Xu Juexi got lost.

I was in such a hurry to avoid the main character that I slipped away as soon as I got out of the car that I didn’t even notice where I was going. I only remembered to check my phone for the private room information my manager sent me, and now I have no idea where I am.

He could only slink back to the front desk on the first floor and ask the young receptionist to show him the way.Full novel: Inferior O mistakenly enters an Alpha family — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The young girl glanced at the name of the private room and led him to a room on the third floor.

From a distance, Xu Juexi saw a broad-shouldered middle-aged man standing at the door of the private room, a cigarette between his fingers, looking irritable.

Upon seeing Xu Juexi being led over by the young girl, the middle-aged man flicked his cigarette ash and strode towards them.

Xu Juexi hated the smell of smoke, especially the smell. He shrank back the moment the man got close.

”Didn’t I tell you to come earlier? You made Director Zhang wait here for you, how could you be so shameless? I’ll settle the score with you later.” Wang Zhe said impatiently, “Alright, come in with me now.”

Xu Juexi checked the time on his phone and realized he wasn’t late.

Before he could refute what the other person said, he was dragged into the private room in a very impolite manner.

The air in the private room was filled with a dizzying smell, somewhat like the leather in a taxi mixed with a strong, cheap perfume, making Xu Juexi uncomfortable and even a little nostalgic for the feeling of sitting in the protagonist’s car earlier.

At least the protagonist wasn’t surrounded by that eerie smell.

Two people were already seated in the middle of the private room. One looked about the same age as Xu Juexi, was young and clean-looking, and was probably an omega as well; the other was a middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man’s arm was around the waist of the omega youth, and the incongruous sight of the two sitting together made one subconsciously feel uncomfortable.

Xu Juexi was dragged and led to the middle-aged man.

The man’s disgusting gaze swept over Xu Juexi, as if he were looking at a commodity waiting to be sold.

Xu Juexi felt as if his entire body had been licked by the tongue of a foul-smelling animal, leaving him with sticky saliva, making him want to punch the other person.

After sizing him up for a while, the man quickly showed a satisfied expression. He turned to look at Xu Juexi’s manager and said, “Xiao Wang, you really surprised me this time.”

Wang Zhe laughed and pushed Xu Juexi toward the middle-aged man: “This child is obedient and easy to discipline. Director Zhang, you can do it your way. Our little Xu still needs your guidance.”

As he spoke, he raised his glass and toasted the man addressed as Director Zhang: “Director Zhang, what do you think of our young Chen as the second male lead in your new movie…?”

”No rush.” Director Zhang raised his glass. “This… is your name Xiao Xu? Come, sit down next to me.”

Xu Juexi was forced to sit next to Director Zhang by his agent, and soon, the middle-aged man’s greasy hand climbed up his waist.

…How disgusting.

Even the slowest person would realize what had happened by now. This agent had treated him as a favor, giving him away to this hypocritical and despicable Director Zhang.

Wang Zhe gestured for Xu Juexi to toast Director Zhang.

Xu Juexi turned his head and saw the middle-aged man’s greasy face with its clearly visible pores, and made a gagging motion.

Director Zhang’s expression suddenly turned cold: “What do you mean?”

Xu Juexi broke free from the other person’s hand, stood up, and ran away: “I was a little carsick on the way here, I’m going to the toilet.”

He finished speaking and pushed open the door before anyone could react, leaving the group of people inside looking at each other in bewilderment.

Wang Zhe looked embarrassed and awkward. He chuckled twice and quickly tried to smooth things over: “This kid probably didn’t sleep well last night and got carsick on the way. He’s really inconsiderate… Xiao Chen, tell the people at the club not to let him run away.”

The young man named Xiao Chen answered.

Actually, Xu Juexi wasn’t lying.

He was dizzy, but not in the car; he was dizzy from the man’s face.

He came to the appointment entirely out of respect for the original owner’s work and manners. He was never the type to swallow his anger. If he hadn’t calculated that there were many people over there and that he might not have gotten the better of them if things got out of hand, he probably would have picked up a bottle and smashed it.

