A week passed in the blink of an eye.
The days following the encounter with Uzaki were intense, but extremely productive.
Isagi divided his time between gym training, dojo sessions, football training, studies—although those were now a secondary priority—and, most importantly, the girls who now occupied an important space in his life…..
With Alya, the relationship evolved visibly.
After their shopping mall date and the exchange of engagement rings, she seemed to have finally accepted her role as a real girlfriend.
The two began going out together more frequently: discreet dinners, nighttime walks, and even a few cinema sessions just for the two of them.
Although she still maintained her tsundere personality, Alya had become much more affectionate and attached to him.
On one of the nights that week, she even met Isagi’s parents during a family dinner.
Despite spending most of the night nervous and overly formal, she ended up winning everyone over.
Isagi’s mother immediately adored the silver-haired girl, while Alya was surprised by how warm and welcoming his family was.
When they were alone, however, their relationship was far more intense…..
The kisses, which used to end quickly, now lasted for long minutes, the desire between them increasing with each meeting.
Isagi was already able to explore her body with much more freedom, sliding his hands over her waist, caressing her thighs, and, in more intense moments, squeezing her breasts over or under her clothes.
Alya always ended up completely red in these situations, but she rarely pushed him away.
On more than one occasion, the two came dangerously close to crossing the final boundary.
Still, at the last moment, Alya always found the strength to stop things, hiding her flushed face and murmuring that she still wasn’t ready to take that step.
Isagi respected her decision without question.
That didn’t mean, however, that it was easy.
As their feelings and intimacy grew, controlling his own desire became an increasingly difficult task.
Aside from that, he continued spending time with Hana and, now, also with Marin.
With Hana, the encounters were quite random.
She always found some random activity to drag him into.
In just one week, the two spent hours in arcades, visited parks, and even attended a karaoke session that ended with Hana singing terribly for nearly two straight hours…..
As always, she remained absurdly glued to him.
She walked while holding onto his arm, invaded his personal space without any ceremony, and never missed a single opportunity to tease him.
Still, behind all that energy and constant teasing, Isagi was beginning to notice something increasingly obvious.
Hana really liked him…
The signs were everywhere: the lingering looks when she thought he wasn’t paying attention, the way she would unexpectedly become quiet whenever she received a sincere compliment, and the countless excuses she made to prolong their meetings for a few more hours…..
With Marin, on the other hand, things followed a much stranger rhythm…?
After hearing Isagi’s request, his mother agreed to help her with the costume she so desired.
Marin was absolutely ecstatic about the news.
The two quickly scheduled for her to go to his house the following weekend, where they could take measurements, discuss project details, and plan the creation of the outfit.
Since then, Marin hadn’t stopped sending messages.
Isagi’s phone was constantly flooded with thank-yous, emojis, and long excited voice messages about cosplay ideas.
In one of the messages, she even promised she would find some special way to “repay him” for the help.
Isagi didn’t exactly know what she meant by that.
Considering it was Marin, however, he had the feeling that any attempt to guess would probably be wrong….
He also ended up going out a few times with Yuki over the course of the week.
The meetings were calm, but pleasant, and served to bring the two even closer.
As if that wasn’t enough, Kaguya also surprised him by inviting him on a date the following weekend.
The invitation was made with her usual elegance and confidence, but there was an evident expectation behind her words…..
Deep down, he knew his thoughts were selfish.
A part of him wanted to keep enjoying those moments with each of them without giving anything up.
He liked Alya’s shy smile when she let her guard down, Hana’s contagious energy, the lightness he felt when talking to Marin, Yuki’s calm presence, and even Kaguya’s elegant and intriguing aura.
It wasn’t just physical attraction or some attempt to act cool; he genuinely appreciated each of them for who they were.
Maybe that was exactly what made everything more complicated.
If his feelings were superficial, it would be easy to walk away.
But the more he got to know those girls, the harder it became to ignore the selfish desire to keep them all by his side for as long as possible….
It was while reflecting on all of this that Isagi ended up mentioning the idea of having a harem to Alya.
It all started when he commented that he was in a complicated situation.
In recent months, he had realized that several girls around him harbored genuine feelings for him.
The problem was that, the more he thought about it, the harder it became to simply ignore those feelings or reject them without consideration.
He wasn’t saying he had already made a definitive decision, but he admitted he didn’t know what the right choice was when every path seemed destined to hurt someone.
After all, each of those girls held an important place in his life, and the idea of hurting people he genuinely cared about bothered him more than he wanted to admit.
It was this conversation, more than the idea of a harem itself, that ended up unsettling Alya.
For the first time, she realized that the feelings of the other girls were not something that would simply disappear just because she was his girlfriend.
In a world where relationships like that were not exactly uncommon, he ended up mentioning that some people, when faced with similar situations, chose to form a harem instead of picking only one partner.
He didn’t present it as a decision he had already made, but rather as a possibility that had crossed his mind while trying to find a solution to a problem that seemed to have no perfect answer.
Still, Alya’s initial reaction was anything but positive.
