The Cruelest Death
After experiencing the hot springs firsthand, both Sherisa Noel and Jessica Lewis highly approved of the project’s existence.
The main point was that when immersed in the warm water, closing their eyes and emptying their minds, the fatigue of the past seemed to flow away with the water.
Henry closed his eyes contentedly, savoring this rare moment of warmth.
“Henry, try this.” A clear, sweet voice carried a hint of coquettishness.
Henry opened his eyes to see Sherisa’s body pressed close to his side, her slender, pale fingers holding a grape up to his lips.
Her golden hair was casually tied up, with a few stray strands falling beside her cheeks, making her skin appear even more fair, tender, and seemingly ready to be pinched until water came out.
Henry wanted to take the grape from her hand, but Sherisa took it away and said,
“Open your mouth, I’ll feed you.”
Having the young lady of the Noel Family feed him was certainly a good thing.
It was just that a certain someone’s death glare from the side made Henry hesitant to move.
After all, Sherisa was currently pressed tightly against Henry, almost to the point of taking off her clothes and offering herself to him.
“Does he not have hands? Does he need you to feed him?”
Jessica stepped over, her face as black as ink.
Seeing that Henry wasn’t following her suggestion, Sherisa’s lips drooped slightly, her eyes filling with grievance.
“Henry, look how the Crown Princess is always so lacking in romance.”
“If you want to act slutty, go ashore, don’t ruin the mood here!”
Jessica stepped forward and grabbed Henry’s other arm, her full assets pressing against his arm.
Unlike Sherisa’s flat board, Jessica’s figure was indeed well-endowed.
There was really no way around it; some advantages were innate. If one wanted to change them, perhaps Sherisa needed to put in some effort.
“You let go of him!”
“You let go!”
For a moment, water splashed everywhere in the spring pool, the sounds of their arguing and pulling echoing in the steam!
Henry felt like a ragdoll, constantly being pulled back and forth by the two.
The key issue was that both had personalities where neither would yield to the other, leaving Henry feeling helpless.
“Alright, stop!”
Henry couldn’t help but shout.
The two finally settled down and stopped.
“I say, ladies, didn’t you come to experience the effects of the hot springs? How did you get so heated up just from soaking?”
The two snorted coldly, each turning their faces away.
But they still held onto Henry’s arms, unwilling to let go.
Henry now had a headache in two ways.
Left with no choice, he could only resort to some unconventional methods.
He let his two hands wander off to different places.
The two, who had just been sulking, suddenly tensed up, subconsciously let go of his hands, and then looked at Henry with expressions of disbelief.
They seemed never to have expected Henry to be so bold.
This… this guy actually made a move on me in front of that thieving cat!
Jessica’s mind was in chaos, momentarily unsure how to react.
Meanwhile, Sherisa pursed her lips tightly and silently submerged her head in the water.
At the same time, Henry, now liberated, easily broke free from the two of them.
“You two enjoy yourselves slowly, I’m going ashore first.”
He stepped slowly onto the shore on the pebbles.
The hot spring water had soaked his skin, turning it red all over.
Sherisa and Jessica stole a glance but quickly averted their eyes.
Their minds automatically conjured up images.
It was Jessica who suddenly spurted a massive nosebleed and then passed out completely.
Henry was covered in black lines, momentarily unsure how to react.
Lilith, however, quickly came to the edge of the pool and fished Jessica out.
At the same time, she looked at Henry, then quickly averted her gaze.
The Crown Princess really overreacts…
Lilith complained inwardly.
This hot spring farce seemed to come to an abrupt halt due to Jessica’s fainting.

As agreed, Henry arrived on time at the academy’s research lab.
As soon as he opened the door, Henry heard an explosive sound, followed by billowing thick smoke pouring out of the research lab.
Erica Runos walked out, coughing, muttering to herself,
“Ah, why hasn’t it succeeded yet? What if Henry-kun drinks it and explodes?”
Henry looked at the sign outside the research lab, confirming he had come to a research lab and not some weapons depot.
How could Erica say such a terrifying thing so lightly?
He could already imagine the scene of himself drinking the potion and then exploding.
He just wondered if Lilith knew about the private savings he had buried under the tree. Wouldn’t it be a loss if she couldn’t find them?
“Henry-kun, you’re here! I was just about to go find you.”
Erica excitedly pulled Henry into the research lab.
Inside was filled with the smells of various herbs and potions. The floor was scattered with alchemical recipe formulas, and some papers had large crosses drawn on them, apparently denoting completely unusable versions.
Erica ran to her box, pulled out a bottle of pure green potion — the key point was that it was still bubbling, looking like apple-flavored Fanta.
“This is the learning potion I developed. Theoretically, it can enhance neural reaction speed.”
Henry thought, isn’t this just adrenaline?
“Are there any side effects?”
“Theoretically, there shouldn’t be. I’ve adjusted it many times, but I need Henry-kun to help me test it.”
Looking at that potion, Henry silently gulped.
He remembered Erica’s reputation in the game.
This woman’s chance of brewing the wrong potion was much higher than her chance of success.
He was starting to regret this.
But to build a good relationship with Erica, he was going all out!
“Erica, if I die, please carry me back to my manor.”
“Ah, you won’t die! I have plenty of antidotes here, I guarantee you’ll survive safely.”
‘That was the scariest part, wasn’t it?
I can survive, but how I survive is unclear.’
Dismissing the distracting thoughts in his mind,
Henry chugged the potion in one go.
Unexpectedly, the potion’s taste was really no different from a green apple.
He licked his lips, only to feel the scene before him slowing down more and more. The mosquito flying around in the research lab now seemed as slow as an ant to his eyes.
He subconsciously tried to grab it, but was surprised to find his own movements seemed stiff, unable to move.
Wo cao?
Enhanced neural reaction, but can’t move?
So if you drink this potion during a fight, you can only watch yourself get killed?!
Henry’s mouth twitched slightly, dubbing this “the cruelest death.”
“Henry-kun, are you okay? How do you feel?”
Erica took out a notebook and started recording.
“Can you give me the antidote? I can’t move.”
“Eh, your body is petrified? Just as I expected!”
Erica quickly recorded in her notebook, while Henry looked at her in despair.
How could she say “Just as I expected”?
Let me go home!
