Jin Huaiqian ignored his teasing and looked around the space.
The decoration and layout were completely different from Xie Sui’s personal style.
The feeling Xie Sui had always given him was intense, bold, unrestrained, casual, and free, like a ball of burning fire, bringing a scorching heat wherever he went. Although they had not known each other for long, in just those few short meetings, what Jin Huaiqian felt most deeply was Xie Sui’s completely undisguised desire and possessiveness. This was something he had never encountered in anyone else.
This was also why Xie Sui attracted him.
Now, looking at this empty, cold, and lifeless home in front of him, Jin Huaiqian found it almost difficult to associate it with that person.
“Is this where you usually live?”
Xie Sui sat down on the sofa. “Yes, why? I only have this one apartment. Do you think everyone is like you guys, with several properties under their name at any given moment?”
Xie Sui saw through his thoughts. “A house is just a place to sleep. As long as it is livable, it is fine. Why make the decorations look so fancy?”
“True, what you say makes sense.”
Xie Sui’s eyes darted around, and he began to plot against him again. “Since President Jin is so shocked, how about you take me to your place some day for a tour, to let me broaden my horizons?”
Jin Huaiqian fished out a cigarette and lit it. He took a deep drag and bit down on the cigarette butt between his lips. The smoke drifted, forming a hazy screen of smoke in front of him.
Xie Sui felt his abdomen tighten. This was too much of a foul.
Jin Huaiqian did not miss the desire that instantly surged in Xie Sui’s eyes. He had long since seen that Xie Sui was an absolute lecher. To put it nicely, he was an extreme visual-centrist, and he seemed to especially love seeing him in formal suits.
Xie Sui beckoned him over.
Jin Huaiqian walked over with the cigarette in his mouth, bent down, and placed both hands on the sofa on either side of Xie Sui’s body. This action revealed the black leather belt tied around his waist. His long, straight legs were slightly apart as he stood there, his posture both relaxed and carrying a sense of aggression.
A wicked smile appeared on Xie Sui’s face. “Feed me the smoke.”
Jin Huaiqian took a drag and then pressed his lips to Xie Sui’s.
The figures of the two were reflected on the floor-to-ceiling window of the balcony. One stood bending over, while the other sat enclosed in his arms, their heads pressed together. The seated one had a very restless hand that stopped somewhere.
Heat radiated beneath his hand, and in the next second, heavy breathing could be heard.
Jin Huaiqian pulled back from his mouth, reached out, and pinched Xie Sui’s chin. “What do you want to do?”
Xie Sui unbuckled the belt around his waist and pulled it out with a swift motion.
Xie Sui folded the belt and pulled hard on it.
Holding the leather belt, he gently tapped it against Jin Huaiqian’s face, saying in a seductive tone, “Mr. Jin, let us play something different.”
Jin Huaiqian suddenly grabbed Xie Sui’s troublemaking hand, and without wasting any words, pressed himself directly down on him.
The next morning, Xie Sui was awakened by the sound of knocking on the door.
He opened his eyes. The curtains were drawn in the room, making the light dim. The scent of lingering desire had not yet dissipated.
It took him a moment to react and realize where he was.
Jin Huaiqian hugged him from behind, placing a hand on his waist, his voice carrying the hoarseness of someone who had just woken up. “Dazed?”
They had played too hard last night, and Xie Sui was exhausted, not wanting to get up at all.
The knocking sounded a few more times, accompanied this time by a familiar voice, “Brother Xie Sui? Brother Xie Sui, are you home?”
It was Lin Yan.
Xie Sui woke up instantly. He sat up, the blanket sliding down to his waist, revealing the marks on his body.
There was not a single patch of unblemished skin on his neck or chest. In addition to hickeys, there were faint, indistinct marks that looked like whip lashes.
Jin Huaiqian was not in any better shape either.
Xie Sui looked at Jin Huaiqian, who was also looking back at him with amusement.
“Who is coming to find you so early in the morning?”
“My little lover,” Xie Sui told the truth.
Jin Huaiqian raised his eyebrows and said nothing.
Outside, Lin Yan knocked on the door two more times, his voice carrying a bit of confusion, “Brother Xie Sui? Are you not awake yet? I bought breakfast.”
Xie Sui grabbed his phone and looked at it. It was already past eleven o’clock.
Xie Sui threw off the blanket and got out of bed. He picked up his pants from the floor, grabbed a T-shirt, grimaced as he pulled it on, and walked out of the bedroom. “Coming.”
He said to Jin Huaiqian, “Do not come out yet.”
Hearing this, Jin Huaiqian was instantly amused to the point of laughter. He had never expected that one day he would become the “third party” who had to hide.
Xie Sui opened the door.
Lin Yan was holding two paper takeout bags in his hand. Seeing Xie Sui come out, a smile immediately spread across his face. “You are awake? I brought you pan-fried buns and soy milk, they are still hot.”
After seeing Xie Sui’s appearance clearly, his voice stopped abruptly.
Xie Sui’s hair was messy, his collar was loose, and there were several clear red marks on his neck and collarbone, which stood out glaringly against his fair skin.
It was obvious.
The smile on Lin Yan’s face froze, and his gaze flicked toward the tightly closed bedroom door behind Xie Sui. His fingers clutching the bags tightened slightly.
“You.” Lin Yan opened his mouth, his voice slightly dry. “Do you have a guest?”
Xie Sui walked back to the living room, took the cigarette pack from the coffee table, pulled one out and lit it. He took a drag and did not hide it. “Yes.”
Lin Yan stood there, the expressions on his face shifting rapidly, showing a hint of forced embarrassment and hurt. He actually always knew what kind of person Xie Sui was, knowing that their relationship was in truth just a sugar daddy and sugar baby dynamic, devoid of feelings. But knowing it was one thing; seeing it with his own eyes and catching it red-handed was another.
He looked down at the breakfast bags in his hand, then looked up at Xie Sui, trying hard to squeeze out a smile. “Then I will leave first. The breakfast, you, you and your friend can eat it.”
After saying this, he turned around and walked toward the door, his steps somewhat hurried.
“Lin Yan,” Xie Sui called out to stop him.
Xie Sui walked over, pulled a few banknotes out of his wallet, and stuffed them into the paper bag Lin Yan was carrying. “You took a cab here? For the fare,” he said softly. “Call ahead next time before you come over.”
Lin Yan’s body stiffened for a moment, then he smiled as usual and took the cash. “Thank you, brother. I will be going then.”
“Okay.”
Xie Sui stood in place, slowly exhaling a cloud of smoke. He stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray, turned, and walked back to the bedroom.
Jin Huaiqian was already fully dressed, buttoning up his shirt. His movements were unhurried, as if the minor storm outside had absolutely nothing to do with him.
Xie Sui leaned against the doorframe. “Leaving already? Won’t you stay a bit longer?”
Jin Huaiqian fastened the last button, adjusted his cuffs, and then picked up his suit jacket from the back of the chair, looking at Xie Sui. “No, I have a meeting this morning.”
He walked over to Xie Sui and stopped.
His gaze swept over Xie Sui’s face, then landed on those marks on his neck, lingering for a second.
“Your acting is still not very good.”
Xie Sui laughed. “But didn’t you fall for it anyway?”
Xie Sui studied his expression. “Why do I feel like you are acting strange? You aren’t jealous, are you?”
Jin Huaiqian curled his lips into a smile. “I don’t like being jealous.”
After saying this, he bypassed Xie Sui. In the next second, the sound of the front door closing echoed from outside.
The room fell silent once again, leaving Xie Sui all by himself.
