Asat Pramad turned around and faced the three thousand Void Rangers.

He raised his right hand and gently traced his fingers in the void.

Purple energy flowed out from the surface of the dice, condensing into a huge energy net above the formation of the Void Rangers.Full novel: Marvel: I Am The Villian Behind the Scenes — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Every node on that net corresponded to a Void Ranger.

Through this net, Asat Pramad could transfer the control of the Void Rangers to Hela, allowing her to command this Antimatter Legion as if she were commanding her own fingers.

“Alright.” Asat Pramad retracted his hand, and the energy net slowly descended, merging into the bodies of every Void Ranger.

“From now on, they take your orders.

If you want them to attack, they will attack; if you want them to defend, they will defend; if you want them to self-destruct, they will execute it without hesitation.”

Hela walked down the high platform and passed in front of those Void Rangers.

Her pace was neither fast nor slow, and her dark green eyes swept over those dark figures one by one.

“They have no pain, no fear, no fatigue, and no hesitation,” Asat Pramad added from the side, “As long as the controller does not issue an order to stop, they will fight until they are completely annihilated.”

“Perfect soldiers.” Hela withdrew her hand, turned around to look at Asat Pramad, her dark green eyes reflecting the countless dim green fires in the cave, “Do you have more?”

“This is just the beginning,” Asat Pramad said in a relaxed tone, “As long as you continue to push forward with your plan, what I can provide will be much more than just three thousand Void Rangers.”

Hela stared at him for a moment, and then a smile that could be described as dangerous appeared at the corner of her mouth.

“Then just wait and see.”

She didn’t say any more superfluous words, and turned to walk towards the depths of the cave.

Her dark green cloak fluttered behind her, her steps firm and heavy.

Asat Pramad stood in place, watching her back disappear into the formation of the Death Legion.

Then he tilted his body slightly, and the purple light on the dice circulated a ripple-like shimmer.

“Next, it’s up to you, Goddess of Death,” he said softly, “I have already handed the chess pieces to you.

How to play this game of chess depends on your own ability.”

He took a step back, his figure melting back into the darkness, disappearing without a trace.

Hela turned around and faced the Death Legion slumbering in the stone pillars.

“Fenrir, wake them up.”

The giant wolf stood up, his massive body stretching in the valley.

He raised his head and let out a deafening long howl towards the sky.

That howl pierced through the distortion of the rune array, reverberating back and forth among the valley walls, like an invisible key inserted into three thousand locks.

The dark green mist on the stone pillars began to surge, and those energy cocoons split open amidst tremors, revealing the sleeping Undead Warriors inside.

Hela raised her right arm, and dark green divine power gushed out from her palm, turning into countless fine lines connecting every awakening warrior.

Her voice resounded in the valley, no longer as calm as the conversation just now, but carrying a solemnity akin to some ancient ritual:

“Awaken from your slumber, return from the embrace of death.

You once fell in battle, and your souls were retained by my divine power.

Now, I need you to take up your weapons once again, for Asgard—no, for me!

For that Asgard of my dreams, with infinite territory, forever marching forward in conquest!”

The Undead Warriors slid down from the stone pillars one by one.

When they landed, their armor made a dry clashing sound, and those armor pieces still bore the scars from when they died in battle back then.

Their eyes were hollow darkness, but dark green flames burned within the darkness.

That was an extension of Hela’s death divine power, a projection of her will across countless individuals.

Hela flipped onto Fenrir’s back, looking down from above at the neatly arranged Undead Warriors and the three thousand motionless Void Rangers.

She took a deep breath, then raised the sword in her hand and pointed it in the direction of the Golden Palace.

That evening, the sky of Asgard was a brilliant sunset glow.

Golden, orange, and purple clouds piled together like an oil painting splashed with too many pigments.

Sounds of banquets and conversations echoed in the palace, servants hurried about busily, guards began to change shifts, and the Valkyries completed their final patrol in the sky, preparing to return to their quarters to rest.

That night, Hela launched a surprise attack.

The Death Legion poured out from the secret underground passageways.

Those Undead Warriors stepped with neat and silent strides, wearing dark armor, with dim green flames burning in their hollow eye sockets, resembling countless ghost fires suddenly lighting up in the darkness.

At the same time, Fenrir rushed out from the wilderness at the edge of the continent.

The giant wolf’s figure in the night was like a moving mountain, every landing he made shook open a circle of deep claw marks on the ground, and his roar tore through the night sky, shocking the entire Asgard awake from its dreams.

The guards of the Golden Palace were completely unable to react within the first dozen seconds, until the vanguard of the Death Legion had stepped into the outer plaza of the Golden Palace before someone sounded the warning horn.

“Enemy attack!

Enemy attack!!”

The sound of the horn echoed in the night sky, followed by the tolling of bells, shouts of killing, and the footsteps of countless soldiers rushing out from the barracks.

Asgard’s reaction speed was quite fast.

After all, this was a battle-hardened warrior nation that had experienced countless wars.

Even if awakened from their dreams, they could organize an effective defense in a very short time.

The first wave of resistance formed when the Death Legion arrived in front of the main gate of the Golden Palace.

Asgard’s royal guards rushed out from the flanks, forming a defense line with shields, and spears thrust out from the gaps in the shields, stopping the charge of the Undead Warriors.

But their resistance did not last long.

Hela appeared above the battlefield, dark green divine power surging around her.

The longsword in her hand, pieced together from countless metal fragments, was held high above her head, and the light on the sword suddenly surged, rising in the night sky like a dark green Sun.

“Kneel.” She said.

The sword fell.

The dark green light poured down like a waterfall, exploding in the center of the royal guard’s defense line.

The fierce Impact blew dozens of soldiers flying away, shields shattered, spears broke, and that defense line, which had lasted for less than thirty seconds, collapsed just like that.

The Death Legion seized the opportunity to break through, and the Undead Warriors poured into the outer area of the Golden Palace like a tide, engaging in fierce combat with the Asgard garrison reinforcements rushing in from all directions.

The entire Golden Palace turned into a battlefield in just a few minutes.

Asat Pramad stood at the top of the highest tower of the Golden Palace, overlooking the battle situation below.

The night wind blew his white tailcoat flapping loudly, but the purple light on the dice remained motionless, flashing steadily and calmly.

“It has begun.” He said softly.
