Upon returning to the territory, Mail reported to Chen Ping and then set off again with the cavalry.
To lure the main force of the Lizardmen out, the cavalry was the best choice.
Chen Ping's territory only had about ten horses, and they were all nags.
However, the cavalrymen's self-learning compensated well for the horses' shortcomings.
After mastering the 'Knight's Charge' skill, they also mastered the 'Horsemanship Training' passive.
Now, as Mail charged towards the Lizardmen's habitat, they were all hot-blooded and fearless.
Soldiers who hadn't seen blood weren't good soldiers.
Lord treated us so well, and everyone has learned so many skills.
Just lifting weights daily could no longer satisfy the restless hearts of these men.
In less than half a day, they had charged into the Lizardmen's territory.
Mail waved his hand, and the cavalry charged with their spears; the wooden palisades built by the Lizardmen couldn't stop them at all.
After being kicked away by the warhorses, the cavalrymen successively stabbed several Lizardmen to death.
The attacked Lizardmen fled back into their burrows in a panic.
Soon after, a horn sounded.
Large numbers of Lizardmen soldiers, armed with crude weapons, rushed out.
The large Lizardmen leader made his grand entrance, and his eyes immediately lit up when he saw Mail and the cavalry, who were calmly waiting.
The moment he saw Mail, the Lizardmen leader's eyes gleamed.
"Waga!!"
The Lizardmen leader pointed at Mail, and the Lizardmen legion immediately charged out, wailing and howling.
Mail saw the Lizardmen leader's aggressive gaze and gestures, and a look of disdain appeared on his icy face.
The Lizardmen leader was enraged by Mail's attitude and immediately picked up his large axe and charged forward.
Seeing this, Mail turned and led the cavalry in retreat.
The Lizardmen were said to have dragon blood, and while their strength was debatable, they certainly inherited the dragons' lustfulness.
The Lizardmen leader was single-mindedly focused on capturing Mail for his nefarious purposes, wishing he had more legs to chase faster.
Almost all the Lizardmen soldiers from the camp pursued them, roughly counting a hundred to nearly two hundred.
The Lizardmen's reproductive capacity was impressive; if they continued to delay, their numbers could double.
Below the territory's city wall, Chen Ping stood with his hands behind his back at the main gate.
Due to material and time constraints, he hadn't built a grand city wall that horses could run on.
But the city wall beside him was at least one meter thick at the base, tapering upwards to form a conical face, perfectly capable of intercepting mere Lizardmen.
In front of him, the territory's soldiers were also eager, their faces filled with excitement.
Even the Farmers who were working and passing by in the back occasionally looked over, as if watching a show.
This made Chen Ping somewhat exasperated.
After some thought, Chen Ping ordered all Farmers and workers to stop their work and gather at the city wall gate.
He wanted these Farmers to witness the upcoming battle.
In his view, merely knowing how to work was not enough; they needed the composure to face battle without changing expression to be considered qualified residents.
As the territory grew, battles would be inevitable in the future.
In the worst-case scenario, they might even be attacked right into the core of the territory.
If the residents could maintain their composure under such circumstances and pressure, the territory's development would not be greatly affected.
Mail also stood by, with his hands clasped.
He was a magic apprentice, much more knowledgeable than the other residents.
With Mail present and seeing the soldiers, he did not believe the Lizardmen could threaten the territory.
Especially among the infantry, there was a young man gripping a greatsword with both hands, exuding a powerful deterrent.
Chen Ping also noticed this fellow.
He immediately used his Lord's authority to open the other party's information.

"He's actually a young man with a talent."
Chen Ping confirmed that this young man was one of the individuals rewarded by the power of the Supreme Dimension when his territory was promoted to Level 1.
He didn't expect a talented individual to appear among a bunch of blank slates.
The Immense Strength talent was an excellent warrior talent.
No wonder that guy was carrying a greatsword; it clearly wasn't light, and if he smashed it down, there probably wouldn't be a complete corpse left.
This discovery somewhat surprised Chen Ping.
He immediately looked at his other residents and indeed found several with talents.
As long as these residents are properly developed, they are bound to achieve extraordinary things in the future.
"I still need to quickly upgrade to a Level 5 territory and appoint a Land Administrator after unlocking the position authority."
"In the future, all these promising individuals should be recorded and specifically nurtured."
Just as Chen Ping was musing, a commotion came from afar.
Milan and the cavalry appeared on the horizon, with dust rolling behind them—it was the Lizardmen.
"All soldiers, form ranks and prepare for battle!"
Milan's voice carried from a distance.
The territory's soldiers, who were already prepared, moved swiftly.
They used the city gate as their stronghold, setting up three lines of defense in front of it.
Battle was about to erupt!
