The night had already engulfed the sky, as they reached their allotted green zone.
Lacy parted herself in mid way, to her class’ allotted green zone.
When the two of them reached the green zone, everyone’s face was covered in a mask of confusion, not knowing why Prince Van Fyugel was carrying such a disgraced, fallen noble on his back.
But no one tried to ask for the reason.
The green zone was quite big, with some tall and short trees inside the zone.
When the other students of class A were away from the green zone, the rest of the students, including D2 group, had made the tree house to survive the night.
So that they wouldn’t have to worry about the monsters at night, and can rest easy.
"I wasn’t a burden on you, right?" Snow asked.
"Why do you think so?" He replied with a polite smile.
The tree house’s base was built from the wooden planks, carefully crafted with magic, and for the ladders, it was like some earth magic user had made the ladders from roots to shape it into rope.
Prince, carrying Snow on his back, used Shadow steps to quickly reach the top instead of climbing the rope. And barged inside the small house without bothering to know that the small house was filled with girls.
He slowly bent, and helped Snow to get down.
Then he pulled out a herb from his pocket, and placed it in Snow’s palm. "Chew it, right now."
Surrounded by girls, Prince didn’t seem nervous, if anything, the girls around him were.
Placing her back, against the wooden wall, Snow asked. "What’s this?"
"This herb suppresses the dark magic’s effect on the body." Prince had asked Lacy to pick up the herb, when he was on his way to reach the green zone, before splitting ways with Lacy.
She took a small bite from the edge of the herb, and quickly spat it out. "Eckk, it’s bitter."
"Chew it quietly. I’m not your babysitter." Prince had a face of a professor scolding their students for not completing the homework.
She averted her gaze, with half redness started spreading across her face. "Leave it here, I’ll sure chew it later."
"Well then, rest till next morning." He left as soon as he finished talking.
After an hour, he was at away from the boys’ tree house and sat on trunk of a random tree outside, all alone.
Yella Vel had all three flags of class A in her pocket. But the black one was inside Prince’s pocket. She was not even aware of the fact that they had two black flags.
As Prince flicked his fingers, just to make sure that the black flags were in their place, he then pulled out both flags.
But instead of celebrating two black flags, he was left in shock, there was only one black flag, and one green flag
"Where is the other black flag?"
He checked again, inside both his pockets.
’Shit!’
’I’m sure, I stopped that girl who was reaching out for my pocket. But where is the black flag now?’
He tried to retrace his memories, but nothing came to the surface.
’We have 3 red, and 1 black, that means total 4, and 1 green. If Kale gets that flag somehow, that means he has 4 flags total! 2 green and 2 black!’
He slammed his fists hard at trunk of the tree he was sitting.
He closed his eyes in disbelief, his forehead resting on his palm.
"What should I do?"
’I can’t afford losing. Should I go for stealing class C’s flags?’
It was then that a pair of soft arms wrapped around him from behind.
The female scent was familiar, but still he was confused about it.
"Yella, please stop it. I’m not in a good mood."
The female’s arms slowly distanced themselves from Prince, and came into view, his confusion only deepening.
The mask of ’familiar but confused’ slowly faded, as he saw the female figure. It was Snow Quen.
He hadn’t imagined, she would hugg him from his back like this.
"Ugh, Snow? Are you okay?"
"Yes. All thanks to you. Your herb really worked, and I’ve recovered from the injury." She sat right next to him on the trunk of the tree.
"Oh well, glad to hear—"
"Hey, why did you always so good to me?" She asked, cutting him off.
"No. I just—"
"Close your eyes. There’s something I want you to taste, and tell me how it is. Sweet, Salty, or Bitter."
"You’re not planning to put that herb in my mouth, right?" He squinted his eyes.
"N-No, it’s not that..." Her cheeks started showing redness.
He closed his eyes. "Ok then."
She brought her lips to his, she kissed him, her soft lips brushed against his. Her cheeks were red as a beet.
