Amelia held onto Selene’s hands while Selene worked her hips as she tunneled into her with abandonment. Amelia matched Selene’s moans, unafraid that the walls were paper thin. Selene stopped for a second and Amelia let out a frustrated whine, which turned into eager begging but not before Selene silenced her with a passionate kiss.
Amelia spread her legs wider as Selene’s strap entered her once more until Amelia climaxed, thighs shaking. Selene wasted no time waiting and slipped Amelia’s chicklet into her mouth, as Amelia struggled to stay conscious. She reached out towards her girlfriend until another climax broke through her body, drenching the towel beneath her.
Selene wasted no time by letting Amelia’s clit softened even as she slowly pulled out, taking off the strap and positioning herself over Amelia’s mouth. Amelia eagerly obliged, repaying her girlfriend as Selene moaned even louder, their cries mixing until Amelia brought her girlfriend to convulses, and then she dove back in for seconds, worshipping her until Selene could hardly catch her breath.
Amelia leaned back into her girlfriend’s fingers as they massaged her shoulders. Her lips trailed down her neck, and then she played with her hair. It had been a week since Selene’s sister had attacked them, and Selene hadn’t mentioned it at all. And Amelia hadn’t mentioned the Dhampir’s request to steal from Selene’s family.
She was terrified of mentioning it at all for Selene might rip him to shreds if she so much as mentioned the Dhampir who snatched her up and held her captive. She hadn’t even mentioned it to Sam, actually, she hadn’t seen much of Sam at all.
This last week had been surprisingly normal with the exception of not having a job (she was putting out applications every day, when she wasn’t being distracted) and her girlfriend disappearing every now and then to help a snack.
“Something’s bothering you,” Selene said, nuzzling her, letting her lips linger just beneath her chin.
“It’s nothing,” Amelia said, as Selene kissed her neck, a nibble here or there, her other hand caressing her cheek. “Okay, you might laugh.”
Selene didn’t retract her hand but gave one more peck, and then pulled Amelia close. “You can always tell me anything.” Selene kept looking at her lips, and Amelia could tell that the succubus only wanted to dive in.
“I want to accompany you while you’re working.”
Selene rested a hand on Amelia’s knee.
“I want to learn from you. I want to do what you do,” Amelia said. “I want to be like you. I want to help people. Other trans people. People in need.”
“There’s a lot of that,” Selene said, smiling.
Amelia tucked her legs underneath her. “I just feel so useless.”
“You were an editor for a magazine that reached so many people. Never discount that.”
“I’m not. I just don’t think my life has direction and I keep thinking is this it…”
Selene exhaled, and Amelia always knew that Selene didn’t like this topic, but Selene looked back and forth to Amelia’s lips and her own feet. “I can change your shape, kind of like I did before.
I can temporarily make you a succubus. It can be like a trial version to see if you like it. You will not feel the hunger that a succubus feels, but you will sense everything else.
Mostly. And you can accompany me, but I’m not taking you to anywhere that would lead to a summoning, but I’ll make sure that you’re not touched or spoken in any way that makes you uncomfortable. And if you enjoy it, then we can go a bit riskier, but we’ll go at your own pace. But on one condition.”
Amelia nodded.
“Any time you think the situation is unsafe, or wrong, I need you to let me know.”
Amelia laughed.
“I’m serious! You tend to buckle down and push through and that doesn’t always…it’s not always helpful.”
“Okay, I guess, I’m really surprised by all of this.”
“What else is on your mind,” Selene nuzzled her again, a quick kiss on the forehead.
Amelia looked to Selene and then to her hands clenched. She wasn’t sure if now was the right time to tell her about Veela or his damnable request. “I can’t think of anything else,” she said. I’ll tell her. Eventually Amelia thought.
“Okay, now for my proposition,” Selene bounced up and down. “Amelia, I want to take you on a date. Now, before you say anything. A proper date! That doesn’t include whatever succubus schenanigans we’ll get up to.”
“Succubus schenanigans,” Amelia cocked a brow.
“What?”
“Selene, we’ve been on dates before, not that I wouldn’t say yes obviously. You’re my girlfriend.”
“Not a real date. A nice one! The whole day. You and me.”
“And I don’t get any say?”
“It will be a surprise.”
Selene was bouncing on the balls of her feet, and Amelia found herself looking respectfully. Maybe she could tell her what was going on with the Dhampir after the date. She didn’t want to risk tarnishing Selene’s elation.
“I’d love to.”
