Every Earthling in this Marvel universe owed Liam a debt of gratitude, because he truly saved the world.
Little Broly’s abnormal display couldn’t escape Liam, who was standing right next to him.
Liam nearly slapped himself in the face on the spot.
Dammit, he hadn’t even fed the kid his milk yet, and he’d already almost forgotten how dangerous his new son was!
Hardly any man his age was unfamiliar with *Dragon Ball*, so he vaguely recalled a bit of what this little guy was capable of.
As the Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly had been born with a mind-boggling power level of 10,000—probably even higher.
By contrast, the protagonist Goku had been born with a power level of merely 2, and even after training hard since childhood, his power level hadn’t broken 1,000 when he first reached adulthood.
Furthermore, when King Vegeta exiled infant Broly to a desolate planet out of jealousy over his strength, Broly had managed to use his own ki to protect his biological father and survive in the vacuum of space at the exact moment that planet exploded!
One had to keep in mind that even after Goku and Vegeta painstakingly trained to transform into Super Saiyans, they still couldn’t survive in outer space.
Therefore, destroying an asteroid with a casual gesture was probably child’s play for Broly, even as a baby.
Facing the impending rampage of baby Broly, Liam didn’t turn and flee regardless of the consequences; instead, he rushed straight forward.
He yanked off his heavy winter coat, draped it over the shivering baby, and wrapped him tightly.
Feeling warmth once again, little Broly quickly calmed down and rolled over comfortably.
As he turned, the Saiyan infant opened his big, bright eyes and looked at this unfamiliar world with curiosity.
Looking at Broly’s chubby little face and the big eyes blinking up at him, a strange feeling Liam had never experienced before welled up in his heart.
He couldn’t help blurting out, “Say Daddy!” …
“Daddy, Daddy!” Three years flew by in the blink of an eye, and little Broly turned three years old.
On this day, carrying a reindeer he had hunted himself and leading a small dog, he bounced joyfully all the way home, shouting happily for his dad the moment he stepped through the door.
“I caught a deer!
Can we have potato and reindeer stew tonight, and then can you keep telling me that story about the little monkey traveling west?” Liam, who had also just returned home, heard Broly’s shouting and walked out of the kitchen holding a large fruit cake.
“Happy birthday, son!” Liam had taken a small plane today to the “big city” of Anchorage, five hundred miles away, specifically to buy this large cake for Broly, along with some household supplies and tools.
“Daddy, you’re the best dad in the whole world!” Carrying a three-hundred-pound reindeer, little Broly jumped three feet in the air with glee.
When he landed, the reinforced floorboards creaked under his weight—and that was with him consciously controlling his strength.
Facing his good son, who sheepishly stuck out his tongue, Liam didn’t scold him.
He simply rubbed Broly’s prickly, thick head of hair.
In a few more years, he’d probably have to stand on tiptoe if he wanted to pat the kid’s head.
Unlike the vast majority of Saiyans, whose heights were somewhat lacking, Broly was truly tall.
In his base form as an adult, he would stand over two meters tall.
So even though little Broly was only three years old, he was already nearly 1.5 meters tall, and growing fast.
Of course, Liam attributed much of Broly’s height to his own stellar performance as a dad, feeding the child scientifically from a young age.
Raising a child was never easy, and raising a Saiyan baby was exponentially harder.
Thank goodness the boy was a Saiyan who could be weaned right after birth and could digest stewed, tender meat.
Otherwise, in the small village where Liam lived—a place called a “town” that actually housed only a few hundred residents—he wouldn’t have known where to find milk powder or fresh milk on short notice.
Even so, on the very first day he brought Broly home, Liam discovered a major problem: The kid ate way too much!
A Saiyan’s appetite was truly a bottomless pit.
Even as an infant, he could easily devour roughly twenty pounds of meat a day.
Add to that Liam’s own increased appetite after acquiring the “Saiyan Upper-Class Warrior” talent, and their combined daily meat consumption reached a staggering fifty pounds!
Unsurprisingly, within a few days, Liam’s winter food reserves hit rock bottom.
He had no choice but to wrap little Broly in thick blankets, strap him to his chest, and brave the bitter cold to hunt for food.
In an Alaskan winter, no sane hunter would go out, but Liam wasn’t normal.
He was a man with a system and a dad with a mouth to feed.
How could a father let his son starve?
Even when temperatures plunged past thirty below zero and the gun oil inside his old hunting rifle froze solid, rendering it useless, Liam still grabbed handmade spears to raid hibernating bear dens.
He chased bighorn sheep along cliff faces with a bow, and whenever he was lucky enough to encounter a moose weighing nearly a ton, he would charge straight in for a “wrestling match.” As long as he could bag a single moose, food for father and son was secured for an entire week.
In all fairness, anyone else attempting this would have died eight hundred times over.
But thanks to the physical boosts from his “Saiyan Upper-Class Warrior” talent, Liam’s Strength, Physique, Agility, and Perception far exceeded ordinary human limits.
Although the winter hunting had been rough at first, he gradually adapted.
Combined with Alaska’s vast, sparsely populated terrain and abundant wildlife, the food shortage facing father and son was eventually resolved.
With basic needs satisfied, Liam naturally turned his attention to the child’s education.
That shift began with an unexpected incident.
Every full moon, any Saiyan with a tail could transform into a Great Ape.
In Great Ape form, a Saiyan lost all reason and became consumed by a bloodthirsty rage, recognizing neither friend nor foe.
Liam didn’t need to worry about himself; his Saiyan talent had been granted by the system, so his core biology remained human, and he had no tail.
But little Broly was different.
He was a true Saiyan.
The Great Ape he became was a terrifying entity that would make Godzilla bow down and call him boss.
However, because so much time had passed since Liam watched *Dragon Ball* in his past life, and because he had been busy hunting for food every day, he had completely forgotten about the full moon transformation.
During his first month after adopting Broly, on the night of the full moon, Liam had actually taken the little guy into the forest to track down a moose!
Right after felling the prey, just as Liam pulled out his knife to dress it, he felt the infant strapped to his chest kick hard.
*Crack!*
