Lin Xingyao didn’t mind at all and agreed with a smile, “Since we’re betting, shouldn’t there be a wager?”

As she spoke, she didn’t forget to touch the flower clip on her head, recording the details of the bet to prevent anyone from backing out later.

Song Qianqian was absolutely certain she couldn’t lose. She couldn’t wait to see Lin Xingyao make a fool of herself, so she came up with a malicious wager: “How about this? The loser walks around the mall in their underwear. What do you think?”Full novel: Madam Jun’s Endless Hidden Identities — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Lin Xingyao frowned slightly. “Isn’t that inappropriate? It’s a public place, after all. It wouldn’t be a good look.”

Afraid that Lin Xingyao might back out, Song Qianqian deliberately provoked her, “What’s wrong? Are you scared? If you are, you can crawl out of the mall like a dog instead.”

Lin Xingyao sneered disdainfully. “Fine, it’s a deal. I hope Miss Song won’t regret it.”

“You’re the one who’ll regret it!” Song Qianqian immediately shot a glance at the store manager.

The store manager walked over to the junior clerk and said arrogantly, “You can leave.”

As an employee who hadn’t even passed the probation period, the clerk could be dismissed with just a word from the store manager.

The junior clerk snorted, “You’re just a bully who picks on us newbies. Hmph, fine, I’ll leave. It’s no big deal!”

Just as she was about to walk away, Lin Xingyao stopped her. “The ten minutes aren’t up yet. Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Why not wait a bit? Maybe you really will become the store manager.”

Hearing this, the other three burst into laughter.

Lin Xingyao let them revel in their smugness as she took out her phone and called Jun Xuanye. “Are you busy?”

On the other end of the line, Jun Xuanye, who was in the middle of a video conference with his former subordinates, quickly closed his laptop. “I’m resting, not busy.”

Lin Xingyao hummed in acknowledgment and got straight to the point. “I don’t like the store manager at the LL lingerie counter in Tianfu Cheng. I want someone else to take over. You have five minutes to make it happen.”

With that, she hung up.

Before leaving, Lin Xingyao had specifically told him to rest and not overexert himself, so Jun Xuanye breathed a sigh of relief. “Thank goodness, she wasn’t checking up on me.”

Song Qianqian crossed her arms and sneered. “Look at her putting on airs. Anyone would think she’s the owner of Tianfu Cheng.”

Lin Xingwei chimed in, “She’s probably spent too much time with that lunatic and lost her mind. She can’t tell fantasy from reality anymore.”

Song Qianqian shook her head and sighed. “She was perfectly fine, but she had to marry a lunatic for money and ended up going crazy herself.”

Just then, a man in a suit hurried over. The store manager immediately bowed to him. “Good afternoon, Manager Luo.”

Luo Wen was the professional manager of Tianfu Cheng, responsible for the mall’s overall operations. He had been in a meeting when he suddenly received a call from Jun Xuanye. Shocked and hearing that the madam was here, he couldn’t stay seated and rushed over immediately.

Luo Wen glanced at the people present and cautiously asked, “May I ask who is the owner of the Heijin Ka?”

Lin Xingwei looked utterly confused.

Song Qianqian took a black card out of her bag and shot a smug look at Lin Xingyao. “Manager Luo, did you come here because you heard I was here?”

Lin Xingwei immediately started fawning over her. “Wow, it’s a VIP card! Only guests who’ve spent over five million in the mall get one. Qianqian, you really are something!”

Luo Wen shook his head. “I’m sorry, but the VIP card only offers some special discounts. What I mentioned earlier was the Heijin Ka, of which only one has ever been issued. The holder of the Heijin Ka can obtain any product in this mall for free, even if they were to empty the entire mall.”

Upon hearing this, both Lin Xingwei and Song Qianqian were astonished. “Empty the entire mall? There’s actually such a card?” How prestigious must it be!

Lin Xingyao casually pulled a card from her bag and asked, “Are you talking about this card?”

As soon as Luo Wen saw the card, he understood Lin Xingyao’s identity. He bowed respectfully and said, “I apologize for your unpleasant shopping experience. As you command—”

After speaking, he turned to the store manager and said, “You’re fired. Please leave the mall immediately.”

The store manager, unwilling to accept this, protested, “Manager Luo, I’ve worked diligently here for several years. How can you just dismiss me like this?”

Luo Wen replied, “Because you’ve offended someone you shouldn’t have!”

Song Qianqian also stepped forward. “Manager Luo, is it? Let me tell you, no matter the reason, you cannot fire this store manager today. I am the young lady of the Song Family, and I’ve spent a considerable amount of money here over the years. If you don’t follow my instructions, you’ll lose the Song Family as a major client.”

Lin Xingyao raised an eyebrow. “Oh, a major client. Manager Luo, from today onward, Tianfu Cheng will no longer do business with Miss Song.”

Luo Wen replied, “Yes, as you command.”

Song Qianqian’s expression instantly changed. “Manager Luo, do you really not care about offending our Song Family?”

Luo Wen said, “I’m sorry, but I’m just an employee. The boss’s wife has spoken, so I have no choice but to comply.”

Lin Xingwei was still confused. “What boss’s wife?”

Luo Wen looked at Lin Xingyao. “This lady is the boss’s wife of Tianfu Cheng.”

Song Qianqian stared at Lin Xingyao in disbelief. “You mean her? When did she become the boss’s wife of Tianfu Cheng? Your boss… could it be that mad young master of the Jun Family?”

Luo Wen’s eyes turned cold. “Miss, please watch your words. Our boss was indeed unwell before, but he has now begun to recover.”

Jun Xuanye, the boss, had not managed the business here since Tianfu Cheng was established. No one outside knew it was his property, but today, for the sake of his wife, he had revealed his identity. These people had the audacity to challenge his wife—truly ignorant of their own limitations.

“Recovered? Is that true?” Lin Xingwei was shocked. She had never heard of someone who had gone mad recovering.

Luo Wen was already tired of wasting words on these ignorant women. He turned to Lin Xingyao and said respectfully, “Madam, if you have any further instructions, please just say the word.”

Lin Xingyao pointed to the stunned sales clerk beside her. “I like this girl. From now on, she’ll be the store manager here. As for the rest, there doesn’t seem to be anything else. I came here mainly to shop, not to cause a scene.”

Lin Xingyao had plenty of ways to make Song Qianqian suffer if she wanted to, but she wanted to see whether Jun Xuanye would stand up for her, even if it meant offending the Song Family. After all, the Song Family was currently the only aristocratic family capable of rivaling the Jun Family.

Fortunately, Jun Xuanye did not disappoint her.

Song Qianqian, having kicked an iron plate, saw she couldn’t gain any advantage and glared furiously at Lin Xingyao before turning to leave.

Lin Xingyao blocked her path. “Miss Song seems to have forgotten the bet just now. The loser must abide by the outcome—wearing only underwear while walking around the mall. That was your own suggestion, after all. Honestly, I thought the wager was a bit harsh from the start, but since Miss Song insisted, I didn’t feel it was my place to say much.”
