Alex stood up when Clara was almost done taking all the dresses down so they could be sent to the Hult estate.

He walked to where the dress was and took it.

His eyes scanned the dress and then Lynn, who was still seated but staring at him.Full novel: Marrying Mr CEO: Be My Bride — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was a mini black dress with floral patterns and long sleeves.

He looked satisfied with what he had picked out and nodded.

“Put these on,” Alex said to Lynn and handed her the clothes.

She stood up and hesitantly took it from him.

“Come with me ma’am, our dressing room is over there,” Clara chimed in, and Lynn followed after her, her eyes on the dress that he had picked out.

“How could he buy so many dresses? Where will I wear all those, too? I’m not even good with heels?” Lynn muttered to herself in the dressing room as she took off her clothes.

She held up the beautiful dress Alex had picked out, and a slight smile appeared on her face, she loved the dress, and it was something she would have picked.

How did he know what she liked?

She gave her head a little shake and sighed deeply.

“Wow,” Lynn said in a whisper when she was done putting the dress on.

It fitted her perfectly and was beautiful and also comfortable.

It was her style, and she loved it.

She couldn’t hold back a smile as she stared at herself.

The last time she had worn such a beautiful dress had been years ago when her family hadn’t gone bankrupt and her life wasn’t so hard.

Thinking about it almost brought tears to her eyes, but she blinked back the tears and continued to admire her dress

“Oh my, it fits you perfectly!” Clara, who was waiting outside the dressing room, said excitedly when Lynn came out.”Thank you,” Lynn said in a low voice her radiant smile returning to her face.

He slowly turned to look at her, and it took him a few seconds before he nodded, a slight smile appearing on his face.

His eyes take in her new appearance.

“This should go with it,” he said and started to walk towards her.

Lynn swallowed when Alex knelt on one knee in front of her and touched her legs she was about to take a step back from him and stop him from whatever he was planning to do but Alex didn’t let go of her leg, instead, he took her hand and made her place it on his shoulder for support.

Lynn swallowed once again when his hand slowly returned to her leg and started to take her worn-out sneakers off.

he had picked up one of the pairs of low ballet flat heels and helped her place it on her foot.

Alex repeated the same process.

“Perfect,” He said in a low voice when he was done.

The shoes were her perfect size and as the dress had been, it was also comfortable.

Clara, who was standing behind them, had no idea that she had a smile on her face as she was watching Alex become the perfect gentleman.

It wasn’t until Alex spoke to her that she regained her composure.

“Send everything over by this evening soonest,” he instructed, and Clara nodded.

Lynn was still too stunned by what had just happened to say a word.

She had to remind herself to breathe because of how fast her heart was racing.

Her cheeks were flushed, and her lips slightly parted.

“We can go home now,” Alex said to stunned Lynn, who slowly turned to look at him.

“My clothes are still in the dressing room, let me get them,” She said and was about to go towards the dressing room, but Alex’s response stopped her in her tracks.

“You won’t be needing it any longer. This is how you will dress from now on I will have someone get clothes and accessories for you, but for now, you can make do with the little ones I just purchased, ” Alex said to Lynn.

Little!

Was he kidding her?

“Oh,” Lynn simply said and nodded.

They left the boutique soon after, and Lynn finally had the perfect opportunity to ask Alex about her job..He no longer picked up his tablet and seemed not to ignore her anymore.

“I was wondering if we could talk about my job”, Lynn started in a low voice, her eyes travelling to the rearview mirror to look at Nathan who had his eyes on the road and looked like he had no interest in what she was saying.

Alex, who knew what she was going to say, responded before she could say anything else.

It was best if he let her know the truth because she would eventually find out.

“I bought the building already,” He declared, and Lynn’s eyes grew wide.

“What!” She exclaimed, and Nathan, who seemed uninterested before, couldn’t help but glance at the rearview mirror.

“I told you not to” Lynn said and almost gritted her teeth in annoyance.

She knew he had money, but he didn’t have to waste it!

She face-palmed herself and sighed deeply.

How was she going to face her coworkers now?

“I’ve told you already, you can’t work there anymore it’s more preferable if you are the owner,” Alex replied, and Lynn turned to glare at him.

Alex swallowed and looked away, feeling a little guilty because of what he had done, but he didn’t regret it.

Instead, he thought that she should be grateful that she was going to have two buildings in her name because of him.

It was like a bonus point for what she was going to do.
