Shen Zhiyan had left too quickly just now.

Otherwise, Xiao Yanxiu would have forced him to leave a few more things behind; that box of suppressors actually should have been injected into his own body instead.

He understood clearly that a deeper, intimate relationship with an Omega should not end in chaos and haste. He wanted to leave the other person with the most beautiful experience, so he had to go slow—slower still.Full novel: Married To My Childhood Friend: An Alpha Business Contract — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Lu Siyan sat amidst the bedding, a look of innocent charm in his eyes. Even though he was currently in his heat period, he didn’t know what he should do next. It seemed that simply being like this with Xiao Yanxiu, gazing at one another, was enough; spiritual fulfillment could overcome ten thousand hardships.

But suddenly, the Omega cupped the Alpha’s face with both hands. His beautiful face surged forward abruptly, then immediately retracted.

In just a moment, Xiao Yanxiu reacted; Lu Siyan had, one hundred percent, wanted to kiss him just now. The Alpha’s gaze was focused, waiting quietly.

An Omega in heat seemed different from their usual self. He dithered for two minutes, three minutes… five minutes. Every emotion, in every passing second, was revealed with absolute clarity. Nothing was hidden. This included shyness, the longing to soothe the cravings of his heat, a faint cowardice, and finally, simply throwing caution to the wind.

The Omega grew bold and, with heat and speed, lightly brushed against the man’s lips. Immediately afterward, he dove back into the quilt.

Xiao Yanxiu didn’t even have time to taste it; it felt like being brushed by the “tail” of a coffee aroma. The man couldn’t help but let out a low laugh. The Alpha’s voice was muffled, deep, and magnetic, making one’s ears itch.

He reached out to fish Lu Siyan out of the blankets. Like a magic trick, he snapped his fingers, and the cat ears from the bag were placed onto the Omega’s head.

“What is this?”

Lu Siyan was lightheaded and instinctively reached up to touch them, but was stopped by Xiao Yanxiu: “Don’t move.”

There were too many things in the bag Shen Zhiyan had given him. The Alpha was picking blindly and pulled out a lipstick. Men usually have low sensitivity to color and can’t distinguish “trending” shades. Xiao Yanxiu fumbled with it, pulled off the cap, and circled the paste around Lu Siyan’s small face. Finally, it stopped at the tip of his nose; it looked like he wanted to give the Omega a ridiculous clown nose.

The man’s mischievous actions were very purposeful. He thought that, at the very least, Lu Siyan would jump up to stop such a prank. But in reality, the Omega stayed dazed and motionless. It was as if he could completely tolerate the man doing anything to him—or perhaps, in the Omega’s simple perspective, this kind of closeness with his Alpha was exactly how things should be.

That smudge of vintage velvet red was ultimately applied to Lu Siyan’s lips. Although the color suited him well, the Alpha’s clumsy technique caused the paste to smear outside the lip line.

Xiao Yanxiu hurriedly reached out, wanting to clean it for him. To his surprise, as his fingertip wiped across, the lipstick color followed the pad of his finger and smeared from the edge of the mouth to the dimple. The color diffused.

The Omega’s skin was naturally cold and white. Usually, he wore no makeup, making his entire face appear exceptionally pure and innocent. Now, unexpectedly stained with a touch of brilliance, it made his subtle features become vivid.

Xiao Yanxiu lost control of his emotions. The Alpha leaned down, touching the Omega’s small, full labial tubercle; even that spot was now saturated with the scent of bergamot. During their intimate nuzzling, some color was imprinted on the corner of his own lips. He then lowered his head and touched Lu Siyan’s collarbone, leaving a complete lip print.

The half-open collar revealed glimpses of marks. The man’s gaze fixed tightly on them, and he took a deep, sharp breath. Suppressing the surging turbulence within him, he couldn’t help but swear.

“Damn, that’s sexy.”

The Omega in his arms had never heard the Alpha use such foul language. In his dazed state, he was startled. Lu Siyan’s eyes went wide and round; he thought he had made the man angry. Suddenly, he froze in place.

Xiao Yanxiu didn’t have time to explain. The man bent down and, in one move, hoisted the thin, small Omega onto his shoulder. Taken by surprise, Lu Siyan grabbed the man’s clothes with both hands, nervous and helpless, letting out a soft cry.

“Xiao Yanxiu.”

Not knowing the reason, he wanted to ask what the man was doing. However, the next second, he was carried into the walk-in closet. The moment the Alpha kicked the door open, the Omega immediately understood the man’s intention.

One-way mirrors surrounded them on all sides, reflecting their intimate, snuggled forms from every angle. Lu Siyan didn’t quite dare to look. But he was also a little curious. He couldn’t resist stealing a glance, only to see his own “wanting to refuse yet welcoming” expression in the mirror, and he struggled to escape.

The Alpha held him down: “Don’t move.”

The Omega’s face heated up again: “What are you going to do?”

The man didn’t put him down. Instead, he sifted through the rows of clothes hanging along the wall one by one. These were all Xiao Yanxiu’s high-end custom pieces. Lu Siyan was bewildered, once again losing track of what the man intended.

Until the Alpha’s fingertip landed on a silk, mint-green shirt. The design at the collar featured two silk ribbons of the same color that could be tied into a bow. It was perfect for revealing that pair of beautiful collarbones.

