"It`s a pleasure to finally meet you, Arthur Vane." The maid said before she gave a little bow of hers then straightened her back.
"The pleasure is mine." Arthur nodded still holding Ava in his arms, who was so lost in her own world while burying her face into his chest inhaling his scent to her heart content.
He didn`t looked nervous, not afraid of her despite the aura she was exuding, any normal being would have fled with their own skin or passed out from such pressure, but Arthur despite feeling this, he didn’t look at all troubled, in fact, he looked normal.
Which made the maid quite interested inwardly as she didn’t show anything on her face.
"So, Ava, do you mind telling me who is she?" Hearing her husband`s question, Ava snapped out of her own world and looked back at the maid.
"Oh, she is the head maid, Nadia. Be careful she is so terrifying!" As she said so, Nadia looked at her with death glare that made Ava tremble and feel a shiver down her spine before she buried her face back into Arthur`s chest to feel safe which amused him.
Nadia sighed a little from Ava`s antics as she was used to it before looking at Arthur.
"My master wants to meet you and the young miss."
"Why now! Couldn’t she wait for some time?! I didn`t get to spend enough time with my darling!" Ava whined and pouted as she looked at Nadia with a flicker of annoyance.
"You caused a problem young miss and my lady wanted to hear from you."
"Bummer!" Ava hmphed.
While Arthur got to see another side of his now wife he hadn’t seen before, which made her look cuter in his eyes.
"Enough young miss Ava, we need to go now, or my lady will show you her other face."
And that made Ava shudder as she remembered the day when she did something bad and her mother showed her a face she couldn’t forget till this point.
The only word that could describe it was "A literal Hell!"
"I think we should go now and meet my mother, we don`t want to make her wait after all." Like an obedient daughter, Ava said and walked toward the black sedan that was parked nearby.
This made Nadia sigh and look at Arthur telling him to come.
"Can I bring my little sister? She is in the car."
"Why would you bring her from the beginning?"
"Well, difficult circumstances." As he said so, Nadia looked at his car to see a cute girl with deathly pale skin and green eyes, clearly putting lenses.
"You can bring her." As she said so, Arthur gestured for Ella to come out before they got into the black sedan where Ava was happy and excited to see Ella again.
Then, Nadia got into the driver’s seat and drove the car.
The destination: the Rains mansion.

As Ava and Ella spoke with each other, Arthur was looking at the changing scene through the car window noticing that they were going to the forest.
He wanted to ask why they were going to the forest, but he held himself back because he wasn’t someone that asked too many questions when the situation didn’t call for it.
Everything would be uncovered eventually.
He gave a brief glance at Nadia and saw her focused on the road, so he let it be and looked back at the changing scene outside.
As the car went through the forest, Arthur noticed that the road was stretched deeper inside in a way that normally, there shouldn’t be a road that deep inside due to the unequal grounds that had rocks protruding here and there beside the slope that went up because there was a mountain.
But right now, Arthur was seeing it, the road stretched so deep into the forest and seemed to not be affected by the slope, or it looked so as he could feel the car moving up in a way that was smooth without any difficulties.
Soon enough, they reached the top of the mountain just to see they were in front of a huge mansion that had a mix of old and new styles.
It gave some eerie vibe due to the bats flying around and the sounds of owls. But then Arthur felt it.
Inside that mansion, there was someone incredibly dangerous that could threaten his life ultimately.
The feeling came from deep inside him. It told him to be careful with whatever was inside.
And Arthur believed that feeling but kept inside.
The car went through the huge metallic gates that opened by themselves before parking the car near the entrance.
"Let`s get out." Ava said as she pulled Ella with her while Arthur got out himself.
"This way, my lady is waiting."
Nadia gestured toward the door before she opened it and walked inside with the three of them following behind her.
Though Arthur looked around to see several paintings hanging on the walls and other things engraved on them, he didn’t care and was thinking about his meeting with his mother-in-law.
Soon, they reached the living room where Ava`s mother should be waiting for them.
In front of the room, there was another maid waiting, it was Myne, who waved for them with a cheerful expression.
"Finally, you arrived~" Her voice was filled with energy.
"Behave yourself in front of our guests, Myne." Nadia`s deep commanding voice made Myne straighten her back like a soldier.
"Yes!"
Myne was a short maid with short blonde hair and cute expression. She wore a pair of black earrings that enhanced her beauty and made her look gorgeous. She was wearing a similar maid uniform like Naida but with shorter skirt that reached her knees.
Her eyes, of course, were red like blood.
"Mom, I`m back!" Ava said as she opened the doors of the living room and walked inside without any care.
This made Myne smile awkwardly while Nadia sighed at this.
’Every time I see her, I sigh a lot.’ She head maid thought before gesturing for Arthur and his sister to follow her inside along with Myne following in the back.
As Arthur walked inside, he saw a woman of incredible beauty sitting on the couch looking at the girl in her arms with an exasperated expression.
"You and your problems, my crazy daughter."
"Hehe that`s more than a proof that I`m really your daughter, mom~"
Hearing this, veins bulged on Scarlet`s head as she understood what her daughter was meaning.
"It seems you need a little in-house education about manners my silly daughter~"
This made Ava shiver and try to get out of her mother`s arms but couldn’t as Scarlet didn’t let her.
"No! Please save me darling! She is gonna kill me!" Ava cried for help from Arthur who was seeing this with a mix of amusement and intrigue.
This time, Scarlet looked at Arthur whom her daughter cried for help from. And once she saw him, she frowned.
And instead of a word of welcome or some teasing like she usually didـــــ
BOOM!
A suffocating aura was released out of her completely directed at Arthur leaving everything not affected by it.
And Arthur who felt this so heavy and suffocating bloody aura, felt like a huge mountain had fallen on him intending to crush him to a meat paste.
His expression hardened while he endured without any word or groan of pain.
Then, a deep killing voice came out of Scarlet who still held her daughter in her arms not letting go despite her struggle.
"Who are you?"
