Wen Conghan had allowed Ji Mianyue to touch her waist and abdomen for the sole purpose of tempting her. However, she had not expected Ji Mianyue to be such an exceptional student. When it came to applying a lesson to new situations, Ji Mianyue performed far too well. Just moments ago, Wen Conghan had been pressing Ji Mianyue’s hand, guiding it to feel her skin inch by inch. Now, Wen Conghan found herself being subjected to the exact same treatment.

Ji Mianyue pressed Wen Conghan’s hand against her own soft waist.

“You see? My waist is so soft. I do not have any abdominal muscles at all. I had already decided that before wearing this dress, I would need to exercise seriously for a while. But now, there is no need for that.”Full novel: Married First, Loved Later with the Fake Heiress (ABO) — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ji Mianyue feigned a relaxed attitude. Her soft and sweet tone made it seem as if she truly did not care about such things. Only after she finished speaking did she realize she was still holding Wen Conghan’s hand against her waist. Feeling as if she had been burned, she quickly pulled her hand away.

Ji Mianyue, are you losing your mind? she scolded herself internally.

When Wen Conghan withdrew her hand, she did so slowly, appearing unbothered. In reality, she loved seeing Ji Mianyue suddenly develop a sense of boundaries. It meant that the fact that Wen Conghan was an Alpha was becoming increasingly clear to her. The biggest difference between an Alpha and a mere friend is that the former is a potential partner. Wen Conghan knew that her position was beginning to transition from a friend to something more.

Wen Conghan unbuttoned her jacket, revealing a black base shirt underneath. Ji Mianyue stared blankly, her eyes fixed on the elegant curves of Wen Conghan’s figure.

“Do you want to watch me change?”

Wen Conghan was perfectly composed. Her tone suggested that watching her change was a perfectly acceptable option. Ji Mianyue’s face turned red instantly, and she stammered out a string of apologies. She turned around immediately to face the wall of the fitting room, looking like a little hamster reflecting on its mistakes.

As Wen Conghan watched Ji Mianyue face the wall, she felt a sudden urge to do the same. She needed to reflect on her own thoughts. Wen Conghan shook her head, realizing that her mind was becoming uncontrollable. The source of all her desires was right here, inside this small fitting room. The scent of sweetness lingered at the tip of her nose. If she simply reached out, she could pull the girl into her arms and breathe her in deeply.

The more Wen Conghan spent time with Ji Mianyue, the more she realized her self-control was not nearly as strong as she had imagined.

Inside the narrow fitting room, Ji Mianyue stared blankly at the patterns on the wall. She had been to this fitting room many times and had always thought it was spacious. However, with two people inside, the space felt small, and the scent of lavender surrounded her. Even though she was wearing a suppression patch, Ji Mianyue felt a wave of heat spreading through her entire body.

“Mianyue, could you help me with my zipper?”

Wen Conghan’s voice came from behind her, causing Ji Mianyue’s body to go stiff.

“Alright.”

When Ji Mianyue turned around, she felt as if her body no longer belonged to her. She was met with the sight of Wen Conghan’s snow white back. Wen Conghan’s skin was more delicate than falling snow. Ji Mianyue’s heart thudded so loudly that her thoughts began to scramble. The zipper of the dress was only ten centimeters away from her hand, yet she felt unable to reach out. More than any necklace, she found herself wanting to touch that porcelain skin.

“What is wrong?” Wen Conghan’s voice sounded right next to her ear.

Startled, Ji Mianyue reacted instinctively and pulled the zipper up in one swift motion.

“It is nothing! Nothing is wrong!” Ji Mianyue responded twice in quick succession, terrified that Wen Conghan would notice her internal turmoil. “I just thought you looked truly beautiful in this dress, so I was a bit slow.”

Ji Mianyue’s gaze had been wandering aimlessly, but after she finished her sentence, she looked at the mirror in front of them. The mirror was directly in front of Wen Conghan. While changing, Wen Conghan had actually been watching Ji Mianyue’s reflection the entire time. Consequently, she had seen exactly how shy Ji Mianyue had been.

“Is that so? Do you not think the skirt is a bit too short?”

Wen Conghan sounded slightly troubled. She smoothed down the hem of the dress, a look of concern on her face. Ji Mianyue was already dazed by the sight in the mirror. She had always known Wen Conghan had a great figure, but seeing her in this dress gave that fact a whole new definition. Her waist was so slender, and her legs were long, pale, and well-toned.

“No! It looks really good!”

Ji Mianyue was being driven crazy by the urge to reach out and touch her. She even began to wonder if she was actually losing her mind.

“But I am still not quite used to wearing short skirts,” Wen Conghan said with a hint of regret. She suddenly took hold of Ji Mianyue’s hand. “Why do you not try it on instead?”

Wen Conghan issued the gentle invitation. Her eyes were shining like warm sunlight on the sea.

“Me?”
