Kares V. Blu, the current CEO of the Blue Company and the sister of John Alfred Blu.
She walked into the private room of the tea house with steady steps, she had this calm authority as she walked inside before her gaze turned to Arthur who was sitting in his seat with the same cold indifference of him making the place look colder just by looking at him.
Two auras stood one to one to each other, calm and cold.
Behind him, Ava was clicking her tongue in annoyance as she turned her face to the other side as she didn`t want to look at her at all.
It seems she really don`t get well with her.
And Kares, she only smiled in amusement as she looked at Ava who was standing behind Arthur, it was the smile that said she kind of expected her to be here.
The woman was quite tall reaching 179 cm only slightly shorter than Arthur. As she sat down in the seat in front of him with quite the elegance and grace of someone wealthy with authority.
Her light blue eyes that looked like a calm lake gazed at him with concealed interest as she crossed her right long leg on her left one.
"It`s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Arthur." Her voice was calm, deep and laced with hint of intrigue.
"The pleasure is mine, Mrs. Kares." He responded with his own tone.
Her deep purple hair fell around her shoulderd and back with few strands loose that only heightened her charm and elegance coupled with slightly lazy but subtle smile.
The red lipstick on her looking delicious lips as she spoke made her look even more alluring. But then, her eyes widened for a fraction of a second as she had noticed the wrong existence in front of her.
’He is a vampire for sure, but why he has a beating heart? And that fair skin, although pale it’s not like us at all!’ Many different thoughts ran through her mind she couldn’t believe the weird thing right in front of her. His aura and scent was sure of a vampire, but having a beating heart wasn’t something a vampire should have.
Quickly, she regained her composure and smiled again as usual, but that didn’t escape Arthur’s eyes at all, he just decided to let it pass.
"I know that the meeting is sudden, but considering the past interaction between the two companies. I had to request the meeting with you, Mr. Arthur." Kares said as two silver beautiful earrings gleamed in the light as she tilted her head slightly.
"I understand. So, you requested the meeting due to that reason or there was something else?"
"Quite the sharp mind you have, Mr. Arthur~" Her voice was laced with a hint of allure as her smile widened slightly.
"Well, in this kind of world, you can`t help but be suspicious of everyone around you, especially those who can stab you in the back." The last sentence was said with more coldness that sent shivers down the spine.
And that made Kares raise an eyebrow before humming a lazy tone.
"I can`t agree more with that, as it is indeed if you aren`t careful of those around you, you may lose something so precious one day~" Her eyes moved toward Ava as she said so.
’This bitch!’ Ava`s lips twitched with veins bulging in her head due to anger and annoyance from the woman sitting in front of her now husband with that infuriating smile of hers.
Just as the two women gazed at each other, electric currents were flying between them as if sworn enemies getting ready to kill each other right at this moment.

"Anyway, let`s get to the point, Mrs. Kares, shall we?" Arthur`s voice cut off that mood and calmed everything down as once Ava heard him, she immediately calmed down and stood close to him more like an obedient wife and less than a secretary.
’Now that`s quite shocking. The rebellious Ava who no one couldn`t control, not even her mother, was being obedient to someone else, and a man at that!’ Kares thought as she found it hard to believe that the Ava in front of her was the same Ava of the past, the one who was used to be so fierce and stubborn.
"Very well, Mr. Arthur." Kares said after a brief moment of silence.
"Before I replaced my brother, there was a deal between you and him reagrding electronic chips, right?"
"Yeah, the day I revised the contract, I was dissatisfied with the price and some other clauses that needed to be discussed further, so I was going to request a meeting with him." Arthur said without beating around the bush, straight to the point.
Then, another moment of silence filled the room, before Kares smiled again beautifully as she gazed at Arthur with her lake like blue eyes.
"Then shall we discuss the contract then? Don’t worry, I brought it with me~" As she said so, she took out the contract out of her bag with her delicate and long pale white fingers.
"You came preapred?" Arthur raised an eyebrow as he looked with interest at her.
"I’m always prepared for anything, Mr. Arthur~ or do you not like prepared women?"
"Not at all, this is something to be admired in a woman."
