In the Grey Mist Space, they could not exchange physical matter; they could only synchronize their abilities and exchange information.

But was the transmission of information really such a cumbersome thing?

Since all the Levis entered the Grey Mist Space wearing clothes, there was theoretically no restriction against holding two brains in their hands when they came in.Full novel: JJK: Starting with the Dog and Dragon Talismans — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When the time came, Night City Levi could simply use his cybernetics within the Grey Mist Space to scan the brain structure of a jujutsu sorcerer.

This wouldn’t involve any cross-realm transport of matter.

“But why tonight?”

Jujutsu Levi asked, confused.

Night City Levi sighed.

“When Mahito uses ‘Idle Transfiguration,’ he at least needs physical contact with the enemy.

But after Kenjaku consumes Mahito, she can directly apply Idle Transfiguration on a massive scale to ordinary people throughout the entire Culling Game barrier.”

“The Jujutsu High members in the original story were fine because the power of this long-range Idle Transfiguration was reduced and couldn’t break through their cursed energy protection, but you don’t have any cursed energy.”

“You’re just an ordinary person.

Idle Transfiguration in Kenjaku’s hands is a far greater threat to you than it is in Mahito’s.”

Wizarding Levi added, “You have the Dog Talisman, so you’ve already countered Sukuna.

The only thing you need to guard against is anyone using the ‘Idle Transfiguration’ technique on you.”

Marvel-Vought Levi nodded in agreement.

“Exactly.

So, it’s either awakening cursed energy tonight or killing Mahito tonight.

Comparatively, the former carries slightly less risk.”

“Everyone makes a good point.” Jujutsu Levi nodded, convincing himself.

If Idle Transfiguration couldn’t affect him while he possessed the Dog Talisman, then whatever he did would be zero-risk.

If Idle Transfiguration did pose a threat to him, then acting before Kenjaku consumed Mahito to gain the technique was the path of least risk.

No matter the outcome, taking action tonight was indeed the optimal solution.

Night City Levi patted Jujutsu Levi on the shoulder and encouraged him, “Good luck, me.

Our startup depends on you.”

“I have a hunch that as long as one of us obtains an energy like cursed energy or magic, it will inevitably lead to the others awakening similar powers.”

“Only then will we truly be standing at the starting line of the myriad heavens and worlds.”

Levi blinked, and as his vision refocused, he found himself back on the streets of Shibuya.

If he hadn’t felt his physical attributes invisibly skyrocketing several times over, Levi would have thought everything just now was merely a hallucination.

“The cheat for the simultaneous transmigration trope—stacking physical attributes is indeed a basic feature.”

With the Dog Talisman, Levi’s body was in peak condition at every moment, making the stacking of physical attributes far more distinct for him than for the other three.

Levi moved his body a bit; a light push off his toes sent him roughly his own height into the air.

“Phew.

Pure physical strength…

it should be around the level of Yuji without cursed energy, right?”

The mere stacking of physical stats had already pushed him beyond the realm of ordinary humans.

But without cursed energy, he could only be said to be slightly stronger than a mortal—a strong mortal, essentially.

For Levi, who possessed the Talismans, strength was secondary; the main benefit was the enhancement of his reflexes and speed.

Cursed energy’s reinforcement of the physical body was extraordinarily powerful.

If his base stats weren’t high enough, it would be embarrassing if the flames from the Dragon Talisman couldn’t hit anyone.

“Now then, two…

no, three curse users’ brains.”

Levi looked up, scanning the streets of Shibuya.

“I remember there are quite a few curse users in Shibuya.”

Without further hesitation, Levi immediately took action.

However, Shibuya was huge.

Trying to find curse users who were deliberately hiding was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Just then, Levi noticed a crowd of ordinary people crying out at the end of the road.

They were throwing themselves against a pitch-black thin veil, pounding on it with force, crying, threatening, and pleading to be let out.

That veil connected to the dark sky, bluntly cutting off the path of survival for these people and enveloping more than half of Shibuya.

“It’s a Curtain.”

Levi recognized it; this was the Curtain that Kenjaku’s group used in the original story to trap ordinary people.

They had trapped all the ordinary people in the vast Shibuya area inside, using their lives as collateral to lure out Satoru Gojo and eventually seal him.

This Curtain only trapped ordinary people; jujutsu sorcerers could enter and exit at will.

Levi didn’t approach the chaotic crowd on the road.

Instead, on the sidewalk nearby, he reached out his hand with the intention of testing it.

His fingers touched the pitch-black wall of the Curtain, unable to move forward an inch.

“As expected, non-sorcerers can’t enter or leave.”

Levi remembered that the reason this “Curtain” was so hard to exorcise in the original story was precisely because it allowed sorcerers to move freely.

This meant any attack containing cursed energy would pass straight through it, unable to hit the structure of the Curtain itself.

“But since I can touch it, that means I can attack it.”

Levi thought to himself that the Curtain before him was set up by curse users.

Since he couldn’t find them, he might as well draw their attention and make them come to him.

And while he was at it, he would break the Curtain and let those ordinary people go.

In the original story, once Sukuna gained temporary freedom, hardly any survivors were left in all of Shibuya.

The casualties numbered at least in the tens of thousands.

He should save them if he could.

“Perfect.

This also lets me test the power of the Dragon Talisman.”

Levi focused his mind and tried to channel the energy of the Dragon Talisman.

Searing energy surged from his stomach to his limbs, causing an orange-yellow light to rise from his hands.

Unknowingly, Levi’s eyes turned crimson, and the stray hairs on his forehead lifted slightly.

“Dragon Blast!”

Attacks really do have to involve shouting the move’s name!

Destructive orange-yellow flames erupted from Levi’s hands, and the moment the fire made contact with the Curtain at close range, a secondary explosion occurred!

The air blasted outward in a ring, whipping up a fierce heatwave.

The flames continued to expand at the end of the street, turning Shibuya as bright as day for a fleeting moment.

The crying ordinary people nearby stared over in a daze, like quails paralyzed by the sound of a thunderclap.

Not just them—nearly every jujutsu sorcerer, curse user, and cursed spirit in all of Shibuya felt this thunderous roar.

And the “Curtain” with its 400-meter radius was shaken by this violent force.

Its barrier walls, like a soap bubble blown to its limit, deformed and shuddered violently…

until they suddenly shattered!

Levi pulled back his hands, satisfied.

While he didn’t know exactly how durable the Curtain was, its defensive power at least hadn’t reached the upper limit of the Dragon Talisman’s might.

Neon signs, the red glow of taillights, and the pale lights from office buildings—these points of light belonging to human civilization shone once more into the eyes of the survivors on the streets of Shibuya.

After a moment of shock, these ordinary people were jolted awake by the lights from the outside world and finally began to flee the barrier in wild relief.

This Curtain was simply too massive for the outside world to ignore.

The authorities had already deployed police to prevent others from approaching it, and they were now perfectly positioned to help the evacuees.

Just then, Levi suddenly felt a chill coming from behind him.

“Ice Formation: Frost Calm.”

Levi whipped his head around.

His judgment was indeed correct.

A curse user had come looking for him so quickly!