Of course, he couldn’t possibly go back to the private room to let that director take advantage of him. He washed his face and went downstairs to leave, but saw two men dressed in black, who looked like bodyguards, standing at the door blocking his way.

Xu Juexi was startled, but quickly realized that the two people might be trying to stop him. He had seen many such disgusting and sordid methods when he read novels before.

If I were to rush forward, I would definitely be caught and taken back by these people.

He hesitated for a moment, then found a corner in the corridor, pulled out the contact information of the only known good person in the world from his contacts, and wanted to call Gu Fengying.

Just as his fingertips touched the second young master’s name, someone suddenly covered his mouth from behind.

Xu Juexi’s eyes widened, and he struggled violently, opening his mouth to bite the hand covering his mouth.

He took a full bite without holding back, and the person behind him winced and pulled his hand back: “Are you a dog?”

Xu Juexi: “You are!”

He struggled to turn around and saw a somewhat familiar face… It was a member of the Gu family, but he couldn’t recognize who it was for the time being.

But Xu Juexi noticed a faint floral scent mixed with the smell of alcohol on the other person.

He got even angrier: “Are you sick in the head?”

Gu Zhifeng took two steps forward, cornering Xu Juexi against the wall. He stroked Xu Juexi’s cheek, his fingers sliding to Xu Juexi’s lips, prying them open: “I haven’t even asked you what you’re doing here yet. Aren’t you my brother’s good fiancée? What are you doing here, hmm?”

Gu Zhifeng went to the company to sign a contract that night and was then invited here for drinks by his friends. He was incredibly annoyed all night, especially when he saw his best friend with an omega on each arm.

His friend, also a playboy, saw his absent-minded look and whistled teasingly, “What’s with that expression? Finally figured it out? Or should I find an omega to keep you company?”

Gu Zhifeng: “Get lost, don’t mess with me, I’m allergic to omegas.”

While saying this, his mind was filled with the image of that omega.

Seeing his friend’s increasingly annoying expression, Gu Zhifeng got up and said he was going to the restroom to wash his face. But as he stepped outside, he suddenly saw a figure flash past at the end of the corridor.

It looks somewhat familiar.

He went over to see, and sure enough, it was his “sister-in-law”.

All the frustration of the night seemed to vanish the moment he saw Xu Juexi. He touched the omega’s lips, making the omega’s eyes well up with tears: “This place isn’t clean. How come you wouldn’t even have an affair with me this morning, but you come to a place like this to play at night, huh?”

Xu Juexi tried to bite him again, but Gu Zhifeng pulled his hand away in time, preventing him from succeeding. He simply said, “Tell me quickly, what are you here for?”

Xu Juexi: “Going to work.”

Gu Zhifeng: “My sister-in-law actually has this kind of side business?”

Xu Juexi punched him.

The alpha grabbed the hand that was clenched into a fist and then opened it and intertwined their fingers.

Gu Zhifeng shamelessly said, “Don’t be angry, I was just joking.”

”Let me kiss you a little longer, hmm?” He said, moving closer to Xu Juexi despite his protests. But just before he touched him, he suddenly stopped, his face darkening. “What’s that smell on you?”

He sniffed Xu Juexi: “Damn it, who’s on you and what do you smell like? Did someone really touch you? Which idiot did it?”

The frustration that had just subsided surged back up, and a fierce aura spread across Gu Zhifeng’s body: “Tell me who did it? I’m going to…”

The person in front of him was like a dog that had suddenly gone mad. Xu Juexi was afraid that he would suddenly bite him, so he reassured him, “Stop for a moment.”

”Stop what? I kiss you twice and you cry your eyes out, but now you’re offering yourself up for someone else to touch? Why should I?” the alpha gritted his teeth.

Helpless, Xu Juexi stood on tiptoe and touched the alpha’s lips to the corner of his mouth.

