Ye Linyuan nodded and immediately said nothing more, instead returning to the fertile fields in the Valley.
After returning to the Valley, Ye Linyuan looked at the acre of Fertile Field before him and thought of the aggressive Lin Clan Immortal Clan. He could not help but fall into deep thought.
“It seems I need to make some preparations.”
Ye Linyuan pondered as he opened Shui Hanqing’s Letter. He carefully examined and contemplated it for a long while before finally putting it away.
In the Time that followed, Ye Linyuan once again focused his thoughts on planting Spirit Rice.
Until Today, more than Three months have passed since the first acre of Jade Marrow Rice was planted. Judging by its appearance, it should Mature after waiting for roughly another month.
With three harvests a year, the maturation Speed of this Spirit Rice could already be considered extremely Astonishing.
This was because Ye Linyuan’s Ripening Method and Spirit Nurturing Art had already Reached the Mahayana Realm. If it were an Ordinary First-Order Low-Grade Spirit Planter, then even if they planted Spirit Ear Rice in a Spirit Field, they could probably only achieve one harvest a year.
Of course, the yield of Spirit Rice in a Spirit Field was Several Times higher than that in a Fertile Field. The yield of a single harvest would probably exceed the output of three harvests from this acre of Fertile Field. Moreover, Spirit Rice cultivated in a Spirit Field might even reach the Level of Spirit Treasures or Exotic Treasures.
The transformed products among that kind of Spirit Rice were all specially supplied to Foundation Establishment Cultivators.
Returning to the matter at hand, under Ye Linyuan’s meticulous Care, this acre of Fertile Field gradually became Mature after all.
About a month later, Old Man Ye and the others helped harvest this batch of Spirit Rice, ultimately producing approximately fifty-two pounds of Jade Marrow Rice.
“A full fifty-two pounds! The yield has increased by nearly sixty percent compared to Before. As expected of Jade Marrow Rice grown from Spirit Seeds.”
After harvesting this batch of Spirit Ear Rice, Ye Qinyang revealed a pleasantly surprised expression.
Even Ye Linyuan smiled. He smiled and Said, “This is also the Extreme yield of a Fertile Field. From now on, unless we develop a Spirit Field, the yield has already Reached its limit.”
As he said this, Ye Linyuan looked at the Fertile Field beneath his feet and discovered that the Spiritual Energy within it was nearly Exhausted, while its fertility had also been almost completely Consumed.
“The soil fertility of this acre of Fertile Field is already on the verge of being Exhausted. It has transformed from a Fertile Field into a barren field.”
Ye Linyuan shook his head and Sighed, “If we let it Recover on its own, we will be unable to plant Spirit Rice for thirty years.”
Ye Qin Chu’s Expression changed slightly. Even with Ye Linyuan’s level of Spirit Planting, he could only barely cultivate Spirit Rice with a Fertile Field.
However, Fertile Fields were also extremely rare. Once one became a barren field, recovering it would probably require a Large Quantity of Time.
With this thought, Ye Qin Chu could not help looking at Ye Linyuan and asking, “Nephew Linyuan, do you have any way to help it Recover?”
“Use the Spirit Rain Technique to Nurture it regularly, then replenish it with large amounts of minerals and fertility. It may Recover in three to five years. However, I currently do not have enough True Qi, nor do I have that many surplus minerals.”
Ye Linyuan shook his head and then Spoke, “Before the fertility of these hundred acres of Fertile Field is depleted, we must cultivate our own Spirit Field.”
Having said this, Ye Linyuan put away the more than fifty pounds of Jade Marrow Rice, preparing to reserve it for Cultivate.
The more than fifty pounds of Spirit Ear Rice contained Abundant Spiritual Energy, enough for Ye Linyuan to consume for nearly two months. By then, it should help Ye Linyuan additionally increase his True Qi by more than one hundred and fifty strands.
Not long after this harvest of Spirit Rice, some bad News Suddenly spread, shaking the Ye Clan.
“Lin Shengwu has broken through!”
