“Interface ready!”
“Secondary components docking…”
“Docking successful! Space station docking successful!”
“Operations nominal. Systems ready for use!”
Riding atop [Fraud Megumi]’s head, Kaito beamed.
He piloted the Megumi Mecha to take a single step forward.
Tap, tap—
He only took one step, and two distinct footsteps echoed in the room.
Because…
“Look! The combination of [Fraud Megumi] and Gojo’s lower half… [Centaur Mode] is a complete success!!”
Kaito gleefully galloped the [Megumi-Gojo’s lower-half] Centaur around the dorm room.
Yuji was laughing so hard he was crying, frantically recording the whole thing on his phone.
The Shikigami were made of cursed energy, sure, but they had physical mass, which meant they could be perfectly captured on camera.
Megumi was completely numb to it all at this point.
‘Whatever.
Do what you want.’
The severed waist of Gojo was bent forward, connecting the semicircular ‘Cockpit’ groove that had been carved out for Kaito directly into a matching wound opened on [Fraud Megumi]’s lower back.
It formed a perfect and horrifying centaur!
Kaito executed a majestic leap right over the depressed [Fraud Yuji] still lying on the floor.
But mid-air, the centaur violently disassembled!
“THUD!” Gojo’s lower half smacked onto the floorboards.
Kaito turned around.
In perfect synchronization, his Suku-Blob body and [Fraud Megumi] both scratched their heads.
“…I need a way to properly secure the connection. Superglue? Expansion screws?” Kaito ran through several engineering plans in his head but ultimately rejected all of them.
“Megumi, oh Megumi, why couldn’t you have grown a tail…? Wait! If we dock from the front, wouldn’t there be a natural—”
“THAT’S ENOUGH!!” Megumi snapped, a thick vein popping on his forehead.
Was this guy even human?!
Kaito sighed in pity.
“Maintaining the form is an issue, whether the size is up to standard is questionable, and the hardness definitely couldn’t support the structural integrity of the connecting parts. I’ll just have to find another way.”
Even though he had successfully forced Kaito to abandon the ‘Front-Docking Centaur’ plan, Megumi somehow felt even more suffocated and insulted.
Kaito completely ignored him.
He had just realized the true, intended usage of the Ten Frauds Technique!
Stacking them up, and then fusing them together!
The name ‘Ten Frauds Technique’ was just a fake label Kaito had made up on the spot to piggyback off the Ten Shadows Technique and pretend to be a Zen’in relative.
His actual summon limit was definitely not capped at ten.
And he didn’t have the Ten Shadows’ restriction of only being able to summon two Shikigami at the same time either.
Therefore, independent combatants like Gojo’s lower half could be sent out to fight remotely like standard summons.
Meanwhile, depressed and utterly useless Shikigami like the Fraudulent Brothers—or those who could utilize specific cursed techniques—could be used as mecha parts! The source of this chapter is g.com.
He could layer them up like armor to protect his fragile Suku-Blob main body!
It was perfect!
Just imagine it: a towering monstrosity built from a horrifying amalgamation of human bodies and severed limbs, capable of firing off a wide arsenal of different cursed techniques, all while being flanked by a swarm of independent Shikigami summons.
Wasn’t that literally just a video game boss and his minion wave?!
Furthermore, his Fraud Shikigami differed fundamentally from normal Shikigami!
He created them by siphoning cursed energy directly from the original targets.
Aside from technically being classified as Shikigami, they were essentially independent entities.
Kaito didn’t need to constantly burn his own cursed energy to maintain their existence.
Instead, the Fraud Shikigami contained a reservoir of cursed energy corresponding to their specific form.
Normally, you couldn’t use someone else’s cursed energy in the jujutsu world.
But thanks to the link between a shikigami and its user built into his technique, Kaito could draw cursed energy from his Fraud Shikigami and convert it into temporary reserves for himself.
His fatal flaw—his pitifully small cursed energy reserves—finally had a solution!
Of course, it probably wouldn’t work perfectly at first.
