Here is comes.

Jun Yueyue put down her chopsticks and thought to herself, “The test scenario is finally here.”

When Jun Yueyue read this plot in the novel, she felt it was acceptable. When the male and female protagonists acted it out in words, everything seemed not so wrong. But thinking that she would also have to go through such a test, Jun Yueyue put down her chopsticks and felt a little pain in the non-existent part of her testicle.Full novel: Marrying a deaf-mute male supporting character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The rest of the meal wasn’t very enjoyable. After they finished eating, as Grandpa Jun had suggested, they were about to go to Taishan County to see some non-existent aunt, when, as fate would have it, their car got a flat tire.

This wouldn’t normally be a big deal; Grandpa Jun has so many cars in his garage, he could just drive any one of them. But this was a test scenario, so the four of them were driving when the car broke down as soon as they turned onto the main road.

Jun Yueyue was not surprised at all. She and Fang Anyu sat in the back of the car, twirling Fang Anyu’s curly hair in her hands, calmly watching Fang Anyan get out to check the car problem.

They couldn’t find the problem, but it just wouldn’t start. Just like in the story, the group had no choice but to call the Jun family’s driver and mechanic.

However, since Grandpa Jun told them to go see the so-called aunt, it was like a royal decree to Fang Anyan and Jun Yu. Jun Yueyue had no intention of changing the plot. She followed the others and tried to flag down a car on the roadside for a while but failed. Just like in the plot, she boarded a bus that made a round trip once a day.

There were quite a few people on the bus, with two empty seats. Four people got on. Junyu brought her own wheelchair, but it wasn’t spacious enough on the bus. The driver impatiently urged them to fold up the wheelchair when they got on.

Jun Yu was held in Fang Anyan’s arms and sat in the seat. The wheelchair was folded up, leaving one seat for Jun Yueyue, who was also a girl.

But Jun Yueyue didn’t sit down. She pressed Fang Anyu into a seat, stood next to him, and continued to play with his hair.

Fang Anyu hadn’t spoken to Jun Yueyue much the whole way, but after she insisted he sit down, he immediately softened. He could actually stand for a bit; after all, he was a man, tall and strong…

Fang Anyu tried to get up, but Jun Yueyue pressed her shoulder down with her elbow.

”Sit down,” Jun Yueyue whispered in his ear.

Fang Anyu couldn’t hear, but he could feel the warm, moist breath blowing into his ears. He knew that Jun Yueyue was talking to him.

During the apocalypse, Jun Yueyue would frequently train herself in various ways to improve her abilities, tirelessly. Later, having gained considerable experience, she was even responsible for teaching several mutants whose strength and speed had evolved.

If she wanted to, she really had all sorts of ways to make Fang Anyu understand her meaning even if he couldn’t hear her, in certain situations.

However, her subconscious training method caused Fang Anyu’s ears to turn red without her noticing. Jun Yueyue didn’t notice; she was playing with Fang Anyu’s curly hair in her hand, but her eyes were looking out the window. If nothing unexpected happened, the people hired by Grandpa Jun should have appeared by now.

Sure enough, not far along, the car stopped again. The driver slammed on the brakes, and Jun Yueyue, clinging to the seat, was still thrown forward as usual.

Fang Anyu reached out and hugged her just in time. Jun Yueyue looked down at the hand clasped on her arm, and after regaining her balance, she glanced at Fang Anyu, who looked nervous. She thought to herself that he was still kind-hearted. Every time Jun Yueyue was nice to him, he would get a very clear reward. This kind of fair exchange made Jun Yueyue feel surprisingly comfortable.

Just like the equivalent exchange that she had long been accustomed to over the years.

Two women boarded the bus. They were dressed like ordinary peasant women and looked quite old. Their faces were covered with deep and shallow wrinkles, and one of them had a lot of gray hair. However, both of them were quite robust.

The two were very purposeful. After boarding the train, the one in the lead squinted and scanned the carriage, accurately pinpointing the directions of the four of them.

They were so easy to find; each one of them was so glamorous and out of place with the people in the car, especially Jun Yueyue and Fang Anyu. Their appearance, dress, and even their hair made them look like a pair of dolls that should be displayed in a shop window for doing shameful things.

The woman in the lead looked like she was pulling one of her sisters behind her, but she was actually giving the sister who was still looking around a nudge. They exchanged a brief glance, and then walked toward the four of them with a very clear division of labor.

The woman leading the group, wearing a chicken-dung-green scarf, was clearly heading towards Jun Yueyue and Fang Anyu, while the woman behind her, dressed in dog-dung-yellow, went straight for Jun Yu.

Jun Yueyue changed her posture, preparing for battle, but as soon as she moved, she realized that Fang Anyu’s hand was still around her waist.

She patted his head helplessly, tightened the loose gauze in his hand, turned her head without saying a word, and mouthed to him, “Let go, are you addicted to holding me?”

Fang Anyu hesitated. He understood what Jun Yueyue meant by “let go,” but he couldn’t guess the next sentence. As for why he was holding Jun Yueyue, it was easy to understand. He didn’t have any complicated thoughts. You could tell from his two bright eyes that he was afraid that Jun Yueyue would lose her balance again like before.

