The Truck driver dropped Kevin off at a hotel before driving off, to drop Kevin’s car at an auto shop like they’d discussed during the drive here.

Kevin then went into the hotel and payed for a room before heading upstairs.

Fortunately his bank account still worked in this world, as strange as it seemed.Full novel: INVINCIBLE: Watch me save her world. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

With the allowance his parents had sent him over the years, he should be able to last on his own for a while.

Kevin reached his room and entered, closing the door behind him before slumping back first on the bed.

” So this is really happening huh…” He said to himself while staring at the ceiling.

The turned his head to the side to look at the Omnitrix, even know he still couldn’t believe he was able to acquire such a thing.

An item once made by one of the most brilliant mind in several galaxies was just there on his wrist.

Kevin sat up straight and stared intently at the watch, his right hand reaching towards the dile only for him to stop.

With how unpredictable this darn this was sometimes, who knew what sort of alien he’d turn into.

In the end, Kevin simply decided to turn the dile to check how many aliens he had at his disposal.

” There’s four arms, Diamond head, Grey matter, Wild mutt….”

” ….and ghost freak.” At the sight of the last one, Kevin had a pale look on his face.

He let out a sigh nevertheless.

Just like in the beginning series, all the aliens he expected to see were here, ten and accounted for.

‘ I wonder if I can call Mom though.’ Kevin thought as he retrieved his phone and dialed his mother’s number.

Ring~ Ring~

His phone rang for awhile, which at least gave him hope.

” Ummm is this the pizza delivery guy.” But when he heard the deep voice of what he could only assume was some random teen on the other end of the phone, he quickly hung up before tossing it aside.

” Urrrgh…” He groaned in frustration before falling onto the bed again.

Right now he really couldn’t think of any other way he could use to get back home.

As for why he was here.

He had a hunch but he just didn’t want to believe.

Kevin simply stared at the Omnitrix on his wrist for a while before deciding it was time to head on to bed.

The next morning.

” Uwahh” Kevin yawned while stretching as he woke up.

The sunlight from the world outside drew his attention, a light smile on his face, but when he spotted the watch on his wrist from the corner of his eyes, that smiled vanished just as quickly.

‘ This really isn’t a dream…

F*CK.’ Kevin wiped his face with his hand, still as unexcited as ever.

He went ahead to freshen up before heading out.

He made sure to check out of the hotel before leaving.

Outside, he took out his phone and called the tow truck driver who then gave him the mechanics number, after talking with a staff at the auto shop, he hung up.

” Looks like I won’t be driving around anytime soon.” He let out a breath before walking along.

He stopped at a cafe but not before purchasing some stuff like a laptop and a backpack.

‘ If I’m going to be staying here for the foreseeable future, I’m going to need a place of my own.’ he thought as he typed on his laptop.

‘ It wouldn’t hurt to use some money and buy a house.

Probably one located somewhere safe far from the slums, with fewer chances of alien invasions and murderous villains.’ he said to himself before taking a bite out of the beagle he ordered.

” Ommfg~(Oh?)” Kevin’s brows rose a bit when he saw an ad that caught his interest.

” Quiet neighborhood charm paired with top-tier suburban security.

Enjoy peaceful evenings and an incredibly easy, traffic-free drive to work….

Hmm.”

” I might as well check it out.” Kevin said.

His fingers quickly went to work, scheduling a meeting.

” Oh?” Some minutes later, he got a reply asking when he’d like to see the property.

Not being one to waste time, he typed in to meet as soon as possible.

******

Sometime later…

A cab stopped Infront of a house where a man in a suit was waiting.

Kevin payed the driver and got out of cab.

” Mr Kevin, I presume?” The man asked with a professional smile walking over and offering a handshake.

Kevin nodded.

” And you are?”

” Paul, Sir, you may call me Paul.” Paul said with a smile.

” I heard you’d like to purchase one of our homes.” He added.

Kevin on the other hand paused, raising a brow.

” Is something wrong, Sir?” Paul asked.

” Not at all…

To be honest I’m quite surprised.” Kevin chuckled a bit.

” Quite frankly I was expecting a rather different welcome on account of my appearance.”

” While it’s rare for us to deal with clients your age, Sir.

I try my best to make sure every customer of ours walks away with the perfect home.” Paul smiled awkwardly and said.

” That’s quite the glib tongue you have there Paul.” Kevin giggled, no matter which world he was on, humouring people like this always felt nice, one of the perks of coming from a simple wealthy family.

” Care to have a look around?” Paul suggested.

” Certainly, please lead the way.” Kevin said before following the man inside.

*******

Several minutes later…

” Well Paul I won’t lie, the tour was quite splendid.” Kevin said.

” I’m glad you feel that way, Mr…I mean, Kevin.”

” Still can’t do it huh.” Kevin joked, during the tour he’d asked him to drop the formalities but it seemed it was a tad troublesome for the man.

” I’ll be taking the house, can you please help me finalise the paperwork personally, I promise I’ll add a bit extra on your part for all the hardwork.”

” Of course not, Sir, just leave it all to me, I promise you won’t be disappointed.” Paul said with a look of reassurance.

” Alright then, I’ll be leaving it all to you.” Kevin said before using his phone a bit.

He then raised his head before beginning to walk towards a stopping cab.

” I’ve sent you the payment already, once again, thank you.” Kevin said before getting in.

” No, thank you, Sir.” Paul waved goodbye as the cab drove off.

Don’t get impatient on me now, the funs about to begin (ㆁωㆁ)(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)(✷‿✷) This Dukling still got some tricks up his sleeve.