The man stuffed the clothes into his arms: “Put it on.”

Lu Siyan’s voice was tiny, offering a non-aggressive resistance: “I don’t want to…”

Although he could wear the style, the man’s size was far too large. On his body, it would be loose and slouchy; the “flavor” of the look would change. Xiao Yanxiu usually yielded to him, but when it came to matters like this, he suddenly became exceptionally dominant.

“Put it on yourself, or I’ll put it on for you.” “You can only choose one.”

The Omega hesitated for a long time. Thinking that he really couldn’t let the man do it—because that man was truly capable of it—he reached out and snatched the clothes away.

He asked to turn off the lights; the Alpha refused. He wanted to cover his eyes; the Alpha refused that too. As they stalled, the scent of pheromones became fishy and sweet again. The Omega faintly sensed an aching swelling inside his body; he wanted the Alpha’s pheromones, but the other party purposefully hid the scent of camellia and cedar.

He was so angry he gave the man a punch. Yet, he had no choice but to unbutton his clothes one by one in the Alpha’s arms, flustered as he changed into the man’s garments, all while secretly and “nonchalantly” inhaling the scent of his pheromones.

“Such a beautiful Omega.”

Xiao Yanxiu stared at that flushed face and praised him sincerely. The hem of the shirt was wide and poorly fitted, but it had a unique charm. After careful appreciation, the man felt something was missing. He thought seriously and had an epiphany. He reached into a side drawer and pulled out a pair of leather shirt stays.

Seeing them, the Omega struggled even harder. “Xiao Yanxiu, stop playing around.”

Lu Siyan’s legs were very thin. The loop used to encircle the thigh had already been adjusted to the smallest setting, but it still didn’t fit right. The Alpha insisted on dressing him fully. Although it was a bit strange—and even made a “clinking” sound when walking—the man was very satisfied.

He grabbed Lu Siyan’s hand and pressed him against the largest, brightest, and widest dressing mirror. His voice was deep as he called out: “Sweetheart…”

Lu Siyan found it even harder to stand steady.

Outside, the rain reached its peak. The rose branches in the courtyard were knocked askew by the downpour, and water seeped into the soil. The pinkish-white petals on the outer layers couldn’t withstand the storm; the branches were stripped bare, leaving only the tiny buds to tenuously survive.

The heavy rain was relentless, lasting through the night. The dark, oppressive clouds looked as if they could push the sky down; the atmosphere was low and heavy. In the damp, cold air, one could vaguely hear the Omega softly sobbing and crying “it hurts,” only to be completely drowned out by the wind and rain.

On the cashmere carpet in the room, various clothes were strewn everywhere, leading all the way to the bedside. The scents of bergamot and camellia-cedar were tightly intertwined.

The phone sitting on the nightstand suddenly lit up, followed by a vibration that emitted a highly unpleasant, piercing sound.

Xiao Yanxiu, exhaustedly cradling the Omega in his arms, answered impatiently: “Who is it?”

The person on the other end didn’t stand on ceremony and got straight to the point. “Brother, I know you’re busy right now. But this matter is very important. I must call and notify you immediately.”

It was rare for Shen Zhiyan to be this serious. Xiao Yanxiu had consumed a lot of physical energy last night, but he sobered up instantly.

“What happened?”

Shen Zhiyan: “Is Sister-in-law by your side?”

Xiao Yanxiu: “Isn’t that obvious?”

The sleeping Lu Siyan was awakened by their noise. When the Omega opened his eyes, he saw the Alpha’s smooth jawline; his body still ached slightly. He was originally too embarrassed to speak, but hearing the shouting from the other end of the line, he couldn’t help but ask.

“Who is it?”

Hearing Lu Siyan’s voice, Shen Zhiyan immediately shut his mouth.

Xiao Yanxiu patted his head: “It’s my friend, Zhiyan.”

The sudden interaction and their eyes meeting caused the Omega to immediately shrink his head back in avoidance. The intimacy with the Alpha last night was vivid in his mind. Although it felt wonderful—and under the covers, their legs were still entwined—Lu Siyan’s habits died hard. He still felt an extremely strong sense of shame regarding this kind of intimate relationship.

The Alpha stood up: “Go back to sleep. I’m going out to take a call.”

The man casually picked up the clothes on the floor, draped them over his shoulders, put on his pajama pants, and took a cigarette from his hand to light it.

“What’s the matter?”

He took his phone and left the master bedroom, entering the study.

Lu Siyan watched the man walk away. The Omega didn’t have a habit of sleeping in. Once he regained his senses, he planned to get up to wash and tidy the messy room. Unbeknownst to him, as soon as his body moved half an inch outward, the sore, soft ache in his waist and bones felt like an invisible hand, pulling him back forcefully.

“Ugh…”

Lu Siyan was forced back into the bedding, a groan escaping his throat involuntarily. He became aware of something unintentionally. After a long period of psychological preparation, he finally summoned enough courage to lift a tiny corner of the sheet covering him.

As expected, he saw large, mottled white traces left on the deep grey silk sheets. That was from Xiao Yanxiu last night… insisting on putting it into his reproductive cavity.