Jun Yueyue clicked her tongue, and the corners of her mouth unconsciously curled up again. Before she could say anything more, the middle-aged woman who had walked up to her behind her spoke.

”Hugging and cuddling in broad daylight, do you think this is your own private bed?” She spoke softly, as if muttering to herself, but everyone around could hear her.

Most people are still conservative. As soon as she finished speaking, many eyes turned to Jun Yueyue and Fang Anyu.

I found this part quite enjoyable to read in the novel, since the kind of scene where a middle-aged woman slaps a villainous female supporting character in the face is generally a type of story that people like to watch.

But when you yourself become the villainous female supporting character… it feels almost like you’ve really been screwed over.

Jun Yueyue was now very puzzled. Was it really necessary for Grandpa Jun to conduct this test on giving up seats on the bus? What could it possibly test?

Can you judge a person’s character by whether they give up their seat? If you can tell a person’s character by whether they give up their seat, then that person’s character is far too shallow.

Jun Yueyue glanced at the middle-aged woman in front of her and didn’t say anything. Fang Anyu released her waist, but Jun Yueyue still seemed boneless, resting her elbow on his shoulder, and the two of them stared at each other.

This middle-aged woman was just looking for trouble with money. She had already seen the photos beforehand and confirmed that these were the people in the photos. She especially disliked the one who looked glamorous and eye-catching, so she volunteered to come to Jun Yueyue’s place.

However, when she met Jun Yueyue’s gaze, the older woman had the illusion that she had met her match. In the village, she rarely lost fights, whether it was verbal battles or hair-pulling with a group of women. However, she had also suffered quite a few losses when she occasionally encountered someone of equal strength.

Sometimes, a person’s sixth sense is very accurate. When she met Jun Yueyue’s eyes, she felt that Jun Yueyue was not a good person. Before she could even frown slightly, the sister who had come with her had already made her move on Jun Yu.

Of course, it wasn’t exactly taking advantage of her; it was more like saying, “Young lady, this lady has trouble walking, could you give me your seat? I’ll just sit for a little while, and then I’ll get up…”

Jun Yu is paralyzed, so this kind of test question is too easy for her. Before she could even open her mouth, Fang Anyan, who was next to her, pointed to the wheelchair and gave the woman a cold look. The woman immediately smiled apologetically and said, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, you said I didn’t see that…”

The female lead’s halo is so dazzling that Jun Yueyue is almost blinded. It seems that this test is only for the villainous female supporting character.

Not only was Jun Yu not troubled, but the moment the aunt who had been making things difficult for Jun Yu spoke, the aunt in front of Jun Yueyue was also provoked. After all, they had already received the money, and they couldn’t just not do the job.

As for her feeling that Jun Yueyue was a tough nut to crack, after taking a closer look, she realized she was seeing things. This delicate little girl would cry after being scolded a few times; would she really argue or fight?

So she spoke up, “Young lady, could you give me your seat? This lady is getting on in years and isn’t feeling well…”

But Jun Yueyue interrupted her halfway through her sentence, saying, “Auntie, how can I offer you my seat? I’m standing too.”

Jun Yueyue blinked her big eyes and smiled so brightly it was almost blinding.

The woman in the green headscarf choked, but having already taken the money, she remained silent for a moment before professionally turning her attention to Fang Anyu, saying, “Young lady, I’m not talking about you, of course, but your boyfriend. He’s a grown man, it’s not a big deal for him to stand there for a while…”

Before she could finish speaking, Jun Yueyue suddenly looked terrified and hugged Fang Anyu’s head. “How can that be! My husband is pregnant! He was vomiting so badly this morning that he only ate two sour apricots. How can he have the strength?”

As soon as she finished speaking, the people sitting next to her understood what was going on. Two of the younger ones couldn’t help but laugh. Fang Anyan also looked over at the sound, but unlike before, no matter what happened, he didn’t glare at Jun Yueyue first. Instead, he looked at her with a very complicated expression.

The woman in the green headscarf was also stunned by Jun Yueyue’s words, but she quickly realized that Jun Yueyue was just playing a trick on her!

Then she raised her voice twice as high, her tone shrill, “How can a man get pregnant! You think I’m an uncultured old woman and look down on me, right? You young people, you all look so glamorous and respectable, but actually your manners are incredibly low!”

She offended all the young people on the bus with just one sentence, but she was used to the fact that no one really cared about her because of her age, so she said recklessly, “Hugging and cuddling in broad daylight, shameless! Not giving up your seats for the elderly, do you two have any morals at all?”

Jun Yueyue looked at her with a smile, still holding Fang Anyu’s head in her arms. Actually, she didn’t want him to see the old lady’s face. Fang Anyu was very smart, and he would understand what was going on after watching for a while.

However, Jun Yueyue was not going to give up her seat today. The original Jun Yueyue did not give up her seat at first either, but later, because she couldn’t stand the condemning looks and discussions, she was morally coerced and was eventually dragged up by this old lady.
