Boom!
The roar of the Bolter echoed throughout the entire camp.
A Dwarf Musketeer’s chest exploded violently.
Flesh and blood scattered like torn paper, and the short body was sent flying several meters.
The Battle Brother had already crashed into the enemy formation.
No techniques.
No probing.
The Chainsword was unstoppable.
Hum!
The high-speed rotating teeth of the Chainsword came crashing down.
A Dwarf raised his musket to block it.
The gun broke.
His hand broke.
The Chainsword continued downward.
Splat!
The entire Dwarf was torn apart from the shoulder.
Fresh blood splashed across the black power armor.
The Battle Brother turned around.
Second strike.
Third strike!
The Dwarf Musketeers were like a pack of helpless dogs being beaten by a merciless giant.
No fancy moves.
No complicated techniques.
Just the most direct form of violence!
As for the attacks from a distance?
They couldn’t even break through.
Bang!
Dozens of lead bullets slammed into the Battle Brother’s chest armor.
Sparks flew everywhere.
But the black power armor didn’t even make him take a step back.
[Demigod Body!]
[Ranged damage reduced by 40%!]
[Battle Brother!]
[Current Black Templars units: 17!]
[Attack power increased by 34%!]
[Damage received reduced by 34%!]
The two layers of damage reduction were calculated separately!
The damage dealt by the muskets had been reduced to an extremely low level.
And melee combat?
It was even worse!
“Kill!”
A Dwarf Musketeer had run out of bullets and could only charge at the Astartes with a dagger.
The Battle Brother didn’t even bother dodging.
Bang!
The dagger struck his leg armor.
A heavy metallic clang rang out.
The next second, the Battle Brother swung his arm back and grabbed the Dwarf by the head.
His five fingers clamped down like iron tongs.
He lifted him into the air.
Boom!
Then smashed him directly into the ground!
Leo stood in the distance.
His eyes grew brighter and brighter.
This fucking thing was what you called a Tier 4 troop!
The other sixteen Astartes had also slaughtered their way into the camp.
Bolters roared.
Chainswords growled.
The newly recruited Astartes continuously opened fire from both sides.
Sixty Dwarf Musketeers.
Fifty.
Thirty.
A dozen or so!
The entire battle didn’t even last that long.
“Run!”
No one knew which Dwarf broke first.
The remaining five Musketeers turned around and fled.
They even threw away their weapons!
Their morale had completely collapsed!
Leo didn’t bother chasing them.
The territory headquarters was empty.
Two hundred Steel Legion soldiers entered the camp.
Crimson lasers swept across the final points of resistance.
Ding!
[Congratulations to Lord Leo for defeating player Lund!]
[The current territory has lost its ability to resist!]
[Please select a processing method!]
Leo was too lazy to even look at the remaining options.
“Destroy!”
Boom!
The territory core exploded!
The Dwarf Workshop began collapsing.
Large sections of the buildings turned into light spots.
A purple light flew out from the ruins.
[Obtained D-Rank Military Building Blueprint: Dwarf Workshop!]
The blueprint had barely fallen into Leo’s hands when the familiar red prompt appeared.
[Transformable building detected!]
[Transforming!]
[Transformation complete!]
[D-Rank Dwarf Workshop transformed into Armageddon Steel Legion Vehicle Factory!]
“Hmm?”
Leo was stunned for a moment.
“Why is there a duplicate?”
Didn’t he already have the Armageddon Steel Legion War Fortress?
Chimera.
Sentinel.
Hellhound.
Leman Russ.
The War Fortress could already produce a large number of vehicles.
Leo opened the blueprint.
[Armageddon Steel Legion Vehicle Factory]
[Special Effect: Vehicle Modification]
[Can repair, modify, and strengthen vehicles belonging to the Armageddon Steel Legion.]
[Possesses an independent vehicle production sequence.]
“I see.”
It wasn’t a duplicate!
The War Fortress was responsible for mass production.
This factory focused more on vehicle production and modification!
Three brand-new units appeared below.
[Tier 1: Cyclops Remote-Controlled Demolition Vehicle]
[Small tracked remote-controlled demolition vehicle.]
[No conventional combat capability. Can lock onto city walls, arrow towers, beast dens, and building cores for self-destruction demolition!]
Leo’s eyes lit up.
“Good stuff!”
Send it forward during a siege.
Boom!
What gate?
What tower?
What territory core?
Blow them all up!
[Tier 2: Centaur Light Transport]
[Light tracked transport vehicle.]
[Equipped with twin heavy machine guns, carrying fewer personnel, possessing extremely high mobility.]
[Suitable for transporting Grenadiers, heavy weapon teams, executing rapid support, seizing resource points, and flanking missions.]
[Tier 3: Salamander Scout Vehicle]
[High-speed armored reconnaissance vehicle.]
[Weapons: Autocannon, Heavy Bolter.]
[Possesses long-range battlefield reconnaissance capability, can provide remote volley coordinates for artillery units.]
Leo grinned.
“Not bad!”
Especially the Salamander.
It was the perfect partner for the Basilisk self-propelled artillery.
