“Watch me smash you flat!”

The Ogre Brawler let out a strange roar.

Its massive body suddenly lunged forward!Full novel: Lord of All Empires: My Summons Came From Warhammer — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Boom!

Its thick legs stomped into the mud.

The nearly four-meter-tall body carried terrifying power, and the club in its hand was raised high!

Whoosh—!

The sharp sound of the club tearing through the air was brutal!

It smashed straight toward the top of the Battle Brother’s head!

The Battle Brother moved.

Both hands tightened around the Chainsword.

Sprint!

Just as the two sides were about to collide, its steps suddenly shifted to the left.

It sidestepped and lowered its head!

Boom!

The club smashed into the ground.

Mud exploded everywhere.

The attack missed!

“What the fuck?”

The Ogre Lord watching from a distance widened his eyes in shock.

It dodged?

This black-armored knight actually dodged?

The combat style of most low-tier units in Galaxy was extremely simple.

Charge.

Attack.

Parry.

Most of the time, battles were simply a head-on clash of stats!

Technique?

Of course, it existed.

But it only became truly noticeable once units reached the Advanced level or became heroes.

Yet this black-armored knight had actually taken the initiative to dodge.

And it had dodged the club at point-blank range!

“You…”

The Ogre Brawler became anxious.

“Don’t move!”

“Let me—”

Before it could finish speaking—

Buzz-buzz-buzz!

A teeth-grinding cutting sound suddenly rang out!

Flesh and bone were torn apart simultaneously by the Chainsword’s rapidly rotating teeth!

The Battle Brother was already right in front of the Ogre’s chest.

The Chainsword slashed horizontally!

Puff!

A huge amount of fresh blood sprayed out.

The blade sank almost completely into the Ogre’s chest!

[Melee Mastery triggered!]

[Armor Piercing!]

[Attack hit a vital point!]

[This attack deals 2.5 times critical damage!]

[Killed Tier-1 Ogre Brawler × 1!]

Boom!

The nearly four-meter-tall body crashed into the mud.

It never moved again.

Silence.

The smile on the Ogre Lord’s face froze.

Leo, however, smiled.

“Hahahahaha!”

He strode forward and extended his hand like he was here to collect a debt.

“A bet’s a bet, brother!”

“The blueprint.”

“Hand it over!”

“…”

The Ogre Lord’s expression darkened bit by bit.

Fuck.

Where the hell was he supposed to get another blueprint?

He had already used all the blueprints he had!

Looking at the dead Ogre on the ground, his heart ached.

This was a large-scale unit!

Then he suddenly realized something.

No!

He had been tricked!

“Did you fucking trick me?!”

The Ogre Lord pointed at Leo.

“Did you already know this thing could win?”

“Let me see its stats!”

“Otherwise, I’m not giving you anything!”

Leo raised an eyebrow.

Hey!

This guy wasn’t stupid at all!

He was almost laughing inside, but his expression immediately became serious.

“What do you mean?”

“You’re trying to renege on the bet?”

“Oh!”

Seeing Leo’s reaction, the Ogre Lord became even more confident.

“So what if I renege?”

He pointed behind him.

Ogre Brawlers stood there one after another.

Massive clubs rested on their shoulders, and their bulky bodies almost completely blocked the camp behind them.

“Your black-armored knight is pretty badass.”

“But how many of them do you have?”

“I have eighty Ogre Brawlers here!”

He glanced at the corpse.

“Bah!”

“No!”

“Seventy-nine!”

The Ogre Lord’s confidence returned.

“I also control two Tier-2 neutral resource points!”

“You dare offend me?”

“You better think carefully!”

Leo lowered his head.

His shoulders suddenly began to shake.

“What are you laughing at?”

“Nothing.”

Leo raised his head, and he could no longer suppress the grin on his face.

“Brother.”

“I’ve thought it through.”

The next second, his smile completely disappeared.

“Charge!”

“Battle Brother!”

“Warriors of Armageddon!”

Leo raised his hand and pointed forward.

“The enemy is Xenos!”

“Kill them!”

The two hundred Armageddon Steel Legion soldiers had already spread out.

They hadn’t been standing around doing nothing during the duel.

Their firing line had already been formed!

The Ogre Lord’s expression changed drastically.

“You fucking—”

Hum!

Crimson lasers instantly tore across the wasteland!

Scorched, bloody holes exploded across the chest of the first Ogre.

Its massive body staggered backward.

More lasers rained down!

Bang!

Bang-bang-bang!

Bolters roared!

The Black Templars Crusaders charged straight forward!

“Damn it!”

