Zhou Zheng delivered the windmill.
Looking at its appearance, it must have been bought from a night market stall. It was a traditional, old-fashioned windmill style, completely overlapping with the one in Xie Sui’s memory.
Zhou Zheng had also thoughtfully brought along a piece of sponge padding so the windmill would have a place to stand.
Jin Huaiqian placed the windmill on Xie Sui’s headboard. Xie Sui blew a breath of air, and the windmill slowly began to spin.
Under the illumination of the lamp, the surface of the windmill reflected faint glints of light. Xie Sui lay prone, watching it turn, and suddenly asked out of curiosity, “Since Zhou Zheng is so thoughtful, you never developed an office romance?”
Amused, Jin Huaiqian asked, “Am I that kind of person in your heart? Wanting to give it a try with anyone I see.”
Xie Sui: “I don’t know.”
Jin Huaiqian wrapped his arms around him from behind. “Besides, work and private life cannot be mixed together.”
As Jin Huaiqian spoke, he turned Xie Sui’s face toward him. “Did you develop something with your colleagues? Or perhaps with your boss, Yan Shuzhi? Or Zhao Shang?”
Xie Sui wasn’t surprised that Jin Huaiqian could utter Yan Shuzhi’s name; after all, since he went to interview Jin Huaiqian, the man’s company would definitely do a background check on him. But Zhao Shang? Although that person had a few fans, Xie Sui didn’t think he was famous enough to be on Jin Huaiqian’s radar.
Xie Sui said with leisurely ease, “Brother Huaiqian seems to understand my interpersonal relationships quite well?”
Jin Huaiqian did not deny the fact that he had investigated him. “Are you angry?”
“Not to the point of being angry, just curious about how much you know.”
“Not much. I only know that you’ve already changed partners several times this year. Excluding those one-night stands, you switch them out once a month on average. The last one was Lin Yan.”
Xie Sui corrected him, “Wrong. Currently, the last one is you.”
Dissatisfied, Jin Huaiqian said fiercely, “What do you mean by that?”
“Holy shit, don’t pinch me.” Xie Sui bared his teeth in pain. “Exactly what it means literally. What else could it mean?”
Seeing Xie Sui’s nonchalant attitude, Jin Huaiqian suddenly felt an urge to tear off his mask.
Without a word, he bit down on Xie Sui’s shoulder. Xie Sui hissed in pain, sucking in sharp breaths of cold air.
By the time Jin Huaiqian pulled away, a distinct teeth mark was left on Xie Sui’s shoulder.
“You really are a mad dog, aren’t you! I need to go get a rabies vaccine.”
Jin Huaiqian’s face was dark and gloomy, highly dissatisfied with Xie Sui’s choice of words, demanding that he rephrase it.
Xie Sui turned his body over, switching to lie flat on his back.
“Why is your face so sour?” Xie Sui chuckled. “You haven’t gone and fallen in love with me, have you, Jin Mad Dog?”
Xie Sui was deliberately playing around; he obviously knew Jin Huaiqian definitely hadn’t fallen in love with him. He reckoned there wasn’t even any true liking, just a bit of fondness at most.
Jin Huaiqian saw through his intention at a glance. “And you call me wicked underneath it all. You are actually thoroughly bad yourself.”
He leaned close to Xie Sui’s ear and whispered, “Today, I’ll take you to play something a little different.”
Xie Sui never suppressed his own desires. When he wanted it, he would find someone. While he had many bed partners, he didn’t play anything too wild because he found it exhausting. If the mood struck him, the most he would do was perhaps include a tiny bit of BDSM elements. Comparatively speaking, in bed, he preferred using dirty words to stimulate the other party.
Jin Huaiqian was entirely opposite to him, which was precisely the reason Xie Sui remained constantly enthusiastic about him.
This mad dog seemed to play everything. Last time, the belt had almost worn him out completely. When Jin Huaiqian mentioned playing something a little different this time, Xie Sui hadn’t realized what it was at first, even going so far as to provoke him.
Right now, he only wanted to travel back in time and slap himself.
Xie Sui’s entire body was flushed red from the inside out.
His eyelashes grew damp, his thigh muscles trembled violently, and his waist arched up, making his whole body resemble a fish stranded on a beach.
Jin Huaiqian commanded, “Remove ‘currently’ and say it again.”
