Нis еxprеssion was cаlm. “Shu Мiао, you rеаllу wаnt to draw а clеar line bеtween us, dоn’t you?”

Shu Мiao’s brows аnd еуes twitсhеd slightly. “What do уou mеаn?”

Meng Yuсhuan worе a hаlf-smilе. “Yоu must havе guessed mу feelings fоr уоu a long time ago, right?”

Shu Miao bit hеr liр and said nothing, staring аt him intеntly.

Meng Yuсhuаn’s smile remained at the corner of his mouth. “If you finish that bottle of wine, I won’t bother you anymore in the future. How about that?”

Shu Miao looked up, carefully studying Meng Yuchuan for a while.

After pondering for a long time, she hesitated. “Are you serious?”

Meng Yuchuan answered directly, “Yes.”

“As long as I finish this bottle of wine, you won’t disturb me anymore?”

“Right.”

Shu Miao sneered. “What if I don’t drink it?”

Meng Yuchuan raised an eyebrow and spoke casually, “Then I’ll have to keep bothering you. If that doesn’t work, I’ll ask your colleagues for help. I’m sure they’d be more than willing.”

The threat was obvious.

Shu Miao’s face instantly fell, and she thought to herself: How despicable!

But considering that Meng Yuchuan would no longer pester her in the future, the condition was indeed very tempting.

She just wanted to work and live peacefully, far away from Meng Yuchuan.

If he insisted on clinging to her, given his status, it would be all too easy for him to come up with excuses to transfer her to work or do something else in the future.

She was just a small staff member, unable to fight against someone as powerful as Meng Yuchuan.

After weighing the pros and cons, she made a decision.

It was just red wine, after all. She had drunk it before—it was just an excuse she had used to brush off Meng Yuchuan earlier.

She had tasted it a few times during meals at home. She knew red wine wasn’t very strong, so no matter what, she wouldn’t get drunk.

What Shu Miao didn’t expect was that she had seriously overestimated her alcohol tolerance and would later regret her recklessness at this moment.

Drinking a small glass of red wine and finishing an entire bottle were two completely different things, especially for someone like her who rarely drank.

Shu Miao directly picked up the red wine and poured it into her glass.

Looking at the full glass of deep red liquid, Shu Miao silently encouraged herself: Just treat it like a drink.

Taking a deep breath, she picked up the glass, tilted her head back, and downed it in one go.

After finishing the glass, her head already felt a bit dizzy. Shu Miao remembered something she had heard somewhere: When drinking, you have to go all at once. If you stop, you won’t be able to finish.

She reached out again, picked up the wine bottle, and continued pouring, her hand already a bit unsteady.

Meng Yuchuan crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair, watching Shu Miao pour another full glass. A sly smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

A few minutes later, the bottle was empty.

Shu Miao finished the last sip, her cheeks already flushed with two patches of red.

She put down her glass and looked at Meng Yuchuan with an arrogant, triumphant expression. “I finished it.”

Looking at Shu Miao, who was drunk without realizing it, her eyes now hazy and unfocused, like two twinkling stars.

She leaned softly against the chair like a kitten, her figure appearing even more graceful.

Meng Yuchuan’s gaze suddenly deepened, gradually tinged with a thick layer of desire.

“I finished it. You have to keep your word.”

Shu Miao propped herself up weakly on the table with her small hands, her words already beginning to slur.

Meng Yuchuan smiled slyly. “Yes, you finished it.”Shu Miao smiled in satisfaction, propping her head on her hand. “Then I can leave now, right?”

Meng Yuchuan picked up a wet wipe and leisurely wiped his hands. “You may.”

Shu Miao stood up, leaning against the table to barely steady herself. She waved triumphantly at Meng Yuchuan. “Goodbye to you, then.”

With that, she staggered toward the door.

After a few steps, her head spun, and her vision blurred, unable to focus. She saw several doors, hazy and indistinct, but no matter how she reached out, she couldn’t grasp the door handle.

Suddenly, a wave of intense dizziness overwhelmed her. Shu Miao couldn’t hold on any longer and fell backward.

Instead of the expected pain, she landed in a warm, strong embrace.

Before losing consciousness, Shu Miao giggled and mumbled, “This floor is pretty soft, hehe.”

Then, she passed out completely.

Meng Yuchuan looked down at the person in his arms, drunk and curled up like a kitten. Her flushed cheeks and occasional soft murmurs stirred a restless longing within him.

His eyes held a nearly greedy desire and intense possessiveness. His voice was low and husky. “You’re mine now. From this day forward, you belong to me alone.”

He gently kissed Shu Miao’s smooth forehead, then lifted her into his arms and strode purposefully toward the private room’s exit.

Shu Miao was awakened by a series of soft, wet kisses. Her body stirred uneasily.

“Be good. It’ll be over soon.”

A man’s voice sent a shiver through her. She struggled to open her eyes, her mind still in disarray.

Through the haze, she saw Meng Yuchuan’s handsome face, his gaze dark and intense as he watched her.

A surge of panic and fear rose within her, sharpening her awareness slightly. She pushed against him, but his body was like an unyielding wall, impossible to move.

Tears welled in Shu Miao’s eyes, her voice trembling with a hint of a sob. “Let me go. What are you doing?”

Weakened by the alcohol, her pushes were feeble, and her protests carried an unintentionally pleading tone.

This only made Meng Yuchuan’s restraint harder to maintain.

His voice was hoarse and strained. “Sweetheart, let me kiss you. Be good.”

Terrified, Shu Miao began to cry. “I’m begging you, don’t do this. I’m scared, please…”

Feeling her tears fall on his face, Meng Yuchuan paused abruptly. He looked down at the woman beneath him, his expression thoughtful.

Shu Miao thought he might let her go, a flicker of hope rising in her heart.

But the next moment, Meng Yuchuan chuckled softly, as if mocking her naivety.

“Silly girl, you think too simply of men. Once the arrow is on the bowstring, it’s not so easily released.”

His crimson eyes were filled with aggression, like a predator fixated on its prey, ready to devour it whole.

“Shu Miao, I’ve waited long enough. No matter what, I won’t let you go today.”

“It might hurt for a while, but it’s a pain all women go through.”

“Endure it, and it’ll pass.”

He gently kissed her forehead again, his large hand caressing her cheek.

Shu Miao’s heart sank into despair. Tears blurred her vision, and she sobbed uncontrollably.

Meng Yuchuan wiped her tears away, his voice softening. “Be good. Stay with me, and I’ll treat you well.”

With that, he could hold back no longer. Shu Miao’s eyes widened in terror…

In that moment of possession, Meng Yuchuan felt an overwhelming sense of fulfillment.

Shu Miao lay powerless, facing everything that was happening to her, tears streaming silently from the corners of her eyes.Meng Yuchuan was like a frenzied beast, his eyes bloodshot, showing no trace of tenderness or mercy.

Shu Miao was the prey in his mouth, ruthlessly torn, ravaged, and finally devoured whole, bones and all.

Her pleas for mercy at this moment only acted as a powerful catalyst, intensifying his already overwhelming and fierce desire.

In the end, she couldn’t hold on any longer and fainted.

Meng Yuchuan’s eyes remained crimson, filled with a terrifyingly intense lust.