Gu Zhifeng was stunned.

Gu Zhifeng: “What…what are you doing?”

Xu Juexi spoke frankly: “I’m afraid you’ll bite people.”

After weighing the pros and cons, he felt that the more important thing now was to avoid contracting rabies than to worry about the matter being exposed and discovered by the protagonist. He made this decision based on his assessment.

Gu Zhifeng snorted coldly.

He touched the corner of his lips, and indeed, as Xu Juexi had hoped, he calmed down a bit. He realized that the pheromone scent on an omega was very faint; it must have just been a slight touch…

Damn, I’m still angry. Who the hell did this?

Before he could start yelling again, Xu Juexi pressed down on his shoulder and said, “Don’t scream yet.”

”Tsk.” Gu Zhifeng said unhappily, “So who did it? You didn’t do it voluntarily, did you?”

He grabbed Xu Juexi’s waist and pressed him against him until he was covered in his scent before he felt a little better.

Xu Juexi didn’t actually like the smell of alcohol, but his omega nature made him feel comfortable smelling an alpha’s pheromones, so he compromised and leaned against the alpha’s chest, unable to resist complaining:

”How could that be? That person looked like someone who had escaped from slaughtering pigs… I ran out immediately.”

He briefly told Gu Zhifeng about how his agent had tricked him into coming here, and that he had noticed that those people seemed to have called someone to block him at the entrance and exit. He also mentioned that he had just called Gu Fengying for help, but he interrupted him as soon as the call connected.

Gu Zhifeng: “Why did you call that guy? Why didn’t you call me? Do you think Gu Fengying is some kind of good person…”

Seeing that he was about to get excited again, Xu Juexi quickly interrupted him: “I don’t have your phone number.”

Gu Zhifeng thought about it and realized it was true, but he still felt uncomfortable all over, so he bent down and bit Xu Juexi’s lips.

He only let go when Xu Juexi, whom he had kissed, was about to hit him again. He said, “What kind of agent is he? He is a pimp, isn’t he? Where is he? Come on, I’ll take you to sign the termination contract.”

Xu Juexi thought about it and felt it wasn’t a bad idea, but he was also a little worried: “What will I do after that? Oh right, there’s also the penalty for breach of contract…”

“If he dares to ask you for anything, he can forget about working in this industry.” Gu Zhifeng said, “As for the future, you can come to my studio. That would make it easier for my sister-in-law to have an affair with me.”

He emphasized the word “affair” with an ambiguous undertone.

Xu Juexi’s attention was focused on the first part of his sentence: “Your studio? What does it do?”

He wasn’t planning to retire from the entertainment industry so soon. Being a star was the original owner’s dream, and he figured that since he had taken over the other person’s body, he should do something for them.

Gu Zhifeng’s expression cracked: “You don’t recognize me?”

Xu Juexi wanted to say that he didn’t really recognize his face, but he swallowed the words back and instead obediently shook his head.

Gu Zhifeng: “Damn? Are you deliberately trying to annoy me? Don’t you recognize me?”

Should I know him?

Xu Juexi was somewhat confused. He tried hard to think, but there was no information about the other person in the memories left to him by the original owner, so he repeated, “I don’t know you.”

”You’re just trying to annoy me.” Gu Zhifeng stopped arguing with him and pulled him out, saying, “Tell me where it is, and I’ll take you there to terminate the contract.”

Xu Juexi had forgotten how to get back to the private room. After he told him the name of the room, he seemed to know the place very well. He pulled him to the door and kicked it open.

The people in the private room were already half-drunk. When the door opened, they assumed Xu Juexi had been dragged back by the club’s thugs, and they cursed vulgarly as if they were about to take off their pants at any moment.

Gu Zhifeng released Xu Juexi’s hand, grabbed the director by the collar, and was about to slam him against the hard corner of the table.

He knew he could recognize people by their pheromones, and he knew that the scent on this person was the same one he had left on Xu Juexi earlier, so he tightened his grip even more.

