KEIFER’s POV
The second I got to know Jay’s boyfriend proposed her for marriage…and she said yes….my blood boiled …that asshole , how dare he?
No , I thought , I can’t let this happen , she was, is, and will be mine , forever , no matter what , even if she hated me .
The very next morning I drive towards Mariano Estate , the moment I reached the mansion’s large gates, the sensor detected and allowed my car inside , because practically it’s my second home , our grandfathers were best friends—ride or die—so we are a family with bonds.
Every Sunday brunch.
Every events together.
But since childhood , Jay hated me from our very first meeting , just because I ate a slice of pancake from her plate and for compansation I kissed her—on cheeks .And she punched me so hard , the bruises lastest for a week.
But at the very same time , I fell for her , harder , because she was different , she was not like other girls .
Sharp tongue , fights like man , eat more than anyone present , and beautiful , ofcourse .
At starting it was just a crush , but as we started meeting more and more , I fell for her.
We studied in same school , though I was her senior , but still she saw me as her enemy , and I pretended that she was mine at the very same time , I always fight with her , each and every bickering made me fall more , and I secretly started loving her the most.
But the time we got in University , she got herself a boyfriend.
I was actually devastated.
The main problem was , her boyfriend was nice , or just pretend to be one , like every girl’s dream boy , I searched his whole history and found no flaw.
But I still doubt that can’t be possible.
He don’t look as innocent as he shows.
But still a clean report.
And that’s why I don’t have any proof to break them up.
But yesterday, he just proposed my Jay .
So here I am.
I saw Tita and Tito on couch.
Tito was having his green tea, his most favourite , while reading newspaper.
Tita scrolling through her device.
I greeted them the second I sat on a couch.
“Good morning everyone.”
“Good morning, Anak” Tita said , already happy to see me “You came at very right time ,anak, the breakfast is going to serve in a while.”
“Very good morning, handsome man.”Tito said, looking up from newspaper for a beat.
“Finally you missed me, right?”.
“Very funny Tito.” I replied.
Before any of them could say anything, a loud yell greet us.
Ofcourse Jay Jay.
“Percy I am going to kill you , seriously, it’s just 8 in the morning and I woke up getting soaked on my bed.” Jay yelled at her brother, typical Jay.
Probably, Percy must have thrown the whole bucket of water, because why not , Jay jay sleeps like a dead to the world.
” Baby sistah, just get up, and start your wonderful day with my handsome face.” Percy replied.
I could practically imagine Jay rolling her eyes.
“The only one thing I woke up and saw is the most–ugly–blue–eyed–monkey face Percy,so shut up.” She shot back.
We all started laughing.
“You wounded me baby sistah” Percy replied while coming downstairs.
We had our special handshake.
“Fuck you Percy” Jay shouted from her room.
After sometime she reached towards couch , still sleepy but changed from whatever PJs she would have been wearing and faceplanted herself directly on couch.
“Hey Jay-Jay , missed me?” I greeted with a smirk—which annoyed her the most back in highschool…and knowing her , she don’t even know I was sitting here.
She snapped her head towards me so fast…I doubt her neck bone didn’t crack.
Her eyes now devoid of sleepiness .
“Watson…!?” She said and I waved my hands lazyly at her with lazy smirk.
Then she muttered under her breath.”Another monkey…
what a great start.” but I heard her.
I just chunkled.
“Btw I heard you are getting married…who is that unlucky guy.” I said with smirk even though I was planning 100 ways to kill that man who even thought of future with my jay.
She sat up straight and said in deadpan tone ” That’s none of your business, Watson.”
“Tito…I was just asking , but look at her , she doesn’t even acknowledged me.” I said innocent but with that small smirk which was only for Jay.
JAYs POV
“Keifer , for god’s sake , just shut up.” I yelled at Keifer, who currently looking so pleased at himself for my mental breakdown at early 8 AM.
“Jay-jay, I am just saying, how could you like a monkey—faced guy, literally I look far more handsome than him” He said while throwing his chin slightly up and running his hands through his dark, messy hair.
I groaned “What’s your problem?” Finally facing him .” I am the one getting married to him.
Liam is way more handsome than you.You are just jealous of him”
He scoffed “Me” pointing at himself “jealous, oh please , I don’t get jealous of a monkey.”
“Can you stop calling him monkey.” I snapped throwing my head back on couch ” Oh my god”.
I turned towards Dad sitting on another couch reading newspaper so calmly like nothing is wrong in this house ” Dad,why even he is here?”
Dad put newspaper aside the moment I spoke to him “Princess,he is here just because he missed us. Let him be, this is also his home”
“Thanks Tito , atleast someone really cares about me” he replied dramatically by placing his hand on chest.
“Seriously, Dad.
” I said throwing my hands up in air “He is not here just because he missed us…he is practically judging my fiance’s existence ”
My dad only chunkled, and Keifer, he was smirking at my suffering, while giving high five to Percy.
I glared at Percy, he was supporting Keifer just because he is also against my fiance.
I look around Dad was sipping his tea, though behind his porcelain cup he was smiling.
Mom just giggled.
I just huffed “I am done with him.” and got up and shoot glare at Keifer “Be at your home , Watson. You are stealing my parents” and started walking towards kitchen because I was hell hungry.
Dealing with Keifer was energy consuming.
As I walked towards kitchen, I can hear him laughing behind me.
I hate him the most.
He is my worst enemy ever.