“Get them!”

“Fucking kill them!”

The Ogre Lord panicked as well.

The remaining Ogres roared simultaneously.

Clubs were raised!

The earth shook!

Rip!

A Chainsword swept across an Ogre’s abdomen.

Its thick flesh split open instantly.

A Battle Brother stepped through the blood and swung its sword again!

Then again!

Furious.

Brutal.

Without the slightest hesitation!

Leo stood at the back, watching the battle.

A term suddenly popped into his mind.

Black Ork!

The nickname Warhammer players gave the Black Templars really wasn’t undeserved.

These guys were fucking brutal when they fought!

An Ogre had just raised its club when—

Bang!

A bolt pistol fired.

Its head exploded instantly.

The Astartes didn’t even glance at the corpse.

Its muzzle shifted.

Bang!

Another one!

On the other side, several Neophytes had already charged into the Ogre formation.

Chainswords roared.

Bolt pistols were pressed right against their enemies’ faces!

Shoot if they were far away.

Chop if they got close.

They gave the Ogres no chance to use their size advantage!

Leo’s eyes grew brighter and brighter.

In the future, as the Black Templar system continued advancing, he could have Battle Brothers at the front while supplementing them with Intercessors who truly excelled at mid-to-long-range firepower.

Bolt rifles would form the firing line while the melee units pushed forward.

That picture…

Comfortable!

The Ogre Lord on the other side wasn’t having nearly as comfortable a time.

“The left!”

“Hold the left for me!”

“Number Three! Smash that black-armored one!”

“Don’t chase!”

“Come back!”

“Get your fucking ass back here!”

His hands waved frantically.

Orders were being shouted nonstop.

Micro-management!

Constant micro-management!

Even though the Ogres clearly outnumbered the enemy, their battle line was retreating frantically!

They hadn’t even managed to get close to the Armageddon Steel Legion’s formation.

What made the Ogre Lord’s scalp tingle even more were those black-armored knights.

They couldn’t be killed!

An Ogre finally found an opening and brought its club down hard on a Neophyte.

Bang!

The power armor shook violently.

The Astartes staggered back two steps.

But it didn’t fall!

The Ogre Lord’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

“Fuck?”

Another club strike!

Bang!

The Astartes charged straight into the attack and drove its Chainsword into the Ogre’s abdomen!

“Damn it!”

“Are they fucking hacking?!”

The Ogre Lord completely panicked.

They couldn’t fight!

There was simply no way to fight them!

“Run!”

He turned and fled!

[Enemy lord has fled the battlefield!]

[Ogre forces’ morale has dropped drastically!]

[Morale has collapsed!]

The Ogres, who had originally been fighting desperately, began retreating.

One.

Two.

Then more and more!

Large-scale barbarian units like these might fight ferociously, but once their morale collapsed, they would run just like anyone else.

Especially when their lord or hero left the battlefield.

Their morale collapsed even faster!

Leo pointed forward.

“Chase!”

“After them!”

“The base is right here!”

“Where else can you run?!”

Lasers fired continuously.

The Black Templars strode forward in pursuit.

Three minutes later, the last fleeing Ogre fell to the ground.

Boom!

Its corpse kicked up a huge cloud of dust.

Leo looked across the battlefield.

Including the one that had died in the duel earlier, a full eighty Ogres had fallen here!

“Surround them!”

The two hundred Steel Legion soldiers quickly spread out.

All their weapons were aimed at the territory entrance.

The Black Templars walked at the very front.

The Ogre Lord stumbled back into the camp.

His face was pale.

“Blademaster!”

“Blademaster!”

“Save me!”

“The enemy is hacking!”

“All the Ogres are dead!”

In the center of the camp, a tall figure slowly opened its eyes.

Green skin.

A massive body.

A bare upper body covered in scars.

A giant battle blade rested across its knees.

Around its neck hung a necklace made from air-dried human skulls.

[Orc Blademaster!]

One of the most common Ork heroes in the galaxy!

The Orc Blademaster slowly stood up.

With one hand, it lifted the giant battle blade.

“As you wish.”

“My lord.”

“I will take action.”

The Ogre Lord clung to it like a drowning man grabbing onto a lifeline.

“Good!”

“Good!”

He suddenly pointed toward the inside of the camp.

“Take all the remaining twenty Ogres!”

“Kill them for me!”

“Don’t let a single one escape!”

The Orc Blademaster stepped forward.

Behind him, twenty Ogres slowly raised their clubs.

Outside the camp, the Battle Brother stopped.

Fresh blood dripped from the Chainsword onto the ground, one drop at a time.