The smile on her face widened before gazing briefly at Ava who had that death promising smile with a gesture "You are dead." That made Kares even more amused and feel satisfied with this small victory.
’I’m gonna kill this bitch!’ Ava threatened inwardly as she watched Arthur and Kares looking through the documents and discussing the contract itself with professional ease.
And regarding the problems that Arthur had with the Blue Company, he didn’t go over it as he had already dealt with the source which was from the people in his own place.
And Ava had already told him that she had killed them in the night of that day he fired them.
And he briefly mentioned it during the contract review process with Kares just to point it out for her to remember.
And she highlighted it in her mind.
After two and half hours, they had finishd and reached an agreement regarding the price and the other clauses that Arthur found it needed some discussions.
"Well, it was nice talking to you, Mr. Arthur." Kares said with that slightly lazy yet subtle smile on her face.
"The feeling is mutual, but if I may ask," Suddenly, Arthur’s voice became colder while his eyes narrowred slightly as he leaned a little forward while looking at her with those special eyes of his.
They made Kares feel dazed as if something was pulling her into them, like slowly drowning in the deep dark ocean.
It made her gasp a little actually before breathing slowly to calm herself down.
’What was that just now?’ She asked inwardly before his voice interrupted her thoughts.
"Let’s be honest, this is not the reason for this meeting. Considering what had happened to your brother."
"Well Mr. Arthur, you are sharper than I expected—"
"Just get straight to the point, Mrs. Kares. We both know that this is just stalling."
Kares took a deep breath before releasing it then suddenly, the aura in the room changed, becoming tense and suffocating as if being drowned into the deep waters of the cold lake.
Kares didn’t smile, just looked serious.
"Look Mr. Arthur, though what happened to my brother was unfortunate, it didn’t bother me much. But I want to know how can a mere human being overpower a superior race like us." Her voice was calm but carried an edge to it.
"It’s not about a human overpowering someone from a superior race, it’s the problem of your arrogance. You overestimate yourselves too much that any weaker being can defeat you easily." Arthur said as his eyes glowed slightly.
"But here is the thing lady Kares, I don’t like it when someone threaten or hurt my family, even if they are gods, I won’t stop until I bring hell to everyone of them." A deep heavy killing intent suddenly came out and filled the whole room as it was directed toward one person.
Arthur.
He was the focus of that killing intent that came out of Kares as she glared at him.
"Do you want to make an enemy of the a noble vampire clan and the whole vampire race?!" Kares’s voice carried pride and power as she felt insulted when he said that.
To her, it meant that the whole race was nothing in his eyes, a mere newly transformed vampire dared to say that.
Does he has a death wish?!
And it was even worse when he threatened her family indirectly like that.
"I’m just telling you." Arthur’s eyes glowed crazily before darkness filled the room.
To Kares, the darkness suddenly filled everything around, so deafening, so silent.
Then in front of her, a pair of dark pink/purple eyes glared at her, they seemed to contain an entire cosmos in them, looking indifferent and merciless.
"Anyone who hurt my family shall face a fate worse than death, and that’s a promise that will be kept no matter the time or the place." A voice that carried a crazy intent that promised death and madness echoed in that darkness making Karss breathe heavily and feel as if something was eating her sanity away little by little.
’What is this thing!!’ She shouted inwardly with nervousness and fear.
Then as it came, it suddenly disappeared.
"Huff.."
Kares breathed heavily as she looked at Arthur who was sitting in front of her calmly as if nothing had happened at all.
Then seeing his eyes glaring back at her, she immediately looked away toward Ava who had that smug smile on her face as if she had won the grand prize.
Yet, she didn’t know what had happened to Kares at all in that brief moment.
Yeah, it was a brief moment, but to Kares it felt like a long time had passed.
Arthur then stood up and cast a brief look at Kares who looked down immediately before he walked out of the room while saying.
"It was nice doing business with you, Mrs. Kares."
Now left in the room was Ava and Kares.
Both looked at each other in silence for a moment before the one broke it spoke.
"Who is he?!"
It was Kares.
And for this, Ava smiled a very real and genuine smile of someone in love.
"He is my everything, my husband~"
"!! You—you married him?!!"
