The Cab stopped just outside a restaurant.
Kevin payed the man and got out.
” Burger mart…
This is the place he works part-time.” Kevin muttered after glancing at the sign on the building.
‘ If I can at least get him on my side, maybe we can stop Omni-Man from doing…..’ at the thought of the gruesome fate the future held, Kevin shivered a bit.

” Umm excuse me but can I speak with the manager.” Kevin said after approaching the counter.
” Uhh?
What for?” The cashier, a guy, said.
” I was wondering if you guys had any openings, I’m kinda looking for a job right now.”
” Oh?…
ohhhh.” The cashier said, ” Well I’m sorry to break it to ya bud, but the manager isn’t here right now, maybe come back in the evening.”
‘ I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case.’ Kevin sighed.
” Alright, but can I at least have a burger and some fries to go.”
” Sure thing pal, coming right up.” The cashier said with a smile.
” Make that to go, please.”
” Just leave it to us.” The cashier grinned.
Kevin waited for a bit before they handed him his food, wrapped and ready to go.
He paid and then left.
‘ I really need to get my car back soon…’ Kevin groaned as he hailed another cab before hopping in.
He sat in the back seat, gazing out at the passing scenery.
‘ Should I just back home and wait?’
‘ Or maybe branch somewhere else?’
‘ Is there really a point in coming back here, I mean who’s to say the manager would be around when I do come back.’ Kevin supported his chin with his fist while staring out the window.
‘ Besides, is it really the best bet to put all my hopes in him?
I mean the guy had his ass handed to him by his dad throughout.’ Kevin massaged his temple feeling exhausted.
He then glanced at the watch on his wrist for a moment.
‘ Maybe the best thing to do is try and master this…’ he said while looking at the Omnitrix.
‘ With the Guardians practically dead and the shortage of heroes becoming more obvious, maybe if I could become an actual hero, and join the new Guardians of the globe along with the GDA, with their help, we might be able to take down Omni-Man before he even does anything!’
” That’s it!” Kevin slammed his fist on the door handle, excited.
” Hey!
Watch it!” The cab driver complained.
” Sorry…” Kevin smiled awkwardly.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
“..?!!” Both Kevin and the cab drivers attention quickly shifted towards a direction in which they heard gunshots.
Kevin glanced through the window and saw that outside, there seemed to be some disturbance at some bank.
” You know what, I think I’ll be getting off here.” He told the driver.
” Huh?
You sure?” The driver replied.
” Yes!” He replied, stunning the man.
” Alright, hold your horses.” The man grumbled before coming to stop.
Kevin had already transferred the payment to him so he opened the door of the car and ran out.
” What’s got him all up in a hurry?” The cab driver commented.
Meanwhile Kevin found an empty alleyway nearby.
‘ Never thought I’d actually get to use this so soon.’ Kevin said nervously whilst staring at the watch.
‘ But who should I pick?’
‘ Since it’s a bank robbery, let’s go with someone fast, like XLR8.’ Kevin quickly dialed the alien.
The watch shut up.
‘ Fingers crossed.’ Kevin gritted his teeth before slamming down.
What followed was a bright flash of green light that filled the dark alley.

” Hands on the ground were I can see them, Now!” A robber with a black skee mask on his face with a pistol in hand, said.
Around him were frightened civilians all trembling on the ground, some with their faces to the floor, too scared to look up.
” Would you hurry it up back there?!
We’re running out of time you know!” The robber said to his partner who was by the counter with an open back which the bank clerk, a blonde woman, was filling up with cash, their faces pale with fright as sweat dripped down their forehead.
” Hey!
Don’t rush me!
I’m not the one wasting time!” His partner said, glaring at the bank clerk.
” Listen bitch, you better speed things up or it’s your brain that’s getting blown on the floor, you hear!” The robbers partner pressed the muzzle of his gun onto the womans forehead, making her yelp in fright.
” Don’t AHH me bitch!
I said hurry it up or–” The robber cursed at the woman but nearing the end of his sentence, his pupils couldn’t help but constrict when he saw something at the bottom of his eye.
” Richard!
Behind you!” He managed to yell out.
His partner stiffened, swinging his head around.
THUD!
CHOMP!
” ARRGHH!!” But he was a step too late.
A brown furry creature knocked him down onto his face, before biting down on his wrist.
” Who’s fucking dog is this?!” Pain coursed through the robber as he dropped his gun.
” Get off him you damned mutt!” The other robber pulled his gun.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
He fired shot after shot, but as the first one was fired, the beast already reacted before hand, leaping off the robber.
With the beast gone, the bullet struck the robber square in the head.
The robber was completely unaware as he continued to fire at the fleeing beast.
To his disbelief, the beast began ran up the wall during the process before leaping off it, grabbing a ceiling structure.
The man fired several more bullet but his trigger reflexes were far slower than the beasts own agility as it leaped away without a single wound.
And so the man continued to fire shot after shot but to no avail.
What he failed to notice was that the beast would only leap onto areas without people, shielding them from the bullet rush.
” DAMNIT!
JUST DIE ALREADY YOU MONSTER!” the robber, already nearing despair cried out as he fired more and more.
Click~ Click~ Click~
” No…No no no no no.” The moment his cartridge turned empty, he began panicking even more.
The creature seemed to realise the same thing, stopping it’s frantic movements.
It stood atop a desk, growling in a low tone that frightened the robber, but what frightened him the most was when he finally got a good look at the creature.
” What in the world are you….” He stuttered, nearly tripping over when he saw no eyes or snout on the creatures face.
“AAAGGGHH!!!” The Beast let out a roar before charging at him.
” No!
No!
Stay away from me!!!” Overwhelmed by fear, the robber tried scampering away.
He got up and turned around to flee but.
SMASH!
What greeted him was a keyboard to the face.
The robber spun around from the blow before dropping down on the ground, completely knocked out.
The charging beast paused in its steps, tilting it’s head as if staring at the blonde clerk who was currently panting with the computer keyboard in hand.
Clearly it hadn’t expected things to turn out this way.
Beep~ Beep~ Beep~
‘ So soon?!’ Kevin cried inwardly when the Omnitrix on his shoulder began blinking red.
The bank clerk who was watching him as if not sure whether he was a threat or not, blinked her eyes in suprise when she saw him race out the door.
HONK!
” HEY– ARRGHH!!
WHAT IS THAT?!” A driver on the road almost ran Kevin over but he was quick enough to land on his hall before leaping off, quickly bolting towards a nearby alley way.