Jin Huaiqian truly went relentlessly wild, forgetting all restraint; even as Xie Sui sobbed and twitched, he had no intention of staying his hand.
“You bastard, what, what ‘currently’?”
Jin Huaiqian: “The sentence you said earlier.”
Xie Sui couldn’t take it anymore. He tried to push Jin Huaiqian’s hand away, but his mind was currently an absolute blur, completely unable to recall what “currently” he had spoken of before.
“I, I don’t want it anymore let go of me.”
“No. You say it first.”
“Say what?! I don’t know!”
Xie Sui growled out loud, wanting nothing more than to end this quickly.
Jin Huaiqian leaned down close. Xie Sui’s eyelashes trembled, dotted with tiny beads of moisture. “You said earlier: ‘Currently, the last one is you.'”
Xie Sui didn’t understand what this man meant by obsessing over this point right now.
Seeing that Xie Sui delayed saying the words he wanted to hear, Jin Huaiqian changed his method, sliding a hand lightly. Xie Sui instantly arched his body as if he couldn’t bear it, letting out a whimper.
“Hurry up and say it.”
Xie Sui felt as if he were truly about to die. Suspended at a certain point without going up or down, the sensations nonetheless continued to surge continuously.
The time had already been dragged out for so long.
It was so unbearable.
Xie Sui’s willpower approached total collapse. “The last, the last one is you.”
Jin Huaiqian let out a satisfied, low laugh. “Good boy.”
Then, he released his hand.
“Ah”
A current of electricity shot rapidly from his feet straight up to his brain. It was impossible to tell how long it lasted, but Xie Sui’s body crashed down heavily as if it had lost all support.
The blanket was soaked.
Xie Sui panted frantically, feeling as though he had barely survived a disaster.
A dizzying sensation filled his head, alongside completely numb, tingling nerves.
Jin Huaiqian admired this beautiful sight before him, unscrupulously scanning every inch of his body.
Xie Sui’s legs were still spasming uncontrollably.
He had already reached a state where he couldn’t bear even a single touch.
“Don’t touch me,” Xie Sui warned.
Deaf to his words, Jin Huaiqian fiercely captured Xie Sui’s lips like a maniac, ruthlessly plundering the air inside his mouth.
Xie Sui’s face turned flushed, leaving him on the verge of suffocation.
In the final second before Xie Sui lost consciousness, the thought in his mind was that sooner or later, he would definitely make him pay this back twofold.
The morning sunlight squeezed eagerly into the room through the gaps in the curtains.
Xie Sui woke up, his two pupils staring blankly at the ceiling.
Jin Huaiqian patted him. “Hey, have you gone stupid?”
“Don’t talk to me.”
Xie Sui was completely naked, his skin feeling exceptionally wonderful to the touch, and Jin Huaiqian couldn’t bear to take his hands off him.
Xie Sui slapped his hand away, remaining silent.
Jin Huaiqian turned onto his side. “Are you truly angry?”
Xie Sui said coldly, “I almost died at your hands. What do you think?”
Jin Huaiqian: “Impossible, I knew exactly what I was doing.”
Xie Sui: “It seems President Jin truly is highly experienced.”
The title “President Jin,” which hadn’t been used in a long time, slipped out, showing that he was genuinely angry.
Jin Huaiqian coaxed, “I’m sorry. I couldn’t hold back this time. I’ll be careful next time.”
Xie Sui let out a huff but didn’t speak.
Jin Huaiqian just held him like that, observing his face, his skin, and counting his eyelashes.
After a long while, he heard Xie Sui speak.
“Do you want to develop a one-on-one relationship?”
Jin Huaiqian blinked. “What do you mean?”
“Exactly what it means literally.” Xie Sui turned his gaze to meet Jin Huaiqian’s eyes. “Are you willing?”
Jin Huaiqian’s eyes were very deep. Every time, Xie Sui wanted to lament the unfairness of heaven, why were someone’s eyes so perfect? Every instance of eye contact made one feel as if they were about to sink right into them.
“If you’re not willing, then forget it.”
“I’m willing.”
The two spoke in unison.
Fearing that Xie Sui hadn’t heard clearly, Jin Huaiqian repeated it once more, “I’m willing.”
Xie Sui gave an “un” in response, quietly staring at the ceiling. These words made his face feel a little warm.
“Then go cook quickly, I’m hungry.”
Jin Huaiqian said dotingly, “Alright.”