She clearly showed her displeasure, argued with him, and even stayed distant for an entire day.
However, as they continued talking about the subject and she had time to organize her own feelings, her resistance gradually decreased.
Although she was still far from accepting the idea enthusiastically, she began to approach it more rationally, taking her first steps toward understanding and, slowly, accepting that possibility…..
Even so, for him, it had been surprisingly easier than expected.
When he decided to bring up the subject for the first time, he was prepared for a much worse reaction.
Honestly, he didn’t even believe he would be able to take that first step without causing a much more serious argument or even putting the relationship itself at risk.
Because of that, although Alya had gotten angry, distanced herself for a day, and made her dissatisfaction clear, the simple fact that she was still willing to talk about it already exceeded his expectations.
He knew her acceptance was still very far from complete, but the fact that Alya hadn’t outright rejected the idea made him see it as a small step forward.
Perhaps the road ahead would still be complicated, but for the first time, he felt it wasn’t a completely impossible possibility….
But that was a problem for Isagi of the future to solve.
At the moment, there was no reason to keep overthinking something that was still far from being decided…..

.
It was Thursday late afternoon.
Isagi had just arrived home after an exhausting football training session and a full day of exams that seemed never-ending.
His backpack slipped off his shoulder.
Thump.
He threw it onto the bed and, in the next moment, let his own body fall beside it.
He sank onto the mattress on his back and let out a long, heavy sigh filled with exhaustion.
Isagi remained motionless for a few moments, staring at the ceiling of his room as if it could somehow offer answers to the countless thoughts that had been piling up in his mind over the past few days.
Then he raised one arm and covered his eyes with his forearm.
He stayed like that for a while, breathing deeply while organizing his thoughts.
Football, school, Alya, Hana, Marin, Yuki, Kaguya, his future…
everything seemed to be spinning at the same time inside his head, turning what should have been simple into a confusing mess that was hard to ignore.
A few minutes later, he let out a long sigh and removed his arm from his face, shaking his head in denial as if trying to push away the thoughts tormenting him.
Then he got up from the bed and walked to the small table beside the headboard, letting his body collapse into the chair with a tired air.
His hand moved almost purely by reflex, pulling open the bottom drawer.
Inside it rested his notebook.
Without wasting time, he took it out, placed it on the table, and pressed the power button.
The screen lit up, filling the room with a soft bluish glow.
He opened YouTube and his fingers began moving across the keyboard almost automatically.
Before he even realized it, he had already typed the name of his own channel: FutebolGoat, a project he had created about two weeks ago.
Its growth, however, had been completely unexpected—the channel had already surpassed one million subscribers.
All of it came from a single type of content: edits of decisive moments and absurd football plays.
Japanese players, European players, Korean players… anyone who was trending at the moment became material.
The result was chaotic in terms of performance; videos hitting 10 million views, others easily reaching 5 million, and some viral clips surpassing 30 million without apparent effort.
He opened the monetization dashboard.
The numbers loaded slowly on the screen.
Monthly estimate: ¥ 48.000.000 He stared at the amount for a few seconds, mentally recalculating the result.
Considering the absurd volume of views on the channel and a high average RPM for global football content, boosted by international traffic, high retention, and constant viral spikes, something around ¥40,000,000 to ¥60,000,000 per month was perfectly plausible at that level of performance, especially with high-reach videos consistently sustaining the channel.
In other words, he was basically going to become a millionaire as soon as the first AdSense payment hit his account.
Still with his mind spinning in shock, he took a deep breath and tried to regain focus.
There was no point getting lost in that number now.
His fingers returned to the keyboard, and he began filling out the bank form with forced calm, as if it were just another normal step in the process, although internally everything still felt somewhat unreal.
Isagi clicked the last field of the form, checked his account number three times, and only then pressed “Confirm.” Then he let his body sink into the chair again, letting out a long sigh—the kind that feels like it had been held in all day without permission to escape.
“Alright… time to work.” He picked up a USB cable and connected his phone to the notebook, hearing the soft click that confirmed the connection.
The screen flickered and opened the file explorer, loading with the typical slowness of an old machine being forced back to life.
The video folder gradually appeared: small “treasures” accumulated during rare moments of free time.
Full matches, raw compilations still unedited, and isolated clips captured exactly at the moment the impossible happened at the feet of football geniuses.
He spent hours editing.
When he finally blinked and leaned back in the chair, almost surprised by the slight pain in his shoulders, he realized that four videos were ready, fully finished.
Exported, rendered, with synchronized subtitles.
Optimized tags.
Descriptions adjusted in that tone between dry humor and calculated technical arrogance, the kind of combination that usually performed well in football communities and highlight groups.
He took a deep breath.
And then posted them.
Finishing all of it, he yawned.
Sleep had already started weighing on him over an hour earlier, but he had insisted on completing every detail before stopping.
Now, with everything done, there was no reason left to stay awake.
He closed his eyes for a moment, letting his body relax in the chair, as if finally allowing himself to shut down.
