In the Vane`s mansion.
Arthur was in the living room with Ella enjoying some time watching the TV.
"How are you feeling lately, Ella?" His soft gentle voice reached her immediately making her stop watching and looked at him with her now blood-red eyes.
"I`m feeling good, better than any time before." She said in a youthful voice filled with energy. She, of course, knew that she was a vampire after a little talk with Arthur and Ava, this shocked her but ultimately, she accepted it after enough demonstration. Still, she had her worries that she hid.
He nodded.
"Your college? Did anyone say anything to you?"
"No, just professors and my friends telling me to take better care of myself as you know, my skin is pale." She had an awkward smile as she looked at her brother remembering what her friends had told her when they saw her after a week of absence.
After Ella transformed into a vampire, her skin tone and eyes weren’t normal at all, so it wasn`t suitable for social interactions, so Arthur brought her lenses to change her eye color to the original green and let her stay for a week without going to the college under the pretense that she was sick and wouldn`t be able to come until next week.
He also made her apply a light makeup to make her complexion a little acceptable.
But that wouldn`t be enough in the long run. So, for now she would go to the college on some days and not every day.
"That`s good for now." He sighed before he looked at the movie playing on the TV.
Many things were running inside his head from what had happened to him and his sister, to what was going to happen with the Blue Company after discussing the contract with Kares, to what he would be doing from now on with his new life as a vampire, to his own self that he still didn`t find anything about after trying to look deeply into the past.
And list was going on causing Arthur a headache that was never ending.
’Let`s take it one step at a time.’
RINGG!!
While in his thoughts, his phone rang snapping him out of it. Ella glanced briefly at the phone with a strange gleam in her eyes before looking back at the movie playing on the TV again, her thoughts unknown.
Looking at the caller ID, Arthur found it was Ava, so he accepted the call.
But once he put the phone on his earsـــــ
[Arthur, we got a problem! Let’s meet immediately!]
Ava`s frantic voice came out from the other side making him confused and slightly alarmed, as from the tone of her voice, it seemed that whatever had happened, it was something problematic. This made him frown quite deeply.
"Calm down Ava, I`m coming right away."
[Okay, I will wait for you at the general park. Come quickly!]
"Ok."
After that, Ava hung up.
"Is it Ava?" Ella asked.
"Yeah, it seems something happened and I need to go and figure it out." He said as he stood up.
"Can I come with you?"
Hearing her question, Arthur looked at her briefly, he thought of leaving her here for a moment before the memory of what John did to her surfaced making him abandon any thoughts of leaving her alone.
Better be safe than sorry.
He nodded, making Ella smile brightly before she immediately stood up and ran to her room on the second floor to wear something other than her pajamas.
She changed her clothes and smoothed her hair before she hurried downstairs totally forgetting to put on her lenses.
Once everything was ready, they immediately got into the car before Arthur drove quickly to the general park.

In the general park.
Ava was sitting on the bench with someone standing beside her.
It was a woman of quite tall stature but exuded a dangerous aura that threatened to kill you in the worst ways possible.
Her hair was black styled into two long braids resting on her shoulders, her skin was deathly pale like a dead corpse, but her blood-red eyes that hid behind her rounded glasses hid so much vigor and danger.
She was wearing a victorian maid uniform along with brown boots as she stood with her back straight beside Ava who was sweating bullets looking clearly nervous.
’Come quickly Arthur!’ She screamed inwardly.
The maid was looking at Ava who looked as if she was waiting for her sentence with expressionless face that showed nothing, not even a hint of emotions.
And this made Ava more anxious.
But then, a car pulled over at the entrance of the general park from which Arthur got out making a beautiful smile spread across Ava`s face which made the maid standing beside her have a brief look of surprise on her face that none could notice as it was so quick before she went back to her expressionless face.
"Arthur, you finally came!" Ava said in a voice full of longing and love as she stood up and ran toward him with full speed.
Seeing the bundle of love who ran toward him with unnatural speed, Arthur smiled before he caught her in his arms as she hugged him tightly burying her face into his chest before she inhaled his scent greedily.
While the man himself was looking around feeling confused as he noticed that no one was here at all, not a single soul.
It was still 10 in the night, and usually some people would be found here in normal cases. Then he noticed the maid that was standing beside the bench where Ava was seated looking at him with expressionless face as her eyes behind the glasses glowed faintly sending shivers down his spine, but he didn’t show it.
Inside the car, Ella looked at her brother and Ava hugging with a strangle gleam in her eyes as she clenched her hands in to fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palm.
"What happened, Ava?"
Arthur`s voice cut the strange atmosphere making Ava pull back and looked up at him.
"Yeah, we ran into a big problem Arthur, a really big problem!"
"Yeah, what is it?" His arms were wrapped around her waist possessively as he talked.
And the maid noticed every little thing he made whether consciously or unconsciously.
"My mom, she wants to meet us!"
Arther looked at her with a slightly confused expression as he found no problem with her mother wanting to meet the man that her daughter loved, but considering their circumstances and what happened till this point beside the fact that he was married to her daughter on a deeper level.
’Yeah, it could be a real problem.’ He thought.
Then he noticed the maid coming toward them with steady steps, not too fast nor too slow just steady.
Once she stood in front of them, she gave a little bow of her own as she said in a voice that resounded so deep.
"It`s a pleasure to finally meet you, Arthur Vane."
