In a realm shrouded by pitch-black void, a massive shadow stood silently in the dark.
Before it, a colossal black hole opened up, tearing through space and roaring with deafening fury.
Without hesitation, the shadowy figure drew back its fist—and punched straight through the event horizon with an explosive BOOM!
“AHH!”
Tez shot up in bed, gasping for air as sweat rolled down his forehead.
He looked around frantically.
A quiet room.
Soft blankets.
“Was that… a dream?” he whispered, clutching his chest.
The raw intensity of the vision felt far too real.
Shaking off the eerie feeling, Tez looked around the room.
Sha and Rihasa were nowhere to be seen.
Four hours later, Tez finally spotted his two cousins strolling casually down the main avenue of a sprawling city.
“WHERE HAVE YOU TWO BEEN?!” Tez yelled, sprinting up to them.
“You’ve been gone for hours!”
Sha casually gestured toward Rihasa.
“This fat pig was competing in an eating contest.”
Rihasa held up a shiny gold trophy, grinning ear to ear.
“And I took first place! One hundred and twenty burgers!”
Tez stared at him in utter silence before shaking his head.
“Never mind… Look, we need to figure out how to use our powers. Master Kaiser told us we have to discover them ourselves.”
“I don’t even know where to start!” Sha groaned in frustration.
“Check this out!” Rihasa interrupted, pulling out a small device.
A glowing holographic map expanded in the air before them, displaying four immense landmasses.
“We’re currently in Poweland,” Rihasa explained, pointing at their location.
As they walked, Tez looked around the bustling city streets.
Citizens were casually hovering in the air, summoning small bursts of elemental energy, or moving with superhuman speed.
“Everyone here has abilities…” Tez murmured in awe.
“And that’s not all!” Rihasa grinned, pointing to a giant digital billboard broadcasting an anime episode.
“I overheard some locals talking. In this world, anime characters actually exist in separate galaxies across the universe!”
The three boys froze in place.
“WHAT?!” Sha and Tez shouted together.
“I’m going to meet Goku!” Tez declared, his eyes beaming.
“I’m going to meet Tsunade!” Sha cheered.
“I just want to meet Doraemon!” Rihasa added.
“First, we need a way to travel,” Tez said, examining the map.
“We can’t even trigger our Mythic Powers yet.”
BOOOOOOM!
A violent explosion rocked the city block.
Smoke billowed into the sky as panic erupted.
Nearby, a heavily armed man carrying a massive sword was ruthlessly smashing through a local restaurant, driving terrified chefs out into the street.
“This is our chance!” Sha yelled, clenching his fists.
“Let’s beat him up!” Rihasa added.
“Wait! Stop! We don’t know how to fight yet!” Tez warned, but the two had already charged ahead.
The swordsman, Gaya, dodged their reckless attacks effortlessly.
“Little brats… do you have a death wish?”
Rihasa tried to throw a kick while Sha lunged forward, biting Gaya’s arm.
Furious, Gaya unsheathed his blade with a blinding flash—SLASH!
The shockwave pulverized a parked vehicle, sending Rihasa and Sha flying into the pavement, battered and bruised.
“Rihasa! Sha!” Tez shouted, rushing forward.
Before he could reach them, a fierce martial artist named Suri stepped out from the shadows and delivered a swift, brutal kick directly into Tez’s ribs.
CRASH!
Tez smashed through a brick wall, collapsing into the rubble as darkness took him.
When Tez opened his eyes, he found himself lying on a tatami mat inside a tranquil Japanese-style temple.
Sha and Rihasa were resting beside him, wrapped in bandages.
Stepping outside, they saw a senior monk in traditional robes practicing precise martial arts strikes in the courtyard.
The monk turned to them, his gaze sharp.
“You three… come here.”
Recognizing their latent potential, the monk began instructing them in basic combat.
To his shock, the boys absorbed every lesson instantly, moving with unnatural speed and reflexes.
“Stop,” the monk said suddenly, his eyes widening.
“You three possess Mythic Powers… the original sources from which abilities like Haki, Ki, and Quirks were derived throughout history.”
He retrieved three weapons from the temple armory and handed them over: a sleek dagger for Tez, a compact trident for Sha, and heavy brass knuckle braces for Rihasa.
For days, they trained relentlessly—mastering weapon handling, physical conditioning, and combat instincts.
After a long week of hard work, the boys took an afternoon off to explore the local market, eating street food and laughing together.
For the first time since arriving in the Powerverse, they felt confident.
However, as they returned to the mountain temple that evening, the laughter died instantly.
A horrific scene awaited them.
The courtyard was silent, stained with blood.
The monks and students lay defeated across the grounds.
Sha began to tremble, his voice breaking.
“I… I don’t want this anymore…”
Rihasa backed away in terror.
“I want to go home! I don’t want powers!”
Tez felt the same paralyzing fear gripping his heart.
He wanted his home, his room, his grandfather.
But then, the memory of Mr.
Jaff’s stern eyes flashed in his mind: With great power comes great responsibility.
Tez squeezed his eyes shut, dug his fingernails into his palms, and took a deep breath.
“No,” Tez said, his voice turning firm as he looked at his companions.
“We promised Grandpa. We said we’d take responsibility. We can’t run away now.”
Near the main altar, they discovered a final message left behind by their master.
The head warlord of the territory, Frera, had ordered the attack and captured the master to prevent anyone in the region from learning martial arts.
The master was scheduled for execution the following morning.
Tez unsheathed his dagger, the steel reflecting his resolute gaze.
Sha gripped his trident tighter, wiping away his tears, while Rihasa secured his knuckle braces.
“We’re going to Frera’s mansion,” Tez declared.
“We might not make it back…” Rihasa whispered.
Tez looked at his cousins, a fierce determination burning in his eyes.
“Maybe. But we aren’t leaving anyone behind.”
Stepping out of the temple ruins, the three young warriors marched into the night, ready to face their first true enemy.