”Stop, stop, stop… Who are you?”

Xu Juexi’s manager, Wang Zhe, was mainly there to secure resources for his artist. He hadn’t drunk much and was still relatively sober. Seeing the person he had been trying to please being pulled and slammed against a table, he stood up and stepped forward to break up the fight: “What are you doing?”

Gu Zhifeng: “Get lost!”

Director Zhang’s head slammed hard against the corner of the table, instantly sobering Gu Zhifeng up from the pain. He looked at the man who seemed to want to beat him to death, stammering, “What are you doing… no, let’s talk this out, hitting someone is against the law…”

”Breaking the law? Why didn’t you think you were breaking the law when you were doing that? Why didn’t you think you were breaking the law when you were threatening me? Why don’t you call the police and get yourself arrested?” Gu Zhifeng raised his knee and kicked him between the legs, causing him to let out a heart-wrenching howl.

This is truly a feast for slaughtering pigs. Xu Juexi stood at the door watching the show, feeling a mix of emotions.

Wang Zhe watched nervously for a long time. The lighting was dim, and only then did he realize that the person looked somewhat familiar.

Although his methods in the industry are underhanded, he still has basic professional ethics—this person is a top-tier celebrity in the industry, but I don’t know how he got involved with Xu Juexi.

He glanced at Xu Juexi standing at the door, then at Gu Zhifeng’s face, thinking it best not to offend Director Zhang, and stepped forward to smooth things over: “Isn’t there some misunderstanding? We were having a good chat with Director Zhang…”

”Misunderstand?”

Gu Zhifeng looked up: “What misunderstanding is there? You’re his manager, right? How dare you, as his manager, bring your own artist to a place like this?”

”Haha…” Wang Zhe laughed somewhat awkwardly, but said, “This… we’re just having a drink together, and besides, isn’t this something we both agreed to?”

He then hinted to Gu Zhifeng, “Mr. Gu, Director Wang’s films are renowned for their quality in the industry. Perhaps there will be opportunities for collaboration in the future…”

”Renowned?” Gu Zhifeng scoffed. “I could make eight hundred of those terrible movies a day, relying on sheer popularity to boost box office numbers. As for collaborations—”

He released his grip on Director Zhang’s collar: “Don’t you even know my last name? Guess who’ll be the one who can’t make it in this industry later?”

He kicked Director Zhang in the groin again, then turned around, looking as if he was going to beat up Wang Zhe as well.

Xu Juexi was standing at the door watching the show when his cell phone suddenly rang.

He looked down and saw it was Gu Fengying. He had hung up after the call went through, and he had probably seen the notification and called back.

After a moment’s hesitation, he turned around and answered the phone in the hallway.

”Xiaoxi?” Gu Fengying’s voice came through the phone to Xu Jue’s ears, as gentle as ever: “I was busy just now and didn’t answer the phone. Is there something you need?”

Since Gu Zhifeng was there, Xu Juexi didn’t need to trouble him any further, so he said, “No…it’s okay.”

”Oh, really?” Gu Fengying’s voice carried a hint of amusement. “Has Xiaoxi finished work? Where are you? Do you want me to come pick you up and take you home?”

”No need to trouble yourself,” Xu Juexi said. “I can go back by myself later.”

”No trouble at all,” Gu Fengying said with a smile. “It’s hard to get a taxi home. Send me your address, and I’ll come pick you up now.”

”Who are you being all lovey-dovey with?”

Suddenly, a shadow fell over him. Xu Juexi looked up and found that Gu Zhifeng had appeared behind him at some point. His aura was unpredictable, making Xu Juexi instinctively take a half step back in fear.

”Don’t you have any conscience? I’m helping you get revenge, and you’re blushing like this while talking on the phone with someone here?”

Gu Zhifeng approached step by step, grabbing Xu Juexi’s wrist as he held the phone: “Is that person also your lover? Does he know your glands are in your mouth, and that a kiss makes your legs go weak and you get aroused?”