Once the scout vehicle moved ahead, the artillery wouldn’t even need to see the enemy!
The coordinates would be sent back.
Then the artillery could simply flatten the entire area!
Leo continued inspecting the spoils of war.
There were two more items.
[Tier 1 Gold Mine Building Blueprint × 1]
[Steel Furnace Building Blueprint × 1]
The Steel Furnace had barely appeared when the red light flashed again!
Ding!
[Transformable building detected!]
[Transformation complete!]
[Obtained special building: Promethium Refinery!]
Leo’s eyes suddenly widened.
“Holy crap!”
“It dropped gold!”
Promethium!
He happened to have a [C-Rank Promethium Extractor] blueprint in his possession!
One was responsible for mining.
The other was responsible for refining.
The fuel industrial chain that had always been missing…
Was finally complete!
Chimeras.
Salamanders.
Centaurs.
Future Leman Russes.
Basilisk self-propelled artillery.
These iron monsters couldn’t run on water!
“It has to be player camps!”
Leo put away the blueprints.
The smile never left his face.
“Let’s go!”
“Next one!”
More than an hour later.
Large areas of the wasteland gradually became flat.
A third player territory could already be seen in the distance.
“My Lord!”
The new Astartes scout suddenly stopped.
“The opponent has already discovered us.”
Leo looked up.
“How do you know?”
Boom.
The ground gently shook.
Then again.
Boom!
Boom!
Dust jumped from the gravel on the ground.
The Astartes looked forward.
“My Lord.”
“Large units are approaching.”
Leo narrowed his eyes.
Sure enough.
Not long after, a huge figure appeared behind the distant earthen slope.
Then a second.
Then a third!
An entire group!
Thick legs.
Chubby bodies.
Every single one was as wide as two or three ordinary humans combined.
Their huge bellies were exposed.
Each one held a crude, heavy club in its hands.
[Ogre Brawler!]
Leo raised an eyebrow.
Ogres.
A large race in the Galaxy world!
Legend had it that their ancestors had a deep connection with the Titan giants.
Over the long years, they had continuously degenerated, losing the terrifying size of true giants.
Even so, they still firmly occupied a place among the large races.
Some players even joked:
Are large troop types actually good or not?
Just drag out an Ogre of the same Rank and fight it.
You’ll find out!
They were basically large-unit quality inspectors!
“Those people in front!”
A voice came from behind the Ogres.
“What are you doing bringing so many people here?”
A player poked his head out from behind the group.
“That’s my territory up ahead!”
“Stay away!”
He pointed at the Ogres.
“Don’t fucking blame me for not warning you!”
“My Ogres aren’t vegetarians!”
Leo was stunned for a moment.
Then a smile suddenly appeared on his face.
In Galaxy, opposing players couldn’t see the attributes or Ranks of each other’s troops.
Perfect.
“Let’s see if I can pretend to be clueless and blindside him.”
Leo walked out from among the two hundred Steel Legion soldiers.
He raised his hand and waved.
“Hello, brother!”
“I’m Leo!”
The opposing player was obviously stunned.
Leo?
The name sounded familiar.
It seemed like he’d heard it somewhere before.
But when he looked at the dozens of enormous Ogres beside him, his confidence immediately returned.
“You ain’t shit, no matter who you are!”
“Get lost!”
“If you take another step forward, I’ll attack!”
“Alright!”
Leo agreed immediately.
The other player was stunned.
Leo pointed at the two armies.
“How about this?”
“Let’s not have everyone under our command fight.”
“Send one soldier each.”
“Solo!”
“If you lose…”
“Give me a blueprint.”
“If I lose…”
“I’ll give you a blueprint.”
“How about it?”
The Ogre Lord looked at Leo.
Then he looked at the black-armored soldiers behind him.
Suddenly, he burst out laughing.
“Hahahaha!”
Solo?
Against an Ogre?
Wasn’t this basically handing him a blueprint?
“You said it yourself!”
“Don’t go back on your word!”
Leo smiled as well.
“I won’t.”
“Come!”
The Ogre Lord waved his massive hand.
“You!”
“Come out!”
Boom!
Among the group of Ogres, the tallest one stepped forward.
Its nearly four-meter-tall body was like a wall of flesh.
Its club dragged across the ground, plowing a deep ditch through the soil.
The Ogre opened its huge mouth, revealing a row of yellow teeth.
“I reckon…”
Leo turned his head.
“Astartes.”
Click.
The Battle Brother stepped forward.
The chains hanging from his power armor gently clinked.
The Chainsword hung at his side.
The two stood facing each other.
One looked like a behemoth that had walked out of the wilderness.
The other looked like a killing machine forged from black steel.
The opposing player was already grinning from ear to ear.
Leo smiled as well.
“Then let’s begin.”
“Buddy.”
“Good!”
The Ogre Lord waved excitedly.
“Come on!”
Leo took a step back.
The Battle Brother raised his head.
Beneath the helmet, his cold gaze locked onto the Ogre.
“Hum—!”
The Chainsword…
Activated.
