“He must be going on with it,” She said and scoffed…

her lips curved up as a man walked into her office looking gaunt…

“We lost our little spy” She said to the man who just walked into the room and a deep frown settled on the man’s face…

“What are we going to do about it?” Victor asked, his eyes on Julia Hult who stood up and walked to where he was standing…

she placed her hand on his shoulder and patted it…

The smile on her face disappeared…

“We would have to look for another way Victor… we can’t possibly sit back and let him have his way can we, or have you forgotten what is at stake here… The shareholders didn’t prove to be much help… They seemed to have annoyed him as he annoys me” Julia said and walked past Victor towards the door, but she stopped in her tracks just as she was about to leave and turned to look at Victor who still had his back turned to her…

“How did she seem when you met her?” She asked and Victor took a few seconds to turn to look at Julia who had a curious expression as she waited for him to answer…

“Normal” Victor responded simply, Julia’s eyes scanned him for a few seconds before she finally turned and walked out of the room…

Victor stood there staring at the closed door that she had gone through…

He had approached her and she had probably thought he was a creep…

he didn’t mean to scare her but he had only done as Julia had asked him…

A small part of him was relieved that Alex took her away to his house…

a part of him that he knew he had to conceal from his ambitious older half-sister…

he didn’t want to get on her nerves…

“Here is your key ma’am” A young man who was standing by a car handed a car key to Julia as soon as she walked out of her house…

from the look on her face alone he could tell that she wasn’t in a good mood… Find the original chapter at g.com.

Julia put on her sunglasses before turning to look at the man, she sighed deeply and grabbed the keys from his hand but didn’t get into her car yet…

“I told you not to wear that stupid tie…I hate it get rid of it” She said…

disgust and disapproval laced in her tone…

The man immediately sprang into action without wasting a second, he took the tie off and placed it in his pocket…

“Better… I don’t feel like driving anymore…” Julia handed the key to him and got into the back seat of the car…

A slight frown appeared on Tyler’s face but it disappeared as soon as it came because he knew he couldn’t risk his boss seeing it…

He closed his eyes and regained his composure before getting into the driver’s seat…

“Where to ma’am” He asked, his eyes travelling to the rearview mirror to stare at Julia, who had taken her sunglasses off…

her eyes were closed and her hand folded across her chest…

“I need to get some flowers… lilies…” She responded in a low voice…

and Tyler nodded, starting the car engine even though he was curious to know what she needed the flowers for…

When they got to the flower shop, Julia’s eyes fluttered open slowly…

she turned to look out the window and saw Tyler smiling through the glass walls of the shops…

He was saying something to the woman who sold the flowers and the woman chuckled…

“He looks so excited” Julia muttered a sad smile appearing on her face…

“She looks excited too” Julia’s smile widened before it slowly dissipated…

She closed her eyes and turned away from the window when he was done purchasing the flowers…

Tyler got back into the car and glanced at his boss who still had her eyes closed… Enjoying the story? Read on at novelping.com.

“Where to now ma’am,” He asked and like he had thought she wasn’t asleep…

“OakLanee” Julia responded and Tyler froze for a second…

“ma’am,” He said, thinking he had heard wrong, but when Julia’s eyes met with his through the rearview mirror, he could tell that he hadn’t heard wrong…

he had heard correctly…

“Sorry ma’am” He quickly apologised and started the car engine wondering what she was going to do in such a place…..

They arrived there about an hour late and Julia came out of the car without waiting for him to open for her…

“The flowers…” She instructed as she put her sunglasses back on and Tyler immediately took the flowers and handed them to her…

He watched as Julia walked off into the Oak Lane public cemetery…