Selene grinned, and then kissed Amelia, removing her bra and easing her back down into the bed. Her lips pressed around her nipple as her other hand stroked her hair.
Amelia’s toes curled and then Selene alternated between her nipples, long teasing kisses. Pulling on one slightly. Amelia laughing. Selene’s smug face looking into her’s.
Selene looking upwards, face softening, asking for permission to touch her. Her hand dropping from her lover’s hair to the small of her back. Another nod from Amelia to give permission as she trailed light strokes from down below, stroking Amelia’s clit, as it peaked out from her panties.
Selene caressing her through her panties. Amelia leaned back, spreading her legs, meeting her eyes. Goddess she loved her girlfriend.
Blushing, she laughed as Selene continued to give her girlfriend attention.
The following day Selene surprised her with a bouquet of flowers and a bag of white bread. Amelia placed the peonies in a vase, making it the centerpiece of her kitchen while Selene beamed, and then they took the aboveground to Central Park.
As suspected Central Park was not as crowded as it usually was and the two went over, making sure no one was watching when they started feeding the ducks. The day was peaceful as the ducks kicked their little legs and preened in the glow of the early morning sun and fresh air, occasionally snatching up bits of fallen bread.
“We can get fined for feeding animals? Wild,” Selene said, shifting from foot to foot, as she tossed more bread bits over the fenceline. “They’re not even that interested. They’re so cute.”
Amelia rested her head on Selene’s shoulder. “They love you.”
“I’m one with the bread!”
Selene tossed it out erratically until a man in a green uniform with curly hair, nearly the same height as Amelia gave them a warning for feeding the ducks. Selene was incredulous but didn’t make a fuss.
“You weren’t kidding!” she laughed as Amelia shrugged her shoulders. “Ladies you’re causing a disturbance,” Selene mimicked and Amelia laughed as Selene tucked her arm around her as they walked around the reservoir and then found it more important to be holding her hand instead, tracing her thumb over her palm.
“Is it illegal to feed the ducks in the hells?”
“It depends on what circle,” Selene said. “I…sometimes miss it, you know. It’s a lot greener there, don’t give me that look, it is,” she said sticking her tongue out. “You’d never guess, but here it kind of pales in comparison to there. Although our ducks have teeth.”
“Ours do too.”
“No like have teeth.” For a second she let go to mime gaping jaws. “It’s the way it’s supposed to be.”
“How is that not terrifying?”
“Oh it is, Amelia,” she sang, immediately grabbing onto her girlfriend’s hand. “But it’s the way it’s supposed to be. Cute things should be able to defend themselves. Like bunnies.”
“Bunnies have teeth?”
“They have voids.”
“I…don’t know if I want to visit the hells.”
“Oh I’ll protect you. They won’t mess with me,” she jabbed a hand into her chest, and murmured a small ow, to which Amelia kissed her hand.
“I have no doubt,” she said.
“But first we gotta make you a demon or at least do a little makeover so they won’t expect it.”
“I think I prefer the demon route.”
“Trial period,” she winked. “Don’t forget. Plus I…I want to introduce you to my family.”
“I think I’ve met all of your sisters.”
“Lila would love you, but no. I’m talking about my family family. I had to… leave them behind when I left. But it was better for me, ya know?”
Amelia’s grip tightened on her. Amelia was slightly jealous. She had, had a difficult time finding other queer folks she could call family. When she had come out, she had jumped immediately into a relationship with Sam.
And now, now she was afraid to put herself out there. Especially because sometimes she thought she wasn’t enough. Four years of hormones, still didn’t allow her to snap into place. It was infuriating.
“I’d love to meet them,” she said.
Selene nodded. She had noticed that Amelia was lost in thought but she didn’t pry. It wasn’t like Sam. Sam had to know what was on her mind all the time. There was a difference there that Amelia appreciated. Selene let her take her time. Sometimes.
Selene took Amelia’s glasses off and set them on her face. Before kissing her on the nose.
“Sorry, you have really pretty eyes and I…I wanted to do that. Plus you look incredibly lovely when you’re lost in thought.” Selene stammered.
Amelia blushed, and kissed her back. She got some strange looks from some men jogging by but she heeded them no mind.
Selene had made reservations at something she explained to Amelia as a Paint N’ Pour on Lower East Side. Amelia had never heard of it. She was still afraid to admit to her girlfriend that she wasn’t that much of a drinker, that that night out had just been a way to get out of her head.
But even now as they entered Amelia’s nerves were on fire at how many people there were. Selene didn’t let go of her hand as she guided her.
