Only two students could fight close to the monster: Prince and Simon. Simon was a great Class A swordsman.
Prince had experience with swords and spears. Not only that, he was actually good at long-range too.
Although Snow was skilled in both close combat and long-range attacks, she worried she would hold everyone back due to her recent injury.
So she decided to cast spells from behind, like Yella.
The slime monsters, known as friendly monsters, now included one that turned into a Giant Red Slime Monster.
Saliva dripped from its mouth then let out a laugh.
Prince used Shadow Weapon to create a sword from darkness. While doing so, he summoned several shadow soldiers.
He and Simon dashed toward the slime monster, aiming their sharp blades.
Snow cast a large magical crystal above the slime monster’s head.
Yella followed Snow, casting Holy Light magic. The rest strengthened everyone’s magic and physical abilities.
Prince attacked first, but upon seeing his blade being absorbed by the slime, he was stunned.
He quickly stepped back and put some distance between himself and the slime monster.
The magical crystal Snow had cast on the slime monster was absorbed inside it.
The monster growled and spat some black-red magical spheres, aiming at Prince and Simon.
Simon stopped in mid-step and quickly stepped back to avoid the hit from the monster.
Prince crafted a spear to return the magical ball. As he tried, his spear smoothly melted, and the ball shot past him.
Thanks to his instincts, he didn’t get hit by the dark ball—he quickly used Shadow Steps to avoid the hit.
When the dark aura erupted, the sphere touched the rough surface, creating a deep hole in the ground.
Fearful sweat dripped from everyone’s faces, down to their jaw.
’Damn, how long...! I can’t even use my dark powers completely here...’
