonstop
Hey, if you spam that many effects out in the field, people with potato PCs like me lag out, you know? lol
If you’re gonna fight, just do a guild war, what the hell is wrong with them?

What’s new
It’s been worse lately. Heard Another started it and went wild?
┕ Not Yoil?
┕ Isn’t Yoil the one getting targeted?
┕ Nah Yoil’s the one picking fights~ those guys have always been like that lol
┕ Oh really?
┕ Pathetic for a rank 1 guild, huh? 😭
But seriously why aren’t they doing guild wars? Didn’t they always fight each other like that?
[Free Talk] Don’t call them the rank 1 guild, just call them a bunch of trash thugs
Other servers are quiet, but only this one’s like this—maybe it’s because Yoil guild is garbage?
They fought Another like crazy, then when Heunjeok left Another and things calmed down, they started acting like they owned the place
Now they’re going insane again because Heunjeok came back—they’re trying to crush Another before it grows
Their mindset is straight-up thug mentality, clinging desperately to stay rank 1 lol

Even if Another is recruiting again, they’re still way behind Yoil, so they’re just going around PKing in the field
God I fucking hate Yoil guild
That trash guild’s level, seriously;;
But is it true Yoil started it first? Not defending them, just genuinely asking
┕ Obviously lol does Another even have a reason to act like that?
┕ Yoil is trying to stomp Another before they grow
┕ Are you seriously asking because you don’t know??
┕ I’m actually curious… I heard somewhere else that Another started it first, so which is it?
┕ Why would Another start it lol
┕ Ever seen a loser pick a fight with a bully first? Same thing
┕ Another isn’t that weak though, I’ve actually seen them attack Yoil first
┕ This guy’s defending them lol
┕ Oh look, another defender
┕ Knew something felt off—defender confirmed haha
Who doesn’t know those guys are idiots
[Free Talk] Whatever, I don’t even care anymore
If you’re gonna fight, keep it between yourselves
Why the hell are you causing a scene in front of raids or in the plaza?
If you fought somewhere else, nobody would care. But you make it so everyone has to see it, that’s why people are pissed

Agreed, if you’re gonna fight just do it quietly among yourselves
Sometimes I park in front of a raid and go AFK for a bit, then I come back and it’s just loud skill noises and guilds going at it like crazyㅡㅡ;
Guess Heunjeok really is Yoil’s trigger button, seeing how they’re acting the moment he came back lol
┕ The real Heunjeok came back?
┕ That’s what people are saying
┕ Wait seriously? That Heunjeok? The one who deleted his account? That’s insane
Ugh, I should just quit this trash game