“I don’t know about this, Selene,” Amelia murmured and as if sensing Amelia’s anxiety she turned to her. “I did manage to get us a private room, if you’re still in it, or we can do something else.”
Amelia nodded and Selene led her to a closed-in room with a pot of cheese fondue, what looked like simmering potato balls, salami, definitely salami, broccoli and an assortment of steaming vegetables. There were two canvas’s, watercolors and a margarita pitcher. Lo-Fi music hummed over the speakers. “We can change the music if you’d like.”
Amelia sat, still not sure why she was so nervous.
“If you’re not up for this we can always go across town. I think there’s a rage room nearby or an escape room if you’d like to do that instead.”
Amelia could still not believe that this was her girlfriend. She had worn a bold shade and Amelia could not stop looking at her lips.
“How much did this cost?”
“Friend of a friend. No worries,” Selene winked. “We can order anything you’d like.”
“I just want to be here with you. Anywhere’s fine,” and Selene swooned. Yep, she was in trouble. Selene hastily grabbed a potato ball and dipped it in, careful not to get her jacket dirty. The steam fogged up her glasses, as she popped the morsel into her mouth. Amelia still could not look away from her lips.
“Would you like some, pet?” Amelia nodded as the succubus dipped one of the golden fried balls into the fondu and lazily fed it to her, watching as Amelia’s lips closed around the tooth pick.
“Do you think they’d be offended,” Selene said. “If I threw you down on this table and created our own Picasso.”
Amelia grinned. “Maybe on the next date.” And Selene pouted!
“Maybe on a rage room date. Then we’d definitely get kicked out.”
Selene laughed deeply. Straight from her belly. “Ooh you are devious.”
Amelia drank from her margarita glass, tasting a hint of salt. Sugar for the succubus. They swapped.
Amelia went for the broccoli and began to paint, feeling a buzz. “Is there anything against the rules if I draw you naked.”
“Will immediately be framed and go on the fridge,” Selene said without missing a beat. “Bonus if it’s of you.”
“I’m not painting myself naked! That’s insane.”
“Love, it would be a gift. I would put it right in the entryway. My very own centerpiece. It would obviously be the first thing in our apartment.”
“Our apartment.”
“I’ve moved in haven’t I?” Selene said. “But what if we got our own.”
“I…it’s a big move.” Amelia felt anxiety flooding back. Reminded of Sam. Reminded of how it was so good and how it went so wrong so fast when they started living together. “I need time, Selene.”
“But I can still sleep over at your place still right?” Amelia thought she was going to push for a “what’s the difference,” but she stayed silent on the matter.
“Always.”
“I hate booths. Prevents me from coming over there and kissing you,” Selene said, resting her head on her hands, before Amelia popped a piece of broccoli in her mouth.
“That was dirty,” she said after chewing.
“You need your vegetables.”
“I prefer cauliflower.”
“Uh huh.”
Selene smiled, watching her as she painted. Amelia wasn’t drunk, she was sure of it but by the fifth drink she noticed her painting was coming along.
“Can I see?” Selene reached for the canvas and Amelia lightly tapped her hand. “No peaking.”
“It’s you in the nude, isn’t it?”
Amelia stuck out her tongue.
Selene sighed, sipping on her margerita before picking up her own paintbrush, scribbling away, but every once and a while eyeing Amelia.
“Okay! I think it’s done.”
Selene gasped as she took in the portrait. “That’s a rock, and that’s a—oh wait! That’s the spot. The place where we met and the two stick figures? Lying side by side. That’s us. I like the stars.”
“It’s horrid.”
“NO it’s not! I love it. Frameable. First on the fridge.”
“Your head looks smushed in, like it’s part of the rock.”
“That’s just the margaritas talking, love. I love it. I love all of it.” She kept looking at Amelia, stars in her eyes.
The walk back to Amelia’s apartment was swift. Neither of them was drunk, but still high on the buzz of each other. People walked by but it’s like they didn’t exist. Selene kissed her at the door, and Amelia pulled her in. Amelia started kissing her wildly, with abandonment.
“Hey Amelia,” Selene was barely able to pull her girlfriend off of her lips, her cheeks, her chin. “Could we…could we cuddle together, and hold off on the sex for now?”
Amelia eyed her as if she was testing her, Selene the succubus withholding from sex, but cuddling right now—actually sounded amazing. Amelia nodded and guided her to the couch and dimmed the lights, spooning her as Selene nestled in, her forehead resting on Amelia as she stroked her hair.
“I love you, Selene.”
“I love you too, Amelia.”
