The next morning, Kil Ful arrived at an open training ground outside the kingdom. Maddy and Rony were already waiting for him. The training area was large and empty, giving them enough space to fight freely.
Kil Ful had left his sword behind.
Today, he wanted to focus completely on improving his Eyesight and physical combat. Maddy also didn’t bring his knife.
Rony stood at the side and looked at both of them.
"Today, you two will fight without weapons."
Kil Ful nodded.
Maddy smiled.
"Are you ready?"
Kil Ful took his stance.
"Let’s begin."
Maddy suddenly rushed toward him.
Kil Ful immediately activated Eyesight.
His vision changed, and he could see the flow of energy moving through Maddy’s body.
Maddy threw a punch.
Kil Ful moved his head to the side and avoided it.
Maddy followed with another punch.
Kil Ful blocked it.
Then Maddy attacked with a kick.
Kil Ful jumped backward.
The two continued exchanging attacks.
Punches, kicks, blocks, and dodges filled the training ground.
Kil Ful slowly began understanding Maddy’s movements better.
Every time Maddy prepared an attack, Kil Ful could see the energy moving toward the part of his body he was going to use.
His Eyesight was improving.
But Maddy was improving too.
His Epic Reflexes had become faster than before.
Kil Ful threw a punch toward his face.
Maddy moved his head slightly and avoided it.
Kil Ful immediately followed with another attack.
Maddy blocked it and countered with a kick.
Kil Ful barely avoided it.
Maddy smiled.
"Your Eyesight is getting better."
Kil Ful wiped the sweat from his face.
"So are your reflexes."
Maddy suddenly disappeared from Kil Ful’s sight.
Kil Ful’s expression became serious.
He activated Eyesight fully.
But he couldn’t see Maddy.
Then—
A punch suddenly struck his side.
Kil Ful staggered.
He turned around.
Maddy wasn’t there.
Another attack came from behind.
Kil Ful quickly moved, but the kick still hit his back.
He stepped forward and turned around.
Maddy was nowhere in front of him.
Maddy’s voice came from somewhere around him.
"You’re improving your Eyesight."
Kil Ful looked around.
"But you’re still depending too much on what you can see."
Another punch suddenly hit Kil Ful’s shoulder.
Kil Ful gritted his teeth.
Maddy had combined his Epic Reflexes with his Invisible Attack.
Suddenly, attacks started coming from every direction.
A punch came from the left.
Kil Ful blocked it.
A kick came from behind.
He moved away.
Another punch came toward his ribs.
He tried to dodge.
But it still hit him.
Maddy’s voice echoed through the training ground.
"Invisible Attack Barrage!"
Dozens of invisible punches and kicks attacked Kil Ful from his blind spots.
Kil Ful couldn’t see every attack.
He was forced to depend on his instincts along with Eyesight.
He blocked one attack.
Another hit his shoulder.
He dodged a kick.
A punch struck his ribs.
Another kick hit his leg.
Kil Ful continued moving, trying to understand the pattern.
But the attacks kept coming.
Finally, he jumped backward and created some distance.
He was breathing heavily.
Maddy appeared in front of him.
"You can’t depend only on your Eyesight."
Kil Ful looked at him seriously.
"I know."
He slowly raised his hands again.
"But that’s why I’m training."
Maddy nodded.
"Good."
Rony watched them from the side.
"Looks like this training is going to take a while."
Kil Ful looked at Maddy.
His Eyesight was still active.
"I won’t get hit by that attack again."
Maddy smiled.
"Then prove it."