There were still a lot of technical problems to solve.
For instance, the very problem staring him in the face right now: how was he supposed to securely fuse different Fraud Shikigami together without restricting their mobility?
Kaito quieted down and began to brainstorm.
Meanwhile.
The three Special Grade Cursed Spirits stealthily infiltrated the interior of Jujutsu High.
Besides the students and teachers, the campus also housed various auxiliary staff and managers.
Naturally, Jogo and the others couldn’t just casually stroll around making a massive scene.
There were thousands of doors within Jujutsu High, but only one of them actually led to the Cursed Warehouse, and its location was shuffled every single day.
If they tried to open them one by one, Gojo and the rest of the sorcerers would be back before they even found it!
And if that happened:
It would turn into a tragic Three Disasters meet-and-greet!
Yet, brute-forcing the doors was their only option.
However, Jogo wasn’t going to be the one twisting the doorknobs.
Jogo pulled out a cursed object that resembled a wasp’s nest.
Then, he pulled out a glass vial filled with blood.
“Geto said this blood has a hidden connection to certain items stored inside the Cursed Warehouse,” Jogo stated.
He poured the blood from the vial directly onto the ‘honeycomb.’ The object immediately began to squirm and buzz, releasing a swarm of tiny cursed spirits that looked remarkably like Flyheads.
“These things can sense that connection at a short range. If they fly into a door, we’ll know if it leads to the Warehouse or not. This way, even though we’re still checking them one by one, our efficiency will be much higher.”
Jogo watched with a suspicious gaze as dozens of the tiny cursed spirits fluttered toward the nearest building.
He wasn’t doubting the capabilities of the small curses.
His suspicion and wariness were directed entirely at Suguru Geto—or rather, Kenjaku.
Whose blood was this?
How did Geto know about it, and more importantly, how did he obtain it?
Jogo had always known that Geto’s ultimate endgame differed from theirs.
After all, Geto never bothered to fake it—he simply refused to tell them what his actual goal was.
The Disaster Curses’ sole objective was to free the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.
Sukuna might not cooperate with them.
He might even slaughter them on a whim.
But as long as Sukuna returned to the world in his prime, human society was guaranteed to collapse, ushering in the true Age of Curses!
At least, that was what Jogo believed.
But their ultimate goal was merely one small link in Geto’s grand master plan.
What Geto truly desired at the end of it all—Jogo had no idea.
The tiny curses fluttered back one by one, burrowing into the honeycomb.
Jogo signaled to his two companions, and they moved on to the next building.
He didn’t hesitate for a second.
It didn’t matter what Geto’s final plan was.
Their immediate objectives aligned, and that was all that mattered!
‘Even if I die, it doesn’t matter.
A hundred years from now, the ones standing and laughing on the wasteland don’t necessarily have to be me.
As long as Curses can stand in this world as the new humanity, that is enough.’
The sixth attempt.
Jogo and Hanami kept a low profile as they moved through the area, quietly killing the few Jujutsu High staff members who happened to spot the swarm of tiny curses.
The bodies were fed to Dagon, who was still in his Cursed Womb stage and needed a large amount of energy.
This time, one of the tiny curses returned but didn’t crawl back into the honeycomb.
Instead, it hovered in the air and began flying in a continuous figure eight.
“FOUND IT,” Jogo said, a spark of pleasant surprise in his voice.
The three curses moved immediately.
Stepping through the door, the actual entrance to the Cursed Warehouse was still a few dozen meters away down the corridor.
Two sorcerers, both around Grade 2 level, stood guard.
Facing a synchronized ambush from two Special Grades like Jogo and Hanami, they were instantly dispatched without a single sound.
Their bodies were tossed to Dagon to be absorbed.
“Take Sukuna’s fingers and the cursed objects Geto specifically asked for first! Then, grab as much of the other inventory in the Warehouse as you can carry!”
…
Back in the dorm room, Kaito was still racking his brain.
Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck him!
“If I had his cursed technique, I might actually be able to pull this off!”