In the Ye Family Main Hall, Old Man Ye Informed Everyone of this News, causing everyone present to be deeply shaken.
He handed a Letter to Everyone and then Spoke, “One Clan with two Great Qi Refining Cultivators, along with a Genius like Lin Xuanhe—this Lin Clan shows signs of great prosperity.”
The others, upon hearing this, all revealed Grave Expressions.
Two Late Qi Refining cultivators in one Clan were a sign of great prosperity for the Lin Clan, but for the Ye Clan, it was definitely Not good News.
Once the Lin Family sought to monopolize the Star Lake Seven Islands, the Ye Clan Immortal Clan might well be driven out of the Star Lake Seven Islands and Become a Stray Dog from then on.
Old Man Ye looked around at Everyone and then Spoke again, “The Lin Clan has invited us to Red Star Island next month to discuss the ownership of the Star Lake Seven Islands.”
“Discuss the ownership of the Star Lake Seven Islands?”
Ye Qin Chu’s Expression changed slightly, and he could not help Spoke, “Could it be that they truly intend to drive us all out of the Star Lake Seven Islands?”
Everyone present showed a slight change in expression. Ye Qinyang pondered and asked, “How are things with the Qian Family and the Zhang Family now?”
Old Man Ye shook his head and then Said with an extremely Solemn expression, “The Lin Clan now has two Great Qi Refining Cultivators. With our Strength, we simply cannot oppose them.”
“Qian Boran and Zhang Daoyang mean that the Six Families should pool a sum of money and invite the Liu Family of Earthflame Island to uphold justice.”
Upon hearing this, Ye Linyuan’s Brow furrowed slightly, and he recalled the origin of the Liu Clan Immortal Clan.
The Liu Clan Immortal Clan was a Great Qi Refining Clan near the Star Lake Seven Islands. This Lineage possessed more than thirty Qi Refining cultivators and one Late Qi Refining Great Cultivator. Its Strength was nearly equal to that of the Lin Clan Before.
Moreover, the Liu Clan was Close To the Star Lake Seven Islands. In theory, inviting them to come and restrain the Lin Clan Immortal Clan was also an excellent choice.
After all, once the Lin Clan Immortal Clan rose, if it sought to extend its force beyond the Star Lake Seven Islands, it would very likely Threaten the Liu Clan Immortal Clan.
However, Ye Linyuan did not believe that the Liu Clan would be willing to completely antagonize the Lin Clan for the sake of the Star Lake Seven Islands.
As someone who had Once been a Golden Core Great Power, Ye Linyuan understood the nature of the Major Powers all too well. The vast majority of Cultivators would not be willing to fight a powerhouse of the same Level to the death.
Because Great Qi Refining Cultivators were the Foundation of a Qi Refining Family, once one was injured or suffered losses, they would inevitably Become prey for others.
Just like ferocious beasts, when encountering an opponent of the same Level, most would yield rather than easily allow themselves to be injured.
The Liu Clan’s Strength was inferior to that of the Lin Clan Immortal Clan. If the Lin Clan Immortal Clan adopted a tougher attitude, the Liu Clan Immortal Clan might well retreat at the final moment because of its somewhat weaker Strength.
Unfortunately, Even If Ye Linyuan Understood this point, he did not Spoke up to say anything more.
Because he clearly Understood that for the Six Families of the Star Lake Seven Islands, this might already be the best option.
“A weak Clan Ultimately has little room to choose.”
Ye Linyuan Murmured in heart, then Looked up toward the distance, seemingly waiting for something.
Seeing this, Old Man Ye beside him hurriedly asked, “What is it?”
“Nothing?”
Ye Linyuan shook his head and then Spoke, “I’ll trouble you with this, Grandfather.”
Old Man Ye nodded and then Spoke, “In that case, I’ll go discuss it with the Five Great Families and see whether we can invite the Liu Clan to Make a move and provide Assistance.”
After Old Man Ye left, Ye Linyuan also returned to the Valley. From then on, he planted Jade Marrow Rice while waiting for something.
