KEIFER’s POV
Walking through the hallways of the premium bar, I could hear the loud, excited voices that were all too familiar.
Section E.
They were the only people who could turn a high-end bar into a playground.
Despite reserving the top floor’s ultra soundproof VVIP room, they somehow managed to break the peaceful silence.
We had all planned to meet tonight after five years apart.
Life had taken us in different directions after high school, but the bond we shared had never truly faded despite the distance and time differences.
As I turned the handle of the door and stepped into the room, the silence that followed was blissful, but it shattered within three seconds.
“Attention everyone, the King is finally here!” someone—probably Felix—shouted at the top of their lungs.
I huffed, rolling my eyes.
“Here we go.”
“Keifer—!”
“Boss—!”
“Bro—!”
They all started chanting in chorus before I could even settle down.
I walked into the room, taking my place beside my usual best friends: Aries, Percy, Yuri, and David.
They each had drinks in hand.
“Finally, someone decided to show up,” Yuri teased, laughing.
“Or we were gonna declare that the King was busy chasing his Queen.”
“Keif baby, what took you so long?” Percy said dramatically.
“My handsome face was getting impatient for you.”
“Shut up, Percy,” I shot back, smirking.
“Before I regret calling you here.”
The other three shook their heads, trying not to laugh at our banter.
I glared at them before grabbing a glass of drink that had already been served.
I looked around the room.
Ci–n, Felix, and Blaster had hijacked the karaoke machine, singing completely off-key.
Kit and Mayo were lost in their own world, oblivious to the chaos around them.
Edrix and Rory were shoving food into their mouths like it was their last meal, glancing around occasionally.
In one corner, Eren couldn’t stop telling Josh about his girlfriendsss, while Drew was busy betting with Danzel, Eman, and Calix about who would be the first to get drunk.
They were still the same. This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.
I remembered our time in HVIS vividly—the chaos, the bickering, the senseless arguments, and the visits to the principal’s office.
And in the middle of it all was Jay.
Despite being a junior, she had somehow become the heart of our section, She usually came for Aries and Percy, but eventually finding her way to stay longer.
It felt like I am back seventeen again.
With Section E, life was never peaceful; we always ended up breaking something or getting kicked out of somewhere.
But I would never regret calling them my friends.
Breaking the silence, David asked, “So, Keifer,” a mischievous smile tugging at his lips, “how’s our Mutya? Have you confessed your feelings yet?”
My jaw clenched so hard that I wondered if my teeth would crack.
Aries and Percy stopped mid-laugh, mirroring my expression.
That question caught everyone’s attention.
The silence that followed felt like someone had clicked the pause button.
“No,” I said, my voice low.
“She is getting married in two days.”
Everyone stopped breathing for a beat before erupting.
“WHAT—!?”
“HOW—!?”
“WHEN—!?”
The reaction was explosive.
They all knew about my feelings for Jay.
They knew exactly who had beaten the crap out of the guys who dared to glance at her.
“Is that fucker—what was his name? Oh yes, Liam—her groom?” Calix asked.
“Are they still together?”
Before I could respond, Aries jumped in.
“Yes, Liam is the groom. But we found out things about him.”
They knew about Liam.
And they also knew he was the only person who hadn’t faced my possessiveness.
Aries and Percy told them everything we found.
As Aries finished explaining what we had uncovered, the curses that followed were instantaneous.
“Damn it—!”
“Fuck—!”
“Hell—!”
“Son of bitch—!”
“So what now?” Eman asked, his voice serious.
“Are you letting her go? Are you really going to let this wedding happen?” You are reading on novelping.com, the official source.
“Oh, fucking hell no!” I snapped, my anger flaring.
“There’s no way I will let her go! She was mine and will be mine!”
CI–N’s POV
The tension in the room was thick enough to choke on.
To lighten the mood, I decided to crack a joke.
“Alright, everyone, we all know how head over heels Keifer is for Jay,” I said with a playful smirk.
“I mean, he nearly took out a hell out of the guy for just looking at her! And we end up cleaning the mess.”
Laughter erupted around the room, and the atmosphere shifted as everyone began reminiscing about our high school days—all of it came flooding back, and it felt good to relive those memories.
After a while, I nudged Felix, signaling that we should step outside for a moment.
We excused ourselves from the group and made our way down the hallway toward the washroom.
As we walked, I caught sight of a familiar figure near the bar stalls at the bottom of the stairs.
A wide grin spread across my face as I nudged Felix’s arm, pointing toward the person.
“Look who it is!” I exclaimed, excitement bubbling up inside me.
We exchanged a knowing glance before turning toward the figure and shouting as loud as we can in unison.
“MUTYA—!”