“Really? Another guild members are PKing…”
After I explained what had happened over the past week, Seo Jeongyeon tilted his head.
“Were there any impostors or NoFuture among the ones picking fights?”
“No. Didn’t see a trace of them all week.”
“That’s strange. There’s no real reason for them to hide.”
“Who knows. The forums are completely flooded with posts trashing our guild. Maybe that’s what they were aiming for.”
“You don’t care about that kind of thing, do you, Do Haejun?”
“I don’t. But my guild members do. And the guild’s reputation matters.”
No matter how fun a game is, you eventually get tired of it. Considering how many people quit over time, new recruits were essential to keep a guild alive.
If we got labeled as a toxic guild that just goes around beating others up, even being rank 1 wouldn’t matter. Fewer and fewer new players would want to join.
‘It’s annoying, but going around replying to every single post would be ridiculous.’
I took a long sip of the iced chocolate in front of me and finally brought up what I’d been meaning to say.
“And you.”
“Me?”
“You haven’t logged into the game since then. And you stopped coming to the café too.”
“Ah.”
Seo Jeongyeon rolled his dark eyes, understanding what I meant.
“I had some things come up. It’s not like I avoided it on purpose.”
“Sure you did.”
“Anyway, what I was thinking is…”
He suddenly trailed off, lips pressing together with a strange expression.
I watched him quietly, wondering what was wrong. After a long pause, he met my gaze and asked,
“This is just a random question, no real meaning behind it.”
“Say it.”
“Did you wait for me?”
“……”
What the hell is this guy— I shot him a cold glare.
“Are you insane?”
“Haha, just got curious all of a sudden.”
“Cut the nonsense and get to the point.”
We were sitting in a 24-hour café.
It was already well past 10 PM, heading toward 11, but I had the day off from my part-time job, so it didn’t matter. Seo Jeongyeon had been the one to suggest meeting, and he didn’t look tired at all.
“Anyway, since we can’t figure out why Another is operating like this, and neither the impostor nor NoFuture is showing up… the only option is to join the guild.”
“So you’re still planning to level a sub character and get in?”
“Yes. Doesn’t it sound fun? My main is gone anyway, so I’ve got plenty of time to raise a new one.”
“…About that.”
I hesitated for a moment before continuing.
“I heard your account got deleted. Some people say it was hacked and wiped. Is that true?”
Seo Jeongyeon looked slightly surprised, as if he hadn’t expected me to ask that.
“It’s true that something got deleted. But it wasn’t me, and it wasn’t the account itself.”
“Wait, if not the account… then just the character?”
“Yeah. The account is still there. Ilhwiilbi is on the same account too. Actually, I already restored the Heunjeok character.”
You restored Heunjeok? But if it was restored…
“I didn’t see anything restored. The guild’s one thing—NoFuture took over as guild master—but rankings and stuff were the same as before.”
“I restored it late, so only the character came back. Friend lists and ranking points were all gone. Apparently those can’t be recovered. Doesn’t matter though, I haven’t logged in on that character even once since.”
His tone was indifferent.
It was obvious he didn’t have any attachment left to the Heunjeok character.
For some reason… that stung a little.
I knew this wasn’t the time to feel something childish like that, but still. Clicking my tongue internally, I brought up the most important point.
“Then just log in with the restored Heunjeok and prove you’re the real one. That should solve everything.”
“Not really. They won’t accept it that easily. And I’ve already been kicked out of the guild, so Another will stay the way it is anyway. Would anything really change?”
Tap, tap.
His long, pale fingers lightly tapped against the table.
“If I bring out my main too early, there’s a high chance everything just gets worse. It’s safer to join the guild first and figure out what’s actually going on, like I said.”
Yeah… figures.
But to join, we’d have to level new characters.
“You’re making a new one too?”
“Of course. Ilhwiilbi’s already been running around with you everywhere, so he’s not really suitable for something like this.”
“What are you talking about? When did I ever ‘run around’ with you?”
“That wasn’t what it was?”
I had no idea what he was talking about. While I stared at him in disbelief, Seo Jeongyeon continued,
“If you’re doing this with me, you’ll have to make a new character too. But there’s one problem.”
“Problem?”
“Our goal isn’t just leveling a sub character. We need to get into Another. So we have to hit max level as fast as possible. If they close recruitment while we’re still leveling, that’d be bad.”
I already knew that.
I was about to nod when I noticed his expression and narrowed my eyes.
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Do Haejun, you’ve never raised a sub character before, have you?”
“So?”
“I’m worried. Not sure you can handle it.”
“…What?”
That was when it clicked.
Seeing the smile tugging at the corner of his lips, my expression twisted.
“Hey… you think you’re in a position to say that? After the way you raised Ilhwiilbi?”
“That was half-assed. If I do it properly, I can hit max level in under a week.”
“A week? I only need five days.”
At my rebuttal, Seo Jeongyeon rested his chin on his hand and smiled brightly.
“Really? Then want to make a bet? Who hits max level first?”
“Deal!”
For a split second, thoughts of my café job, the design work Im Sohee gave me, and the current guild situation flashed through my mind—
But my mouth answered before my brain could stop it.
The moment I agreed, I realized my mistake. Seo Jeongyeon, clearly amused, started chuckling openly.
My fist clenched on its own, trembling slightly.
‘What an annoying bastard…’
At this point, there was no need to question whether Seo Jeongyeon was really Heunjeok.
There was only one person who could mess with my head like this.
