Today was a beautiful day with clear skies and a gentle breeze.

Ye Bai woke up early in the morning.

Before he could even get out of bed, he heard a familiar voice beside him.Full novel: In Marvel: My Wife Is Hela, the Goddess of Death — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Sign-in successful.

Reward: The Complete Detective Conan Manga Collection.”

Hearing today’s system reward, the corners of Ye Bai’s mouth twitched.

“Damn useless system.

There goes my good mood for the day.”

But when he thought about how Hela had treated him the previous night, Ye Bai’s expression quickly brightened again.

His wife was still the best.

She knew how to care for him and always knew how to warm his heart.

After briefly reminiscing about the previous night’s happiness, Ye Bai got up and went downstairs to prepare breakfast.

He was even earlier than usual today.

Normally, he wouldn’t get up until after eight, but today he was awake shortly after seven.

There was naturally a reason for getting up so early.

The luxury yacht Ye Bai had ordered some time ago had finally arrived.

It was currently docked at his private pier.

So Ye Bai planned to take Hela out and let her properly relax today.

Now that he had nothing to worry about, it was time to think about how to enjoy life.

Ye Bai’s plan was to set off from the Big Apple by yacht and follow the coastline all the way to the City of Angels.

He also owned a luxurious villa in Beverly Hills, so it was time to enjoy the California sunshine and take a proper vacation.

That was what Ye Bai was thinking when he pulled out his phone to check the latest news.

The first thing that caught his eye was a video.

In the video, a familiar giant was fighting military personnel.

The battle appeared to be taking place at a university.

The giant was covered in green from head to toe.

It was none other than the Marvel world’s most famous living tank, the Hulk.

“Looks like the events of The Incredible Hulk have begun.”

Ye Bai thought about it but didn’t take the matter too seriously.

He had no intention of becoming a savior, nor did he particularly enjoy playing the hero.

The Hulk’s problems could be left for S.H.I.E.L.D.

to deal with.

Besides, the battle between the Hulk and the Abomination was taking place in Manhattan, which had nothing to do with Ye Bai.

He didn’t even own property there.

His seaside estate was on the outskirts of the Big Apple, which technically made him a neighbor of Tony’s.

After watching for a few moments, Ye Bai quickly forgot about the Hulk.

He had better things to think about, such as what ingredients he should bring onto the yacht.

Hela’s body was still recovering and needed plenty of nourishment.

Ye Bai cared deeply about her health and wanted to make sure she was properly taken care of.

There was no denying that Ye Bai could be quite shameless when it came to his wife.

But he considered himself a shameless man with principles.

Hela was the only woman he had eyes for.

As for other women, Ye Bai wouldn’t even bother giving them a second glance.

At this moment, Hela also groggily woke up.

Feeling exhausted, Hela blushed and secretly cursed Ye Bai for being shameless.

But beneath that embarrassment was even more sweetness.

Who wouldn’t be happy knowing that the person they loved was equally devoted to them?

If someone told Hela that Ye Bai was a god just like her, she would probably believe it.

As for exactly what kind of god he was, that didn’t matter.

What mattered was that Ye Bai loved her.

Dragging herself reluctantly out of bed, Hela slowly made her way downstairs.

When she saw Ye Bai busy in the kitchen, a trace of tenderness appeared in her usually cool eyes.

Having someone there to take care of her every morning really was a wonderful feeling.

She walked into the kitchen and gently leaned against Ye Bai’s back.

“What are we having today?”

Hela asked, her voice carrying a hint of sleepy anticipation.

“I made some soup for you.

It’ll help you recover.

You’ve had a hard time.”

Ye Bai deliberately gave the words a second meaning, earning an immediate roll of the eyes from Hela.

“Then you keep working.

I’m going to freshen up first.

I feel a little strange.”

As she said this, Hela gave Ye Bai another reproachful look and reached out to pinch his side.

“Ow!”

Ye Bai yelped, and the movement of his hand nearly ruined the soup he was preparing.

Only then was Hela satisfied and walked away toward the bathroom on the first floor.

Ye Bai watched her with amusement and shook his head affectionately.

He completely forgot something important.

With Ye Bai’s current physical strength, how could someone as delicate as Hela possibly hurt him?

His skin could withstand bullets, yet Hela could still make him react with the slightest touch.

That alone should have told him that there was something unusual about their relationship.

But Ye Bai’s mind was filled with the sweetness of being with Hela, so he completely overlooked it.

After a simple breakfast, the two of them boarded the yacht.

It was a white luxury yacht named the Goddess.

Yes, Ye Bai had named it after Hela.

There wasn’t a single crew member aboard because they weren’t needed.

Ye Bai could operate the yacht entirely by himself.

The reward “Tom Cat’s Mouse-Catching Experience” hadn’t taught Ye Bai how to catch mice, but aside from that one bizarre omission, he had mastered everything else it contained.

Elegant music, refined sports, the operation of various forms of transportation, and even all kinds of technological knowledge were included.

The only thing it hadn’t taught him was how to catch a mouse.

Apparently, the cat named Tom wasn’t actually very good at catching mice.

Ye Bai pushed these ridiculous thoughts out of his mind and soon got the yacht moving.

Under Hela’s expectant gaze, the two of them lay on the yacht’s deck as they headed toward the City of Angels on the opposite side of the continent.

Their wonderful vacation had officially begun.

Back at Ye Bai’s estate, Mystique had already changed her appearance and was now staring at the completely empty mansion in disbelief.

Who was she?

Where was she?

What was she supposed to do?

Mystique had gone to considerable effort to infiltrate the heavily guarded estate, only to discover that her target had already left.

Had the target somehow noticed their plan?

That shouldn’t have happened.

Mystique couldn’t figure it out.

She could only stand there in the empty luxury estate, completely bewildered.

In a dark alley in the City of Angels, Bruce Banner was carefully hiding his whereabouts.

When had his life become like this?

He thought it had all started with that damned experiment.

Not long ago, Bruce Banner hadn’t been in such a miserable situation.

Back then, Bruce Banner had been a true winner in life.

He was a world-renowned physics professor and had even found himself a beautiful and wealthy girlfriend.

His life seemed to be reaching its peak.

Bruce Banner had originally believed that his good fortune would continue.

Until the day he was exposed to gamma radiation.

After that, something terrifying awakened within his body, and his nightmare began.

The military was hunting him.

Agents were hunting him.

Even private research facilities were trying to capture him.

Surrounded on all sides and hunted by practically everyone, Bruce Banner had become completely desperate.

All he could do was keep running and hiding, barely able to live a normal life.
