Julia walked through the Oak Lane cemetery…

her heels crushing the dry leaves beneath her feet…

Her expression neutral, the lilies her P.

A had purchased in her right hand…

She stopped when she got to a gravestone and just stood there staring at it through her sunglasses for over a minute before she finally moved closer and dropped the lilies she had bought…

“How have you been” She asked in a low voice, her eyes scanning the gravestone and the state it was in…

it looked abandoned with dry twigs and flowers all around, and even the name on the gravestone had almost faded away…

“Not so good I see,” Julia said taking a step back and sighing, she looked away when her eyes slowly started to water up…

“I shouldn’t have come visit, you are better off all alone… you deserve to be alone” She said in a slightly raised voice and almost let out scream but she was thankfully able to keep her cool and not lose it…

“I’m about to lose everything to Alex and this is all your fault, you shouldn’t have given up too easily!” she face-palmed her face and took a deep breath to steady her breath…

“I’m going to do what you can’t so just watch and see” Julia turned and started to walk away, but stopped in her tracks after taking a few steps..

she turned to look at the gravestone one last time and tears finally left her eyes…

“You should have stayed a bit longer” She muttered before turning and finally walking away without looking back…

she wiped the tears away from her cheeks as she approached the car, her composure back to normal…

Tyler was waiting by the car when she arrived…

he opened the back door for her and didn’t say a single word…

Julia closed her eyes as soon as she was in her car…

Her eyes watered up again as Tyler started the car engine and drove away from the cemetery…

her heart ached but she knew she had to conceal it…

it was more of a weakness.

A weakness that she couldn’t afford because of who she was…

She was an Hult…

“My brother is getting married soon, I want you to find out anything you can about when this is going to take place and Don’t leave the smallest details out…” Julia instructed Tyler, who was still surprised by the fact that Alex Hult was getting married…

the whole day seemed to be filled with surprises for him and he Had a feeling this was just the beginning of those surprises…

He glanced at Julia through the rearview mirror, her beautiful eyes looking out the window…

she had taken her sunglasses off and she looked beautiful, beautiful was an understatement, she was simply breathtaking, anyone who saw her would think that but when they got to know her everyone thought differently…

“Your package from the boutique has arrived ma’am,” Marcus said to Lynn, the next morning…

Alex had left for work early that morning and she had had breakfast on her own…

Lynn’s eyes immediately travelled behind Marcus where three maids were standing with the package that had arrived….

they seemed to have hauled it up the stairs with Marcus…

and it wasn’t little boxes…

she recognised the lady from last night and smiled at her but she immediately looked away, and Lynn was finally convinced that the problem was her…

did she make her uncomfortable…

“I should help” she said and Marcus declined, but Lynn ignored his words because she knew it would take them more than a few minutes to get everything into her room…

she helped and about fifteen minutes later they were finally done…

Lynn’s jaw almost dropped as she stared at the boxes of clothes, shoes and bags that had occupied more than half of her room…

Her room had a big inner closet, but Lynn did not see any use for it because the clothes she had were way too small for the clothes she had Brought to the house so she didn’t see any use for it, but now she saw more than use for it…

She didn’t even know if she should be thankful or uncomfortable because she knew all the clothes were really expensive designer brands…

Marcus saw the look on Lynn’s face and mistook it for something else…

he thought she was worried about arranging all the clothes herself…

“Joan” He called and Joan who was standing behind him felt her heart drop…

she knew she couldn’t decline and hesitantly walked fully into the room…

“Help her arrange everything” Marcus instructed and Joan felt like bolting right out of the room internally, but externally she nodded and watched as Marcus and the two other maids left the both of them alone in the room…

Lynn’s eyes travelled from the clothes to the nervous girl in her room…

she looked more than uncomfortable and Lynn wondered why she acted that way around her…

was it really because she bumped into her…

it couldn’t be only just that “You don’t have to help me, I can do it myself” Lynn said to her and Joan finally looked at her…

“No ma’am, let me help” Joan said and immediately sprang into action before Lynn could stop her…

Lynn could only sigh deeply and she also started to pick all the boxes up…

Lynn couldn’t help but Glance at the girl who she now knew as Joan….

“Thank you for helping” Lynn said Breaking the unbearable silence between them and hoping to start a conversation between them so she could try to find out if she had done something…

“you are welcome ma’am” Joan responded but froze when Lynn said “I’m sorry for bumping into you the other night I wasn’t looking at where I was going… I wanted to apologise but you left before I could”
