She asked Lin Xue’er, “Are we going home next, or going somewhere else for fun?”
Lin Xue’er thought for a moment. “A friend of mine is opening her business today. I’ll take you to her place to have some fun!”
“Sure.” An Ran did not ask further questions and nodded. In any case, Lin Xue’er would not take her anywhere improper.
Yet more than twenty minutes later, Lin Xue’er pulled An Ran into a Clubhouse. As soon as they entered, noisy music and excited screams greeted them.
They walked farther inside and reached a stage, where a group of handsome men performed sensual dances.

This shocked the men who were enjoying themselves in Brothels. They had been embracing beauties and watching the Heavenly Screen when they saw so many men arrested and thrown into jail.

The prostitutes stood there in a daze, unsure whether to feel happy or something else. If the future era was like this, did that mean there were no more prostitutes?
No, some still existed. Otherwise, the Government Office would not have arrested those men. But prostitution was illegal there, so there would be far fewer victims like them.
Unfortunately, they had not lived in that era. All they could do was wait in Brothels for their beauty to fade—some lucky enough to linger on in misery, while the unlucky died in agony.
