After calming himself down, Silas started the check once again. This time, his target was the palace above Australia. There was no one in the palace other than Chris himself. He lived alone in the palace. He had not married anyone so far, and his mother and father had already died. So, only he lived in the palace alone. There were some servants as well, but they were just like those in the other palaces, nothing special.

Silas moved to the palace above America. George lived in the palace along with his two children. Silas found George in a meeting with his general. They seemed to be talking about training. So, Silas quickly checked the palace thoroughly, but there was nothing in it. The options were reducing, but his feeling of anxiety started to reduce as well. Causality had given Silas the chance, but now the supernatural phenomenon was disappearing.

Silas quickly checked all the remaining palaces in a hurry. There was nothing wrong with Qi Feng, then he shifted to Roan. Roan was practicing with his sword. Silas quickly checked his palace, and there was also nothing suspicious. Now, only Victoria’s palace was left. Silas had left her palace for last, as he did not want to believe that there was anything wrong with Victoria, but it seemed that now only her palace was left.Full novel: Immortality Through Will — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The feeling was reducing sharply, and it would probably vanish in five to ten minutes. So, Silas didn’t delay anymore and observed the palace above Europe. Victoria’s family was bigger than any other monarch’s. There were many people in her palace. Silas checked every one of them, and at last, he checked Victoria, who was busy with a globe, likely checking her kingdom. He checked her, and even with such a large distance between them, he felt warmth in his heart. The feeling of anxiety had vanished completely, but he knew that there was nothing wrong with Victoria either.

Silas closed his eyes and leaned back on his throne.

It is likely related to the True Universe, but how can it reach even inside the Barren Planet?

While Silas was contemplating his anxiety, Victoria, who was immersed in her kingdom, suddenly opened her eyes. Just now, she had felt the same warmth she felt when Silas watched her. She looked toward the main palace.

Was Silas spying on me?

Her face turned beet red up to her neck in embarrassment. She quickly controlled her emotions.

No, how can it be? It must be just a regular check.

Victoria reminded herself of this, but a smile had already formed on her beautiful face. Victoria shook her head and once again started reviewing her kingdom. She didn’t want any problem to grow at the time of war. If there was some unstable factor, then this was the perfect time to nip it in the bud. But her worries were unfounded, as everything had turned out fine so far.

Now, only two and a half years were left before Earth evolved. Silas would likely complete his organ transformation one year before evolution. They also needed to prepare for attempting their chance to become Will Sea Masters before evolution. It would open up many opportunities for them if they could enter as Sea Masters. They would also get their first true Will ability upon becoming Sea Masters.

The remaining time was becoming increasingly important for everyone on Earth. They had already achieved things that would have been impossible for an ordinary Barren Planet, but their next transformation would determine how well they could survive in the True Universe. Silas wanted every monarch to enter the Lower Zone with the strongest possible foundation. Their armies needed to be ready, their cultivators needed to understand their abilities, and their technology needed to support them in battle. Even a small advantage could become decisive when facing enemies who had spent centuries cultivating.

Silas, who had closed his eyes and was thinking about the True Universe, suddenly had a thought. He quickly opened his eyes.

I haven’t checked my own palace, and there is Victor still remaining in my palace. Although the feeling of anxiety has gone, if I can find the problem, then there is no need for that feeling.

Silas quickly checked his palace. There was no problem with it. His sister and mother were in their room. His sister had reached Bone Transformation.

He checked Victor. He and his team were studying maps available in the library to increase their knowledge as much as possible, so they could infiltrate other Empires easily just after entering the True Universe. Silas checked each of them but found no problem.

Silas got frustrated, seeing that he had wasted a whole year on this, and even then, he had found not even a lead for that anxiety. He could only calm himself by thinking that it must have something to do with the True Universe.

A year of searching had brought him no answers, and that bothered Silas more than he wanted to admit. He had trusted the warning enough to examine every possible source of danger, yet he had found nothing that justified it. Perhaps the danger had passed before he could identify it, or perhaps he had misunderstood the warning from the beginning. Neither possibility satisfied him. Still, he could not afford to spend the remaining time endlessly searching for something he could not see. The war and ascension demanded his attention.

Era appeared in front of Silas.

"Have you checked the entire Empire?"

"Yes."

"Why don’t you ask me? I can do this more easily."

Silas looked at Era, wondering whether he should tell her about the strange feeling he had experienced. She was Earth’s Planet Spirit, and her connection with the planet was far deeper than his own. Perhaps she could discover something he had overlooked. However, he hesitated. He had already spent a year searching without finding anything, and he did not want to distract her from preparing for ascension without a clear reason.

Silas shook his head and sighed.

"It was just a feeling, but now there is no clue. Leave it. We should focus on the upcoming war."
