Having no idea where to go next, Ronawa simply wandered the streets.
She hadn’t bought much, but she had definitely eaten her fill.
As night began to fall, she had to consider where she was going to sleep.
She couldn’t exactly crash on a park bench.
That was when Suguru Geto found her.
“I heard about what happened.
I didn’t expect you to be so ruthless,” he remarked.
“A total of one hundred and twenty-seven jujutsu sorcerers dead, including sixteen Grade 1s.
I certainly didn’t have a track record that dazzling back in the day.”
Ronawa gave a dry, speechless laugh.
Did he think she wanted a dazzling track record like that?
She simply didn’t have any other choice.
Though, truth be told, the deaths of all those sorcerers had provided her with a massive influx of cursed energy.
It was precisely because of this power boost that she had finally unlocked her new technique: Omniscient Panopticon: Thousand-Armed Verdict!
Honestly, if the jujutsu higher-ups hadn’t sent a literal army and had instead dispatched a few overwhelmingly powerful individuals—like the Special Grade Sorcerer Yuki Tsukumo—Ronawa wouldn’t have had nearly as easy of a time.
Using human-wave tactics against her was, without a doubt, the stupidest idea they could have come up with.
After teasing her a bit, sensing she was on the verge of getting annoyed, Geto smoothly changed the subject.
“If you don’t know where to go next, how about coming to my place?”
Ronawa immediately took a few steps back.
You couldn’t blame her for overthinking it; whenever Geto said things like that with his trademark smiling face, it inevitably reminded her of certain late-night “educational materials” from her past life.
The plot and dialogue were way too similar.
Ultimately, however, she agreed.
She was afraid of Satoru Gojo, yes, because she couldn’t beat him.
But Suguru Geto?
Even if she couldn’t beat him, running away would be a breeze.
A boost in strength meant a boost in confidence!
In a detached, single-family home near Minato Ward, Ronawa followed Geto through the front door.
Hearing them enter, two voices immediately rang out in perfect unison.
“Welcome home, Father.”
Two identical twin high schoolers stepped into the living room.
But the moment they noticed the unfamiliar white-haired girl standing next to Geto, they both froze.
Meanwhile, Ronawa was glaring at Geto like he was human garbage.
Damn this guy.
I’m so jealous…
wait, no, I mean, how despicable!
Geto sighed, exasperatedly massaging his forehead—which still lacked its future stitch marks—and quickly explained, “These are my adopted daughters, Mimiko Hasaba and Nanako Hasaba.”
Hearing their names, Ronawa remembered their story.
Mimiko and Nanako Hasaba originally lived in a remote mountain village.
Their parents were ordinary jujutsu sorcerers, and the family had lived a peaceful, happy life—until their parents died in an accident.
Following their deaths, the villagers imprisoned and abused the twins, blaming them for bringing “bad luck” to the village.
The cruel irony was that the girls’ parents had been secretly protecting that very village all along.
Later, Suguru Geto arrived, rescued the twins, and massacred every single villager.
That event was the catalyst that sent him completely down a dark path, turning him into a Curse User.
Geto took the girls in and trained them as jujutsu sorcerers.
They would eventually participate in his “Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.” However, their ultimate fate was tragically brutal.
After Geto’s death, they would follow Kenjaku, hoping to use him to slaughter sorcerers and avenge Geto.
Instead, they were thoroughly manipulated.
When they later tried to use Sukuna to kill Kenjaku, Sukuna simply diced them into meat paste.
They were utter tragedy-bound villains.
But, credit where credit was due, they were gorgeous—absolutely top-tier high school beauties.
The older sister, Mimiko, had long, straight black hair and a slightly melancholic aura.
The younger sister, Nanako, had blonde hair and a tanned complexion—a classic Japanese gyaru.
Appreciating their looks, Ronawa took the initiative and offered a friendly wave.
In response, she received two intensely guarded glares.
Great, they’re jealous.
Ronawa couldn’t be bothered to entertain them.
After getting her room assignment from Geto, she decisively headed off to rest.
Who cares if they were pretty girls?
She wasn’t going to coddle them.
She was a pretty girl too, after all!
While Ronawa drifted off to sleep, the Hasaba twins approached Geto, indirectly trying to fish for information about their new houseguest.
Naturally, their main focus was figuring out the exact nature of the relationship between her and Geto.
Faced with their probing questions, Geto didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
“Ronawa is a Cursed Spirit, and her abilities are incredibly unique,” he explained.
Hearing that Ronawa was merely a business partner, the twins collectively breathed a sigh of relief.
Asking no further questions, they said their goodnights and returned to their own rooms.
Geto smiled helplessly, then went straight back to his work.
Being a major villain and the leader of the Star Religious Group meant he was a very busy man.
The sheer number of matters he had to handle daily was incalculable.
The next morning, Ronawa was rudely awakened by a knock on the door.
Yawning, she opened it to find the younger twin, Nanako, standing there.
“Get up.
Time for breakfast,” Nanako threw out curtly before turning on her heel and walking away.
Ronawa didn’t mind the attitude.
She splashed some cold water on her face to wake herself up, then headed out to eat.
She wasn’t going to skip meals just out of spite.
By the time she arrived, the twins were already eating.
Geto was just walking out carrying his own portion.
Ronawa genuinely hadn’t expected the guy to know how to cook, let alone make food that looked this appetizing.
What kind of gap moe is this?
Taking her seat, Ronawa immediately started tearing into her breakfast.
As they ate, Geto brought up business.
“I’ve already heard about your arrangement with Satoru Gojo.
Two months is a tight schedule.
However, given your potential, it’s entirely doable.”
He paused, looking at her seriously.
“Do you need my help?
I know quite a few people.
I can drop you into active war zones and let you kill to your heart’s content.”
As the leader of the largest underground cult in Japan, Geto’s network was terrifying.
He maintained close ties with several internationally renowned figures.
When he offered to send Ronawa to a war zone for a slaughterfest, he wasn’t joking.
With a single nod from Ronawa, Geto could ship her off to the Middle East, Africa, or any other conflict zone to just start grinding kills.
As long as she killed enough people, she would absolutely have the power to defeat Gojo in two months.
Despite the tempting offer, Ronawa refused.
