After he had just finished giving instructions, Feng Zhan’s call came through. Second Young Master Huo was so anxious that he felt like he was about to catch fire. As soon as he answered, Feng Zhan’s cold face appeared in front of him, those deep black eyes startling Huo Junting.

“Feng Zhan, why are you contacting me now? I’m busy.”

“You already know?” Huo Junting exclaimed in surprise.

“I’m watching the live stream,” the other person replied coldly, not at all like someone who would follow a live broadcast.

Huo Junting was too shocked to respond and said, “You’re worried about Luo Xingzhou, right? Don’t worry, I’ve just sent someone down to keep watch over my sister and her group, ready to escort them away at any moment.”

The dense fog in Feng Zhan’s black eyes seemed to disperse slightly, but Huo Junting didn’t notice. Feng Zhan instructed, “You must ensure Luo Xingzhou’s safety. He’s the only grandson of Grandmaster Luo.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely have them all brought back safely.”

“Mm.” Feng Zhan hung up after saying this.

Inwardly, Huo Junting grumbled that Feng Zhan really had a habit of using people and discarding them, too heartless. What he didn’t know was that right after hanging up, Feng Zhan let out a muffled groan, his headache worsening due to his intense worry for Luo Xingzhou. Still, his eyes remained fixed on the live stream.

With Grandmaster Luo’s life or death unknown, even if it didn’t directly involve him, Feng Zhan didn’t want anything to happen to Luo Xingzhou, the grandmaster’s only grandson, right under his nose. He felt responsible for ensuring Luo Xingzhou’s safet

With this thought, a sharp glint flashed in his eyes. He had a few useful people at his disposal. When he had them track down Luo Han and her son, they discovered that two groups were searching for them. One group, he didn’t even need to guess, must be from the Wu family. The other… could it be Grandmaster Luo’s second disciple, Duan Cheng? These two really were in cahoots.

At least until Luo Xingzhou made his intentions clear, Feng Zhan didn’t want anyone disturbing Luo Han and her son.

He had also received word that Wu Zhenqiu and Duan Cheng were planning something big soon. Who knew what those two were up to.

On Hong-ai Star, under the night sky, waves in the lake began crashing against the shore. Then, one by one, transparent tentacles emerged from the water, followed by a massive shadow rising to the surface. The sight of this gigantic creature caused both the person in charge of the spaceship and Huo Junting, who was watching the feed relayed from the ship, to go weak in the knees.

“What is that thing?” the person in charge exclaimed in shock.

“Wait, I’ll find someone to identify it,” Huo Junting forced himself to calm down, quickly capturing the footage and sending it to Feng Zhan. He had his suspicions, but Feng Zhan would know better.

As soon as Feng Zhan opened the video and saw the creature, the veins on his forehead started throbbing. He called Huo Junting and, gritting his teeth, ordered, “Tell the production team, evacuate all personnel from the planet immediately!”

“That’s an S-class Zerg giant jellyfish ship. Once it awakens, it will consume large amounts of food, and it plays an important role within the Zerg. It transports other Zerg. Do you understand what it means for a giant jellyfish ship to appear on Hong-ai Star?”

Hearing Feng Zhan’s words, Huo Junting gasped sharply, “I understand. I’ll have everyone evacuated immediately and notify the military.”

“Good.” Feng Zhan hung up again, and on the other end, Huo Junting quickly contacted his subordinates to get them moving. He also communicated with the person in charge aboard the spaceship. The moment he mentioned the S-class Zerg giant jellyfish ship, the person in charge nearly wet himself in fear and hastily issued the evacuation order.

Huo Junting then sent the recorded footage to the military and contacted military personnel. This matter was far too important. Hong-ai Star wasn’t exactly close to the border of the Interstellar Empire, and the Zerg were supposed to only exist near the border. How had this S-class Zerg made its way deep into the Empire’s interior?

The thought that the Empire might soon face another Zerg invasion sent a shiver down Huo Junting’s spine. The Interstellar Empire had enjoyed too many years of peace. If a war with the Zerg broke out, he couldn’t imagine what the outcome would be.

A surveillance drone still hovered over the lake, and the footage revealed an even clearer view of the massive creature that had surfaced. As its transparent tentacles reached the shore, the green plants on the shore quickly withered, drained of life and energy in mere moments. The lake’s surface was now scattered with the bones of aquatic star beasts and fish.

The person in charge wanted to faint, but he didn’t dare close his eyes and ignore the situation. Gritting his teeth, he continued to capture and report each frame of the footage, while urging the mech teams to speed up and bring the remaining contestants aboard without delay.

Currently, there were only fifteen survivors on Hong-ai Star: Luo Xingzhou’s group of six, Neil and Ding Changhuan, and seven others who had scattered. The other fifteen had died due to various accidents.

The creature’s tentacles formed bridges, and the massive body split open, revealing countless creatures pouring out. Some took to the sky on wings, while others crawled along the tentacle bridges toward the shore.

The person in charge was utterly despairing. “Second Young Master Huo was right. It really is Zerg. An S-class giant jellyfish ship… on Hong-ai Star… it’s over.”

The boss didn’t just have one survival live stream program; his business empire was huge. Sending thirty people to Hong-ai Star for the live stream was just the first step. After the exploration, the next phase was to develop Hong-ai Star and extract more value from it. But now, with the Zerg invading, what value did Hong-ai Star have left?

On Hong-ai Star, Neil was far faster than Ding Changhuan, so it didn’t take long for him to catch up. When Ding Changhuan saw Neil running so fast, he was terrified and his legs went weak. “Neil Ge, save me! I’ll agree to anything you want.”

“So troublesome!” Neil regretted bringing this dead weight along, but he couldn’t just leave a teammate behind, as it would hurt his image in the live stream. So he picked up Ding Changhuan, threw him over his shoulder, and continued running.

Those who had insulted Neil as an idiot earlier now changed their tune, praising him for having a higher moral standard than Ding Changhuan. At least Neil hadn’t abandoned his teammate in a desperate escape, even though Ding Changhuan wasn’t much of a teammate. Even if Neil had left him behind, no one would have blamed him.

But Neil still took him along, so the viewers could only hope that Ding Changhuan wouldn’t pull any more disgusting stunts. Otherwise, they—the netizens and audience—would tear him apart.

The sense of danger grew stronger and stronger, until Neil heard a buzzing sound behind him in the air. At the same time, the light under the night sky dimmed. He couldn’t help but turn his head to look, and what he saw gave him such a fright that he nearly dropped Ding Changhuan.

Ding Changhuan saw it too and screamed in terror, “What is that thing?”
